Shota's Isekai NTR Adventure Chapter 2380: Hidden floor (2)

It didn’t take long for me to reach the first room of this corridor.
But even before reaching it, I could hear the sounds that came from it.
It sounded like the sound that horses made, but it was also a bit different.
Hearing this gave me an idea of what to expect, but I certainly didn’t expect to see what appeared.
After all, these were considered legendary beasts that weren’t easily encountered. Even if it was just one, it would already be considered a big deal.
But there were a bunch of these things that were all gathered here.
Seeing them like this really made it awkward for me to fight them, but I really didn’t have a choice. After all, it didn’t take long for them to show their aggression towards me.
It seemed like they especially didn’t like me with the way that they were acting.
Though I already knew why this was the case.
These legendary beasts did have a preference and I was the exact opposite of that.
It was seen the moment that I stepped into the room and they all glared at me.
But they also went further than just glaring at me as they pointed the horns on their heads in my direction. They didn’t do this to show me the horns that they had, they were doing this to prepare to attack me.
All of these unicorns looked like they were prepared to ram right through me.
Though it wasn’t as if any of them could actually do something like that.
Before they could reach me, I just raised my hand and condensed a wall of ice in front of me.
Since they were running in a straight line, it was easy for me to follow their movement and raise this wall in front of them. At the same time, I made sure to use divine energy to create this ice.
The walls had to be strong enough to stop their charges after all.
Other than being legendary because of the value that their body parts had as ingredients, they were also legendary because of their strength.
A unicorn’s charge was able to easily penetrate through most things as they gathered most of their mana inside of their horns when they charged.
But in front of an ice wall that was made of divine energy, there really weren’t many things that were stronger. Not to mention that this was something that I had created.
Even if I didn’t want to brag, I still had to admit that I was the strongest out of all those that used divine energy.
There really wasn’t anyone that could have made a wall as strong as the one that I made.
Once the unicorns slammed into the ice wall, they found that they weren’t just stuck in the wall. Once they were in the wall, the ice that had been a part of this wall suddenly started to spread.
It was only a bit at first, but it didn’t take long before it completely covered their horns.
The unicorns naturally panicked when they saw this, but everything that they did to break free of the ice only made things much worse.
Instead of breaking free, the ice started to spread to the other parts of their bodies.
Namely, it started spreading across their front hooves.
Out of all the parts that the unicorns could have used, the front hooves were naturally their first instinct.
But the moment that the front hooves made contact with the ice, the ice started to spread across them. There wasn’t anything that the unicorns could have done to prevent this.
Once the ice started to spread, they found that they weren’t even able to break through the ice. The ice that had formed over their hooves felt like a layer of steel with how hard they were to break.
It was futile trying to break through and soon there were unicorns that were completely frozen in place.
But there was one single unicorn that managed to break free.
The way that it broke free was quite the tragedy though.
After breaking free, the unicorn looked at the horn that was stuck in the ice.
It wasn’t something that this unicorn had intended to do, it was something that had happened by accident. But once this happened, it wasn’t as if the unicorn could go back on this.
Once it saw its horn stuck in the ice like that, the unicorn’s expression looked like it had lost all light.
It was like the unicorn lost all will to live with how the colour drained from its face.
These unicorns really took pride in their horns and the moment that it shattered, they completely lost their sense of identity.
In fact, this unicorn that had lost its horn actually charged right back into the ice wall as if it was trying to reattach the horn that it lost. But the only thing that happened was that the ice spread over its head and completely covered it.
This happened to all of the unicorns that had been trapped inside of the ice wall.
Once they were frozen, their figures suddenly disappeared.
It wasn’t that they escaped, but rather they died and turned into loot.
In the unicorn shaped ice pockets that were formed, I could see the items that they dropped.
"So it still functions like a normal dungeon and drops loot."
Looking closely at the items, I could see that these were technically considered normal drop items since they were materials from the unicorns. But then again, it wasn’t as if any material from a unicorn was considered normal.
After all, materials from unicorns were considered rare and precious.
Even the most common material from a unicorn was something that was worth putting up on auction.
The main reason for this was the large amount of mana that it contained.
"This much mana in a dungeon, it just doesn’t feel normal at all."
