Strongest Necromancer System Chapter 1004: Interdimensional Transit Line

"I’ll miss you, baby."
Jason felt a tremor go through his heart when he heard this and he wrapped his hand around his youngest wife with a grin and pulled her close.
"I’ll miss you too, babe. Don’t worry, I’ll be back before you know it."
Riyala pressed her face into Jason’s neck and nodded, and Jason smiled as Hesabeth and Gina both hugged him as well. The girls were acting extra needy today, and Jason didn’t mind at all. This was just motivation for him to come back as soon as possible.
But none of them knew that this would be the last time they would be able to enjoy a peaceful moment together for a long time. Although Jason already knew about the Celestial that would soon be unleashed, he had no idea just how soon that monster would arrive, and very soon, the peaceful era that had lasted for so long across the Primordial Expanse would be coming to an end.
....
[The World of Varian]
[Two-dimensional Leaps Away From Minori]
Jason left the world of Minori later that day after spending a few more hours with his girls. Riyala forced Jason to have a bath with them, and they somehow ended up having a few more rounds of sex in there. At the end of it, Hesabeth could no longer move at all, and Gina just laughed at her in amusement! The two women had developed a strange sort of rivalry about who could handle him better and it looked like Hesabeth was losing badly! Jason was just glad that they were getting along so well!
Riyala pulled Jason aside while Hesabeth and Gina were having their playful banter, and she told Jason that there was something she wanted to tell him when he got back! Jason asked her if it was necessary to wait that long. If it was important, then shouldn’t she just tell him now? But Riyala insisted that it had to wait until he got back! Riyala seemed really nervous for some reason, and Jason didn’t like seeing his littlest wife so nervous, so he just promised to come and see her once he was done with his mission! Riyala smiled and kissed Jason happily, and a few hours later, Jason was making his way out of Minori with Stella following after him.
’So where exactly do we need to go to reach the Eastern Mountains?’
Jason spoke to Esdath while flying over a large ocean in the world of Varian, and Esdath responded quickly.
’You’ll need to go to the fifth domain to reach the Eastern Mountains. Just make sure you prepare yourself! The Eastern Mountains have been hailed as the most beautiful landscape by travellers for millennia! It’ll take your breath away!’
Esdath was sitting on the roof inside Jason’s Alternate Dimension with his hands folded, and he was nodding wisely while talking, and Jason decided to ignore the silly boasting. Instead, Jason responded in confusion.
’The fifth domain? That’s where Queen Fiona is from. The domain under Val’kat. Wouldn’t it take too long to fly there? It’s more than two thousand worlds away; I can’t just leave my domain for that long.’
Jason still remembered how long it took him and Gina to reach Aquinas! They had to travel across more than two hundred worlds back then, and all of that was just within the sixth domain! There was no way they could reach the fifth domain in a shorter time!
But Esdath just chuckled softly, and he said.
’Oh, you youngins know nothing about the Primordial Expanse! Who says we’ll be flying anywhere? We are going to take the interdimensional transit line.’
’The what?’
[The Interdimensional transit line is a supersonic transportation system developed by the High Dwarves that live in the tenth domain under Lord T’arigan. The Transit line is used by travellers who wish to move across domains quickly, but it is not very popular due to its exceptionally high cost.]
The system came up with a quick explanation, and Jason was stunned when he finished reading it!
’Why the hell am I just learning about this? Didn’t you think this would’ve been useful when I was trying to reach Aquinas?’
Jason turned to Esdath in annoyance, and Esdath waved Jason’s complaint away.
’Oh, don’t be absurd; the interdimensional transit doesn’t work within the same domain, and this is the first time you’re going to a world in another domain where you don’t have any subordinates for [King’s Substitute], so there was no need for you to use it before now. And besides, do you think Rubik didn’t have Machina soldiers watching the Transit line? If you used it back then, you would’ve been caught easily.’
Jason hummed at Esdath’s explanation. It was true that Jason always had a subordinate that he could switch places with whenever he needed to travel to another domain, so he never had to travel anywhere for long! And if Jason had tried using public transport during his trip across th sixth domain, there was no way Rubik wouldn’t have caught him!
But this was great news! If there was a public transport system that moved people between domains, then Jason could easily make the journey in far less time!
’How long will it take for us to get to the fifth domain using the transit?’
Jason asked this question, and it was the system that answered.
[The trip from the seventh to the fifth domain using the interdimensional line should take approximately one full day. The interdimensional line uses complex space-time magic to reduce the travel time across domains, but due to the system’s internal magical costs, there will be multiple stops along the way to refuel for the journey.]
Jason nodded once he read this message.
’Alright, that could work. But you said it was expensive. How much exactly are we talking about?’
The system brought up a new tab.
[The cost to travel across domains is calculated based on how many domains you will be passing through to reach your destination. To travel from the seventh to the fifth domain, the user will have to move across two domains. And at a rate of two hundred thousand gold coins per domain, it will cost four hundred thousand gold coins in total.]
’Holy shit, that’s a lot.’
Jason was stunned when he read the message! No wonder people weren’t using it to travel! The number of people who can afford two hundred thousand gold coins to move from one domain to another was very, very small! This basically meant that this transit line was only reserved for the ultrarich!
’But you don’t have to worry about that, do you? You’re rich!’
Jason scoffed at Esdath’s words before Jason just shrugged. Esdath wasn’t wrong about Jason being rich. Four hundred thousand gold coins would barely make a dent in his net worth! But Jason didn’t think he would even have to pay for the transit line at all! Jason’s Arcane Art allowed him to blend into places without anyone ever sensing that he was there, so if Jason simply blended into the shadows on the transit line, then he would be able to use it without any issues!
"Master, is everything alright?"
Stella spoke up from behind Jason when she noticed that Jason was spacing out in thought. Stella had changed out of her maid uniform, and now she was wearing a pair of black trousers and a black T-shirt, with the Marc logo embroidered on the left chest, with a long jacket over all of it. Jason didn’t mind Stella serving him on his journey, but he would rather avoid drawing people’s attention with her maid’s outfit!
Stella was looking at Jason with a worried expression, and Jason just smiled and told her that he was fine.
"I was just thinking of the quickest way to reach the Eastern Mountains. Do you know about the Interdimensional Transit Line?"
