Supervisor Wu, now a "Ghoul," explains their "Zombie Clan" sheds human weakness for perfection. As Qian Dongming initiates the ritual, Supervisor Wu announces the start, and dozens of villagers, holding lanterns, enter the courtyard and form circles around the well, with twelve strong men in the inner circle, before kneeling.
