In the end, I didn’t follow the robots into the base.

This base had all kinds of different strange things popping out of it that I didn’t recognize at all. There was no telling what kind of effects these things had, so I didn’t dare approach that easily.

After all, it would have been a problem if one of them was a sensor that could detect me.

Even if the spells had worked on the robots previously, there was no telling if magic would work on this base.

It was my first time seeing this robot and the base that it came from, so it was only natural that I didn’t actually know anything about these things.

I really wanted to see if there was anything that I could learn about these things.

After all, it would be good if I could bring back the technology for these robots.

No matter how one looked at it, robots were superior to humans in many different ways.

Even if this was a world where magic could be used, robots were still useful for many different jobs that could be automated.

Not to mention that in terms of defense, robots were certainly much more useful than humans that needed food and rest. Robots were able to keep working at all times, so they could be used in place of humans.

Namely, they would make the perfect patrol units which was what these robots were already being used for.

Only I didn’t know how much I would be able to obtain and how much I would be able to take back with me.

After all, there was no telling what would drop if I were to attack these robots.

As for learning it on the spot...I just simply wasn’t capable of this.

While I was observing, I did figure out something interesting.

The robots that entered and left this facility, all of them seemed to be doing one thing.

All of them were going on patrol just like the ones that I had followed to this place.

I didn’t really understand why they would do something like this, especially since there shouldn’t have been anything for them to find.

After all, this place was a part of the dungeon and even if they were following a scenario, there wasn’t anything that should have been alive in this place.

"Unless there’s something that I don’t know about in this place."

That or the robots already knew that I was here and they were searching for me.

I chose to believe that it was the former rather than the latter.

I chose to believe that my illusion spells were working and they hadn’t noticed me.

So in the end, I followed a few of these patrols with my divine energy scans. I wanted to see just what these robots were looking for and if there’s anything special about this place.

But in the end, it didn’t seem to be the case.

No matter where the robots went, there wasn’t a single trace of what they were looking for. The only thing that I found was that this floor really was completely destroyed other than a few more of these robot bases.

I didn’t find anything that might prove that there was something else in this place.

"So it’s just a general patrol?" The more that I thought about it, the more confused I was about all of this.

After all, this hidden floor hadn’t been created to protect the dungeon core. This hidden floor had been created by a certain god for some unknown reason...

"Also, where’s the boss of these robots?"

From all of the movies that I had seen, I knew that there should have been some kind of central computing unit that was controlling these robots. But after following them for so long, I didn’t find a single trace of that.

The only thing that I was able to find were several bases that were just like the first one that I found.

In the end, it really felt like all I was doing was grabbing at straws. It didn’t feel like anything that I was doing was giving me the answers that I wanted.

"Let’s just destroy one of the bases and see if I can find anything."

That was the last resort that I didn’t want to use, but since I wasn’t able to find anything, it wasn’t as if I had another choice. At this point, it would be a waste of time trying to explore this place and finding the answer that I wanted.

In fact, I had already found the exit to this room while I had been following the robots.

To my surprise, this room wasn’t even as big as I thought it would be.

At least compared to the large land, ocean, and sky rooms, this one was considered tiny.

So at this point, I could leave this room whenever I wanted.

It really did seem like it was a waste of time to spend more time searching this room.

The base that I chose to attack was the first one that I had found.

This was the one that I had spent the most time scouting, so it was the one that I had the most confidence in attacking. I didn’t know what exactly was inside, but this was the one that I had spent the most time scanning with divine energy.

So I had a general idea of the layout of this base.

"How do I attack this place?"

It really seemed like one bad move would just result in a large explosion that I wouldn’t be able to escape from. Not to mention that it wasn’t my intention to destroy the entire base since I wanted to see if there was anything that I could bring back.

In the end, I settled on the plan of drawing the enemy out.

There was bait that was moving in and out of this place, so it should be easy to use them to draw out the enemy.
