The protagonist entered a hidden medicinal garden, once belonging to a powerful ancient sect. Despite the place being abandoned, the spiritual energy plants were thriving, indicating an unknown caretaker. The protagonist sensed a faint, familiar energy resembling immortal energy and decided to investigate a small hut at the garden's center.

"Why is it so strong in this place? What is going on here?"

The moment that I entered the hut, I found that I was completely wrong about this place.

I could feel the strong immortal energy that filled this entire room, but that was a problem too.

"It’s too much that I can’t tell where it’s coming from?"

Since it filled the entire room, I really couldn’t tell what item in this room was releasing that immortal energy.

As I stood there, I could understand why I had felt the immortal energy coming from the plants in this garden. It was all because the concentrated immortal energy inside of this hut was leaking out.

Since the hut was right in the center of the garden, it actually allowed the immortal energy to spread out evenly to every corner of the garden. That was why all of the plants in this place had this faint layer of immortal energy covering it.

It was also why the plants in this place grew so well in the first place.

When the plants were being raised with immortal energy like this, it really was hard for it not to grow well.

The immortal energy was already a dense source of energy to begin with, so it was only natural that the plants would grow like this when they absorbed it.

After figuring this out, I turned around to look at the plants that still had traces of immortal energy hanging from them. As I looked at them, I was wondering if it was possible to use these plants for Max’s research.

But in the end, I could only shake my head as I said to myself, "It doesn’t have enough energy. It’s just a small layer of immortal energy around these things and it would dissipate by the time that I brought it back."

It was a real shame since it certainly would have fulfilled Max’s request to get a bunch of samples if these plants could provide the immortal energy.

After thinking for a bit, I still came to a conclusion.

"Whatever was allowing these plants to grow can still provide immortal energy to them and turn them into samples. So it isn’t as if I can’t use them, I just have to find the item that’s releasing the immortal energy and replicate this place."

This made me even more determined to find the item that was releasing the immortal energy.

In the end, I raised my hand and gathered my creation divine energy.

I didn’t know what I wanted to do at first, which was why I just left it to the creation divine energy in the end. The only thing that I did know was what I wanted to create and what effect it would have.

"Is that a black hole?"

When the creation divine energy formed the thing, I was completely caught off guard.

After all, this was the last thing that I had expected it to create.

However, I could see the effect that it was having on the space around me and I understood why the creation divine energy had formed this black hole.

It was just that it was still strange to see a black hole in my hand like this.

At the very least, it didn’t seem like it was affecting my hand at all even though it was a black hole that was sucking in the immortal energy around me.

In the end, the black hole stopped sucking in the immortal energy all of a sudden.

It wasn’t because all of the immortal energy had been drained away, it was because the only immortal energy that was left in this place was coming from the item that was generating it.

The black hole had stopped because it knew that if it continued, it would have completely swallowed this item.

"A hoe?"

It was certainly a strange shape for an item that contained immortal energy, but there was no mistaking what it was.

If one couldn’t feel the immortal energy that was coming from it, they would have thought that it was nothing more than a normal hoe.

But no matter how one looked at this, it was strange that a hoe was the item that was releasing this immortal energy.

"Since it’s a hoe, does that mean that the previous owner was a farmer?"

The items that were imbued with immortal energy should be items that those that became immortals used in the past or things that had a deep connection with them.

So if it was in the shape of a hoe, then it meant that this was related to the profession of the immortal when they were still in the lower realm.

However, it really was hard to imagine that a farmer had become an immortal...

"Anything is possible in this world, I should stop judging." I said to myself in the end before heading towards the hoe.

Only when I approached, I could feel the hoe acting up.

It was almost as if the hoe was telling me not to come any closer as it released more immortal energy.

Feeling this, I came to a stop and looked carefully at the hoe.

From the way that it was acting, it seemed like this hoe had some kind of mind of its own. It wasn’t as if the hoe was a living being, it just seemed capable of reacting to different things around it.

"This is certainly a more complete item compared to before, so it would make sense that it would have this ability. But what other kind of abilities could this thing have?"

I wanted to give the hoe the benefit of the doubt, but it didn’t seem like it was capable of doing that much since it was just a hoe.

Which was why I still approached even though the hoe kept releasing its immortal energy around itself.

I really wanted to see what kind of things the hoe was capable of.

Then all of a sudden, there was a spiked thing that came out of the ground.
