Damon's clone attacks a goddess, leaving a poisoned hand inside her that corrupts her from within. As she struggles to contain the poison, Damon uses another clone to attack a god, infecting him with the same corruption. The gods realize Damon's plan and begin to attack him fiercely, overwhelming his clones and his real body. Aiden reveals that he foresaw Damon's actions and has prepared a counter, declaring Damon is finished.

Damon’s figure was still as more and more attacks continued pelting him. With the time, some of the Gods started preparing extremely powerful spells. Even entire worlds wouldn’t stand the aftermath such powerful attacks.

A vast golden wheel unfolded behind the elderly god, its outer edge turning slowly as inscriptions appeared along its surface. Each symbol drew power from the next until the entire thing shone brightly enough to swallow the stars behind it.

Farther away, a woman raised both hands above her head. White flames gathered between her palms, compressing into a sphere no larger than a human skull. Damon could feel its heat even through the attacks bursting against his body.

Minnahithaya coiled around the battlefield. Lightning traveled along his enormous spine, gathering at his whiskers while his pale eyes remained fixed on Damon.

The weaker attacks continued without interruption, keeping him trapped while the others prepared to finish him.

“Everyone, prepare yourself.” Aiden suddenly called out.

Right at this time, a beam of light shot out of Damon. A breathtakingly beautiful set of wings appeared in the middle of space. Then came another and then another. A total of six wings appeared.

They unfolded slowly, pushing through the explosions surrounding him. Each feather seemed to contain a different shade of crimson, their translucent edges catching the golden light pouring from the elderly god’s wheel.

At the center was a slender woman from whom pure angelic aura spilled out. She was elegant, graceful and the embodiment of divinity. However, the moment she flashed her eyes open, everything about her changed.

Her entire aura flipped and she became something that made even the gods hesitate.

The gentle light surrounding her darkened. Crimson spread from the roots of her six wings to their tips, and the feathers lifted as an overwhelming killing intent swept through the battlefield. Her gaze passed over the gathered gods before settling on Damon.

One after another barriers sprang up as she stopped all of the attacks in their tracks.

“A six-winged angel, an existence equivalent to a Demi-God!” Aiden gasped. He had always prided himself in never missing a calculation but this time, he was left speechless.

“That is impossible,” he muttered. Not that this was going to change anything. A Demi-God couldn’t change the outcome of this battle, even if she was a six-winged angel!

Before he could even finish that thought, another figure shot out of the chaotic mess. It was another woman but this one had a corrupted sinisterous aura that reeked of killing intent. Poisonous miasma flooded everywhere as the figure instantly shifted to an enormous draconic form.

“A true dragon! A true dragon Demi-God!” Another God shouted.

Aiden’s heart raced. How did this true dragon appear here? He did not like how things were progressing. One after the other many unexpected anomalies were popping up and he did not like it.

However, two Demi-Gods were still nothing. Unless a God suddenly appeared. Nothing was going to change. Even if a God does…

Aiden froze as apparently it was not over yet. A spatial rip suddenly appeared and from withing a golden figure stepped out. A humongous golden figure, a titanic golden figure. The aura was that of another demi-god!

Aiden and the other God’s eyes flew wide in shock. A golden titan! How could they not know the significance of this?

Moreover, to see a six-winged angel, a true dragon and a golden titan one after the other was enough to make even the elderly god lower his staff slightly.

Individually, they were still Demi-Gods. He could suppress any one of them if given the opportunity. But these were beings whose bloodlines allowed them to challenge opponents far above their own rank, and all three had appeared beside the same corrupted.

And it was still not over. One after another several other beams shot forward. Each and every single one of them possessed a Demi-God’s aura. The first one reeked of carnage and slaughter. The second one possessed a pure sword aura. The third one possessed a unique aura of illusion and the fourth was clearly an elf but walking a crimson path.

There was a water elemental demi-god. There was a ice elemental demi-god. In the blink of eye, twenty demi-gods now surrounded the corrupted, each building up barriers and defending the single person.

The Gods watched this scene coldly. Twenty Demi-Gods. None of them showed any hesitation. They had emerged directly into a battlefield filled with gods, still they dared to point their weapon against them!

Where the hell had he found such people?

More importantly, how had he raised them to this level?

Each of them could only imagine what would have happened if these Demi-Gods possessing powerful bloodlines were allowed to grow and develop to their full potential. With the corrupted as the backbone, they would have truly become something unstoppable!

However, now their fate was sealed. They had revealed themselves before any of them could truly ascend, and none of the gods intended to give them that opportunity.

“Kill them all,” the elderly god said.

The golden wheel behind him stopped turning. Its inscriptions lifted from the surface, arranging themselves into twenty long spears, each aimed at a different defender.

“No one leaves.”

The spears shot forward.

The golden titan stepped into their path, his enormous arms crossing before his chest. A barrier settled over his skin as the angel spread her wings behind him, but the first impact still drove him backward.

The second spear pierced his shoulder.

Golden blood spilled into the void.

Before the third could strike, a sword flashed past his head. Its edge caught the spear from below, deflecting it just far enough to miss. The sword wielder’s hands split beneath the force, but he held on and swung again.

Around them, the others met the remaining spears.

Water twisted around one, dragging it off course. Ice formed over another in thick layers that shattered almost as quickly as they appeared. Crimson vines caught a third, only to burn away as the weapon forced its way through.

They were struggling.

The gods could see it, and their attacks immediately intensified.

The goddess released the sphere of white fire. Minnahithaya swept his whiskers forward, sending branching lightning around the titan toward those sheltering behind him.

The dragon opened her jaws and answered with a torrent of poisonous breath.

For a moment, the two attacks held against one another. Then lightning tore through the miasma and struck her across the neck. Her enormous body twisted, scales scattering beneath the impact.

She recovered before she could collide with the others, digging her claws into empty space as another barrier formed in front of her.

In the midst of this commotion, the Gods did not stop attacking the main target. The corrupted and his group of freakishly strong demi-gods were completely being overwhelmed and pushed back.

Aiden quietly let out a sigh. Some things had happened beyond his calculations but in the end, what will come, will come. The inevitable will remain inevitable.

The titan’s bloodline could be as noble as it pleased. The angel could unfold another pair of wings. Neither would change the fact that they were facing twenty gods who had finally decided to take this seriously.

Aiden watched a golden spear tear through another barrier. It struck the chaotic mess at the center, finally reaching Damon and tossing his figure backwards like a ragdoll.

However, the man who was flung aside like he was nothing, suddenly stopped mid-space and blasted forward. The bloody aura surrounding him cleared up and finally everyone was able to see his face and body.

Damon stood there in the middle of complete chaos and multiple spatial tears without a single scratch on his body. His cold gaze swept across everyone with a devilish grin as he quietly roared.

“I am still here, aren’t I? Who allowed you to touch my family?”
