Neither of us did anything since it wasn’t as if we were all here.

Once the mothers of my children came back from sending the kids off, that was when we started.

This was something that I left out of my report to them, so I knew that it would be a bit troublesome to explain why I left it out. But in the end, there was no need for me to explain anything as they seemed to understand.

Though that didn’t stop them from letting out a small glare at me from time to time while I explained.

When it was all over, I looked at Dorothy and waited for her response.

If we were to go through with this, her opinion was the most important one.

She was the one that controlled the corruption energy that we would be using for this experiment.

It didn’t seem like she was going to say anything at first with the way that she just looked forward with that blank expression. The expression on her face showed that she was thinking about something, but I couldn’t tell what she was thinking.

Rose was about to move forward as if she was worried about Dorothy, but I stopped her before she could.

This was the one thing that I had more experience with than her, so that was why I was able to make such a decision. I knew that this was something that Dorothy had to work out for herself or it would be meaningless.

After a long moment of silence, she asked, "Is it certain that this will be the end?"

I shook my head before saying, "There’s no telling what will happen, it’s just what I was shown. That’s why I want to make sure that it’s the same with you."

Dorothy didn’t answer right away after this was said as it looked like she was still processing what she had just heard.

After another long moment of silence, that was when she finally asked, "How will you do it?"

This was something that I had thought about for a long time and it took a while, but I was able to figure out an answer for this. Though this was something that I preferred not showing anyone since it was something that wouldn’t be good if more people were to find out about this.

Which was why we went to a place that was hidden deep in the castle.

This was a place that very few people knew about since this was a private place that the prime minister had set up. It was a place that was only open to those in the royal family and a few others that were trusted by the royal family.

This was the place that I put down the orb that was my relic and focused on releasing divine energy from it.

It didn’t seem like anything was happening at first, but those that were sensitive to divine energy could tell that this wasn’t nothing at all. Those that were sensitive to divine energy could sense the large amounts of divine energy that I released.

After a while, there were cubes that appeared in the space around us.

These were cubes that were formed from my creation divine energy, but they weren’t normal cubes either. Every single one of them had large amounts of divine energy compressed in them.

Once this formation of cubes had been formed, that was when the divine energy inside of the cubes were released. All of the divine energy was released and gathered in the space in the center of the formation.

When all of this divine energy was gathered, it created a phenomenon that shocked everyone.

"Why can’t we see anything?"

No matter how they looked at the space inside of the cube’s formation, they couldn’t see a single thing. It was so dark as if light didn’t exist at all in that space, but it wasn’t just that light didn’t exist.

There wasn’t a single thing that existed in that space after the formation was released.

After all, this formation was one that isolated everything that was there.

From what I had learned about manipulating space, I had learned how to use the divine energy to completely isolate a space.

As for why I was isolating this space, it was all because I wanted to test something with the corruption energy that Dorothy possessed.

I didn’t turn back right away after creating this space and instead focused on making sure that the space was completely isolated from everything. It was only when this space was isolated that something could happen to the corruption energy inside.

Once I was certain that it was complete, I turned back to look at Dorothy and waited for her reaction.

Even if I created this space, she was the one that would do the experiment in the end.

I could see the hesitation that was in her eyes as she looked at the isolated space that I created, but I told her, "It’s perfectly fine. I’ve made sure that it’s isolated, so nothing will happen."

Though these words were just confirming what everyone could see, it did help her calm down a bit.

After taking a deep breath, Dorothy stepped forward and raised her finger towards the isolated space created by the cubes. Before reaching her finger into the space, there was a drop of corruption energy that was released from the tip of her finger and crossed into the isolated space.

Once the drop of corruption energy entered the isolated space, it actually didn’t disappear from sight.

Rather, it stood out quite a bit with how it clashed against the darkness of the isolated space. Even though it was black in colour, it actually somehow stood out even though there was no light.

It was a strange thing with how it stood out, but it was a good thing that we could see it.

Now it was all about what this drop of corruption energy would do next.
