Shota's Isekai NTR Adventure Chapter 2454: Exploring the cultivation realm (1)

With the terms set, there really wasn’t much that needed to be said.

But before we could leave, there was still one thing that had to be done.

"You can go with them and solve the issue of the corruption energy."

That was the order that I gave the soldiers that wielded the divine energy weapons.

Hearing this order, it seemed like most of them were hesitant.

Of course, it wasn’t that they didn’t want to follow the orders. It was just that they didn’t think that it was appropriate for them to be doing this.

The main reason that they had come here was because they were supposed to get combat experience against the corruption energy. But now they were just going around cleaning up the corruption energy in this cultivation world.

But then again, there was a part of them that did want to explore this place.

This cultivation world was a completely unknown world to them, so they really wanted to take the time to explore this place and see what they could find.

To these soldiers, this place was an unknown land filled with adventure.

I could clearly see what they were thinking, which was why I knew exactly how to convince them.

"Go and see what you can find about this place. Even if you can’t find anything, it’ll still be worth it."

The eyes of the soldiers lit up when they heard this before they all accepted the order.

Basically, I was giving them the excuse that they needed to explore. After all, this exploration would be considered information gathering like this and it was perfectly justifiable.

But I didn’t give this order just for them.

This was also an order for myself since I also wanted to explore this place.

Or it was better to say that I wanted to go and collect the precious items in this cultivation world.

There were many hidden treasures that I knew about that were just waiting for me, but it wasn’t as if I could move alone to get them. Which was why I was using the excuse of taking a tour in this cultivation world to get them.

Though it turned out that there was a snag to this plan.

"We’ll be guiding you."

The ones that had been sent were the elders of the various sects.

It seemed like the different sects were working together to send people to monitor me with who they sent to guide me around. It was almost as if they were afraid that if I were to go off on my own, I would discover more things that they didn’t want me to know.

It seemed like the play that I had put on was just too effective that it scared them into taking action.

But then again, it could only be considered the consequences of my own actions.

Still, it wasn’t as if I couldn’t make this work.

There were still places that I could go to avoid being followed by these elders.

"Why do you want to go there?"

The elders were naturally confused when they heard my request, but I just calmly said, "It’s because I’m interested in that place."

I made sure to keep my answer as vague as possible so that they wouldn’t be able to question me. But it was inevitable that it would raise suspicion since the places that I requested to go didn’t have anything in them.

For someone to request to go to a forest in the middle of nowhere, it seemed suspicious no matter how one looked at it.

It was just that they really couldn’t think of a reason to reject my request.

They did try to make other suggestions, but I didn’t listen to any of them as I insisted on going to the place that I wanted to visit.

As such, they had no choice but to take me there.

Though the path that they took was a bit winding as they took me to various different places that did have attractions. While we passed by those attractions, the elders made sure to introduce them to me as much as possible.

It was clear that they were trying to distract me using these attractions, but it wasn’t as if that would work.

However, there were a few attractions that I did show a bit of interest in.

It wasn’t that I was giving up on my plan, it was just that these attractions had secrets that even the elders didn’t know about. I was just saying these words so that I could have them bring me back here later.

But in the end, we still arrived at the forest that I wanted to visit.

The elders had strange looks on their faces as they looked around this forest.

They didn’t bother introducing this forest since there was nothing here for them to introduce to me. Instead, they just focused their attention on trying to figure out what was special about this place that I wanted to come here.

Only it wasn’t possible for them to find it.

This was something that could only be found through special methods and they had no idea what they were even looking for.

I could tell that they were even using their spiritual sense to try and find the special thing about this forest. After all, I could feel the fluctuations that were coming from them as they used their spiritual sense.

But it didn’t matter what they tried since they didn’t find anything in the end.

"Oh no, I slipped."

It really didn’t sound convincing at all, but I fell forward.

Before the elders could even react to this, the scenery around me had changed.

When I landed, I was in a completely different place.

"Now this is what an immortal’s residence should look like." I said as I looked at the manor that was in front of me.

Around me, all of the elders that had been there were gone without a trace.
