Strongest Necromancer System Chapter 1077: Erasure of Origin

If Jason had allowed the Legion to kill, then this would’ve been an extremely simple fight since most of the soldiers were in the SSS or low TITAN Ranks! The Bengari were all using their shields to bash any soldier that tried to get close, and the Machina had formed holographic shields with their armor that protected the front of the castle! The phantoms were dragging all the more powerful soldiers into the shadows quickly, and Ragnar and all the other subordinates without defensive abilities were staying back since they would only hurt the soldiers if they joined in!

The Mind Apostle was watching all of this happening from his secret castle, and he grit his teeth in annoyance as he felt this mission slipping away from him! The Mind Apostle could see Jason and Agiel standing on the balcony in the distance, but none of the Mind Apostle’s minions could fucking reach them!

’Just fucking kill them!’

The Mind Apostle shouted out to all his minions angrily, but all the minions stopped their charge as an intense mana suddenly surged through the region!

DOON!

The Mind Apostle felt his eyes widen as he saw Jason and Agiel’s bodies getting covered in pure white mana, and the Mind Apostle cursed as he realised that the Soul Bond was already complete!

Jason and Agiel’s bodies shone with bright white mana that forced many people to turn away to avoid getting blinded by the glare! The light shone over the entire main city of Jadar and filled the region with their joint mana, and it took nearly a full minute before the light finally began to dim down once again! Once the light dimmed, all the civilians on the ground turned to look up at Jason and Agiel in shock, and they saw the two of them standing together on the balcony!

Agiel looked over the absolute carnage that had taken over her world, and she frowned in anger before she turned to Jason and held her hand out towards him. Jason smiled and took Agiel’s hand, and Agiel pointed her other hand towards the city.

For a long time, Agiel’s power had stagnated and prevented her from growing any stronger. The reason for this was because of the Soul Bond that she hadn’t formed with Jason and how important it was to her growth. But now that Agiel had formed the Soul Bond, all the magical and mental blocks that prevented her from growing her power to the next level had been completely eradicated.

Agiel always believed that her power allowed her to match the frequency of any physical thing and eradicate it by causing a destructive resonance with it. This [Rupture] allowed Agiel to go toe to toe with people and beasts that were far stronger than she was! But Agiel realised at this moment that she had been wrong! Although [Rupture] was one part of her power, it was not the full extent of what Agiel could do!

Now that her Soul Bond was complete, Agiel was immediately enlightened about what her true power was! Agiel had the ability to project her mana towards anything in existence and ’Erase’ it from its very core. This power was called:

[Erasure of Origin]

Sheen!

A bright light shone out across the entire world of Jadar as Agiel and Jason’s mana surged through the landscape, and Agiel focused all of her power on destroying whatever it was that had poisoned the minds of all her people!

On the distant, unknown world, the Mind Apostle watched in shock as Agiel’s power seeped into the minds of all his puppets! The Mind Apostle had used an Arcane Art to control those people, so he knew that no form of magic should work against them at all! So how was this possible? How in the world was Agiel managing to reach for the Arcane Art inside his puppets!

Agiel’s power forced its way past all of the Mind Apostle’s defences and dug into the minds of the prisoners and soldiers. And then, it Erased the Origin of the Arcane Art of Mind!

Through the eyes of one of his minions, the Mind Apostle watched as all his puppets were freed from his control and fell to the ground unconscious! It was such a shocking and unexpected event that the Mind Apostle couldn’t even try to do anything to fight back against it! All he could do was watch in pure shock! But even if the Mind Apostle had tried to fight back against it, it would’ve been absolutely useless! Although Agiel’s [Erasure of Origin] had not yet fully developed, it was already far stronger than the simple [Mind Corruption] attribute that the Mind Apostle used on these people, and so it was easy for Agiel to completely eradicate the corruption from their minds!

Erasure of Origin: This ability allows the user to target the core concept of any entity or power and erase it from existence. Due to complications regarding this skill, there are criteria that must be fulfilled before this skill can be activated.

[Criteria]

-> The user only wields one-half of this skill; therefore, the user must be in contact with the woman known as [Agiel], who wields the other half of the skill, before it can be activated.

-> The user must be in direct line of sight with what he wishes to erase before the skill can be activated.

-> This skill can only be used against entities that either the user or the user’s partner, Agiel have a deep understanding of.

Due to the complexity of the skill, the system has developed a percentage gauge to determine how deeply the user understands an entity he wishes to erase. In order to erase an entity or power from existence, the percentage gauge must be up to or higher than 50%. The higher the level of understanding, the easier it will be for the user and his partner to activate the skill and erase the object’s Origin.

Jason read through the new system messages very quickly, and he was not surprised by the new power that he saw there! Jason had never heard about [Erasure of Origin] before, but for some reason, Jason felt like he knew what this power was. Almost like this power was a part of him and he was only just discovering it now! When Jason read the part of the message that said he had a part of Agiel’s soul permanently bonded to him, Jason felt slightly uncomfortable with that idea, but it didn’t take long for Jason to simply accept it for what it was!

Jason had chosen to accept this Soul Bond with Agiel, so Jason was going to accept whatever consequences came with it!

Jason then went on to read through the description of the [Erasure of Origin] skill as well as the criteria needed to activate it, and Jason hummed in understanding once he saw it! That made a lot of sense! Although Jason would have preferred to be able to simply erase anything he wanted, it was too greedy to hope for something like that. Being able to erase anything that either Jason or Agiel understood was still a very useful ability.

’I guess that’s why we can erase the Mind Corruption so easily. I have a very high understanding of it.’
