Just like her mother, Agiel had tried many times to form a Soul Bond with her partner! The air in front of Jason suddenly exploded in a sonic boom, and Jason was immediately thrown back by the blast! Jason landed on his feet and slid back for a few meters before he looked over at Agiel curiously!

Agiel jumped at Jason again, and Jason dodged another blow while taking a second sonic blast that nearly defeated him! Jason realised that there was something different about this Agiel! Not only was she stronger, but her magic had also grown to a level that was far higher than what Agiel ever possessed! This Agiel would be able to give Gina a run for her money if they ever got into a fight!

But for some reason, rather than it feeling wrong, Jason had a feeling that this was the right level of power for someone like Agiel! Jason remembered feeling a bit disappointed when he saw Agiel’s power level a few months ago! After Jason came back from his fight against Rubik and the Machina, Agiel had still been an SSS Rank, and Jason was disappointed because, for someone with her potential, Jason thought she should’ve gotten into the TITAN Ranks at least, and Jason thought she had been neglecting her training. And this meant that her fighter’s spirit was now attacking Jason with all the power that Agiel was meant to have gained!

The fighter’s spirit unleashed attacks on Jason in rapid succession, and Jason easily evaded or deflected all of them while watching closely! The fighter’s spirit didn’t care that Jason was the true wielder of Agiel’s Soul Bond, and it didn’t care that Jason was here to try and help Agiel! Agiel’s fighter’s spirit was simply doing its best to make sure Jason couldn’t get through!

Jason evaded a punch from Agiel, and he slapped away another punch toward his eyes. Agiel flipped through the air and sent a kick to his head, but Jason caught her leg and threw it down! Agiel flowed with the momentum, and she was finally able to send a kick straight into Jason’s jaw!

The kick was immediately followed by a sonic blast that tore through the air like a missile, and Jason’s head shot up as smoke rose into the air from his chin! But there was no wound there at all, and when Jason brought his head down, he didn’t even need to touch his chin since there was no pain either! The fighting spirit narrowed its bright eyes at Jason and charged in with another punch, but Jason caught the blow and pushed her back with a frown.

"I don’t want to fight you, Agiel. You don’t need to do this."

Jason spoke in a disarming voice while giving the fighting spirit a calm look, but the fighting spirit narrowed its eyes at Jason in anger, and it spoke its very first words since Jason came here.

"Fight me."

Jason was confused, and he frowned as he asked a simple question.

"Why?"

The spirit’s answer was just as simple.

"You owe me."

At that moment, Jason seemed to immediately realise exactly what was going on! This wasn’t the true Agiel that he was talking to. This was the part of Agiel that had been looking forward to fighting him ever since the first day that they met. Agiel had always been a warrior, and Jason couldn’t allow her current situation to make him forget how he had ignored her desires for so long. Even though Agiel knew that she would lose, and Jason was far stronger than her, Agiel’s fighting spirit was not going to back down no matter what! Jason owed Agiel this fight, and Jason finally let out a calm breath as he flexed his arms and unleashed his pressure!

An intense wave of pure power surged across the entire world, and the fighting spirit in front of Jason actually stumbled back once the pressure slammed into her! There was a surprised look on her face as she felt the full force of Jason’s mana for the first time, but that surprise slowly began to turn into excitement as she brought her hands up into a fighting stance once again! Jason spoke up calmly.

"I’m going to start at thirty percent of my full power and go up from there. I won’t kill you, but try your best to survive for as long as possible. I hope you have fun."

The fighting spirit grinned even wider and blasted off the ground with a shout!

"Only thirty percent!? You insult me!"

The fighting spirit let out a punch that flew straight towards Jason’s face and slammed into Jason’s cheek before she unleashed her gift, and a sonic wave of superheavy air blasted into Jason’s body and eradicated a building that was more than a hundred meters away from them!
