The protagonist used fireworks to distract the rock creatures, allowing him to infiltrate the city and eliminate several high-class rock creatures. He found them to be weak and lacking information, lamenting their corrupt society. Upon reaching the last high-class rock creature, he was surprised when his attack failed to instantly defeat it, noting a familiar aura.

"You’re the one that’s been causing this trouble?"

My hair stood on end the moment that I heard this.

After all, these were words that I could actually understand.

But so far, there had been no rock creature that had been able to communicate with me. At the same time, the words that had been said did not ring out in the air, but rather entered my mind directly.

Whoever was talking to me was actually projecting words that I could understand directly into my brain.

There was no doubt that whoever was doing this was powerful, but why was it interfering in this place?

I looked around for a bit before turning to look at the high class rock creature that was in front of me. There was this familiar feeling that was coming from it that was drawing my attention.

It took a few seconds, but I was able to figure it out in the end.

"Divine energy?"

This wasn’t divine energy that was coming from the rock creature itself, but rather divine energy that was surrounding it. It was the kind of divine energy that seemed to be possessing this rock creature.

It was almost as if this divine energy was wrapping itself around the rock creature as some kind of cover.

Still, it wasn’t as if this posed any threat to me.

"Who are you?" I slowly asked the rock creature.

"I am the god of this world, Morak. Who do you think you are to interfere in my territory?"

I was completely caught off guard when I heard this.

When I asked the question, I hadn’t expected a response at all since I didn’t think that the other side would be crazy enough to reveal information for free. But it turned out that I had been wrong about the other side.

Even if it was a god, it didn’t seem like the other side was that calm or smart.

Perhaps this is why the rock creatures turned out this way.

They were just following the example of their creator...

In the first place, it wasn’t as if there was much that could threaten gods.

Though for this god to develop this kind of personality just because it had nothing to fear...

"There are all kinds of gods out there and all kinds of other worlds."

The fact that this god could connect to this small part of its world that was being copied by the dungeon, it was a demonstration of the power of the gods. But at the same time, I couldn’t help feeling a bitter feeling.

"Am I going to create another enemy already?"

But it didn’t matter if this was the case since it was already too late for me to come back from this. With everything that I had already done, the only thing that I could do now was see this to the end.

Seeing that I wasn’t saying anything even though it had threatened me like this, the rock creature pointed one of its arms at me before Morak said, "Yield to me and serve me. That is the only way that I’ll let you..."

Before it could even finish what it was going to say, I sent out the swords that were around me.

"You!" There was this voice filled with rage that rang out, but it didn’t have time to say more as it was using the rock creature’s body to fight back.

When the rock creature put up its defenses, there was divine energy that was infused into those defenses.

However, I wasn’t worried at all seeing this since I could tell that it wasn’t strong enough to defend against my attacks. The rock creature did what it could to create rock structures that would block the swords, but they didn’t last a single moment.

Even the divine energy that filled these rock structures were scattered by the sword.

"How is this possible?"

That was all that Morak was able to say, but it wasn’t as if that did anything for it.

After shattering the defenses, it was only natural that the swords would destroy the core of the rock creature as well.

It wasn’t just the main core that was destroyed, it was also the secondary core that was destroyed. After all, the amount of swords that I threw at the rock creature wasn’t small.

It was basically ripped apart with all the swords that it was hit by.

But it didn’t explode into loot right away, instead the divine energy that wrapped around the rock creature was keeping it from dying.

"Who are you?"

I was once again caught off guard by this voice, but this time it was because there was something strange about its tone. After all, I could hear the fear that was in this voice that had never appeared before.

"What do you mean?"

"How can you..."

It didn’t seem like Morak was able to say anything in the end as the divine energy scattered and a pile of loot appeared.

Seeing this, I couldn’t help slightly knitting my brows.

I could tell that this wasn’t natural, it was as if someone had forcefully intervened and caused the divine energy from Morak to scatter. But then again, it wasn’t as if I was able to figure out who it was that had done that just by staring at this pile of loot.

"It’s time to go."

There was no telling whether Morak or another god would appear soon, so I gathered up the loot and prepared to head to the next room.

I still couldn’t help feeling a bit bitter over the fact that I was creating more enemies like this, but I was also wondering how the one that had created this place had connected all those beings here.

"It seems like I’ve been underestimating them. It seems like their reach goes beyond just this single world..."

Regardless of what the situation was, I just had to follow the path that had been laid out in front of me.
