But Jason did not appear. Instead, the priest brought the rope forward and began to tie it around their hands. And once the rope was wrapped around them, a sudden tremor went through the bodies of both Agiel and the King, and they both seemed to pass out while standing!

Vinaris, the advisor, grinned from where he was standing as he watched a shield forming around the bodies of the couple. This was a common phenomenon in the marriage ceremony. Once the shield breaks and the couple wakes up from their unconscious state, the union would be complete.

The head priest raised his hands towards the crowd and spoke in a loud voice.

"Let us pray for the union. That it may last for the next one thousand years –!"

BOOM!

A massive explosion suddenly went off somewhere in the distance, and the gathering of people all turned around in shock as they saw the fireball rising into the sky! The priest looked up in shock as he wondered what was going on, but a voice from right beside him dragged him back to the present.

"Get out of my way."

"!"

Everyone standing on the stage turned towards the newcomer with shocked looks on their faces, and they were stunned to see the Overlord of the Sixth Domain standing before them! Jason had a frown on his face as he looked at the large shield that formed around Agiel and King Tigal, and Jason wondered what the hell that shield was supposed to be.

"W-What are you doing here!? How dare you desecrate the sanctity of this ceremony! Guards!"

The priest called out in a loud voice, but before any of the guards could even appear, there were hundreds of Legion subordinates surrounding the balcony with their weapons in hand! The guests on this world were all around SSS Rank to TITAN Rank I, so even though they would be able to put up a good fight and win against most other armies out there, they didn’t stand a chance against the TITAN Rank II Bengari and Machina soldiers that surrounded the balcony!

One of the guards tried to charge against the Machina soldier in front of him, and the Machina simply pointed his blaster at the guard’s arm and tore it off with a single shot!

BOOM!

The man dropped to the ground with a pained scream, and every other guard suddenly stopped in their tracks when they saw this! Jason had instructed the Bengari and Machina not to kill any of the guards since Jason didn’t want to deal with even more diplomatic issues than what he would already be dealing with, but even without killing anyone, the Legion was still more than capable of taking every single person here down!

At the side, the advisor’s eyes widened in shock once he saw Jason, but he immediately spoke up in a loud voice!

"You’re too late, you fool! The ceremony has already begun! If you interfere now, you’ll destroy her mind completely!"

The advisor took a threatening step forward, but he was immediately stopped by one of the Bengari soldiers pointing her sword right at his chest! This managed to stop the advisor in his tracks, but he was still glaring at Jason with a mocking smile! Jason turned towards the advisor with a curious look in his eyes, and for a moment Jason just stared at the man without saying a word. But then Jason spoke up knowingly.

"It’s you in there, isn’t it, Mind?"

The advisor’s eyes widened in shock when he heard this, and Jason immediately sent a message to the subordinate close to the advisor! The Bengari subordinate walked over and grabbed the advisor before forcing him down to his knees, and no matter how hard the advisor tried, it was impossible to break out of the hold! The advisor struggled against the Bengari until he realised that he couldn’t break free, and he immediately sent out a telepathic message!

’My lord! Jason is here! He is trying to stop the wedding!’

This message immediately travelled towards the Mind Apostle, Theosis, in his castle, and Theosis stood up from where he had been sitting on a woman’s back and spoke to the advisor!

’You fool! Do you not know how to do anything right!? How did Jason learn of the ceremony?’

’I don’t know, my lord! But I am being held down, and I cannot stop him!’

The advisor sent this back, and Theosis frowned for a moment before he decided that his initial plan had failed! It was time for plan B! Theosis had already suspected that something like this might happen, so as a way to ensure he wasn’t caught off guard by any surprises in the future, Theosis had gone into Jadar earlier, and he used his abilities on a few more people!

’Go forth and kill everything in your path. Leave no survivors.’

Theosis sent this message out towards all his minions in Jadar, and he smiled as he felt all of them send back their acceptance!

Back in Jadar, barely two seconds had passed. Jason was still watching the advisor closely, but Jason frowned as he felt the ground under his feet start to shake! Jason turned to his left and looked into the distance where the earlier explosion had taken place, and Jason was shocked when he felt the rumbling beginning to grow even harsher! Jason had sent an entire horde of more than five hundred Legion subordinates to the outskirts of the city to go and release the prisoners that the King of Jadar was holding captive. It was the fight between the horde of Legion subordinates and the soldiers in the prison that had caused the earlier explosion.

Jason knew that the only reason Agiel was going through with this wedding was because of the prisoners down there, so if Jason wanted to make sure Agiel didn’t go through with it, the first thing he had to do was to make sure the prisoners were all free. But something had gone very wrong with the prisoners!

’My King! There is a problem! The prisoners have turned feral!’

One of the subordinates at the prison suddenly called out to Jason, and Jason asked what happened! The soldier explained that they had been setting the prisoners free just like Jason asked them to, but all of a sudden, the prisoners all turned and charged at them! Once Jason heard this, he immediately activated [Eye of the King] to see what was happening, and Jason was shocked to see millions of prisoners tearing their way out of the underground prison and jumping at the Legion subordinates without caring about their lives! The Legion subordinates were not attacking since they had come to help the prisoners, and that allowed some of the prisoners to break through the Legion’s formation and spill out into the surface!

’He’s controlling all of them?’

Jason was shocked as he immediately realised what was happening! The Mind Apostle had somehow taken control of all the soldiers and prisoners in the prison, and now he was bringing them out into the surface to try and stop Jason!

"RARRRGHH!"

A loud scream from the side drew Jason’s attention, and Jason turned sharply to see that the Jadar soldiers standing around had also turned feral! Their eyes were wide and bloodshot, and they were snarling like mindless berserkers! The soldiers immediately drew their weapons and began to charge straight towards Jason, but the Legion subordinates around Jason were able to stop them! Down on the ground, there were thousands of soldiers charging through the crowd of civilians who had been watching the wedding, and screams tore through the region as the soldiers began to kill any civilian unfortunate enough to get in their way!
