The protagonist gives three disciples letters for their parents, forbidding them from reading the contents. After reassuring them he won't die in the dungeon, he uses a powerful green light to fully restore their health and energy, sending them on their way. He then easily defeats a respawned Salamander, celebrating his disciples' "graduation."

Looking at the long corridor that was in front of me, I couldn’t help letting out a sigh, "It’s still going to take a while before I reach the end of this dungeon."

Even though I no longer had to escort those kids, it wasn’t as if I was progressing that smoothly through the dungeon.

That was because the dungeon became bigger and bigger with each floor that one went down.

At the very bottom floor, it was almost as big as some of the smaller countries.

So it really wasn’t that easy to explore this dungeon.

The only reason that I thought that I would be able to make it to the bottom was that I would be able to make my way through undetected. But after a while, I realized that this wasn’t the case.

It wasn’t as if I couldn’t go undetected if I wanted to, it was just that the consumption was not worth it.

Once I reached the fourth floor, the lower level spell that I was using wasn’t working against the monsters anymore. Even if I were to use a higher level spell, it would just be a drain on my mana without much help.

I could have used my divine energy to solve this problem, but it wasn’t as if it was safe to do so.

I had become cautious after what happened under the sea.

Even if there were no signs, it wasn’t as if it wasn’t possible.

So if there was corruption energy that was hiding inside of this dungeon, it was best if I didn’t advertise my divine energy. If I were to do this, it really would be hard to guard against whatever was hiding in the darkness.

I only chose to use divine energy when I needed it to fight and nothing more, I even made sure to create a barrier around the area I was fighting in so that it wouldn’t leak out.

But since I decided to come to this place, it wasn’t as if I could turn back now.

The only thing that I was worried about was how to report this matter back to my wives.

After all, I had promised that I would send reports back from time to time and the last report should have gone a while ago...

"Perhaps if I bring back something good, they won’t make it hard for me..."

Which was why I suddenly stopped and turned in a certain direction.

After following this path for a bit, I arrived at the place that would give me what I wanted.

In the game, this place was considered a trap area since the drops from this place were considered garbage.

However, those garbage drops were what I was after this time.

But before I could get the garbage drops, I had to take care of the monsters that were in this place.

This was the second reason that this was a place that was hated by the players of the game.

Not only were the drops garbage, the monsters here were also especially hard to fight.

"Ao!"

I shook my head with a bitter smile seeing the figures moving in front of me, but I didn’t panic as they approached me. If it was anyone else, they certainly would have panicked seeing this large pack coming closer, but there was no need for me to worry about this.

After all, I knew the best way to take care of them.

"Ao...kuh."

The wolfmen that had been charging at me suddenly collapsed to the ground because something had tripped them up. When they looked down, they found that there were roots that came out of the ground, but they weren’t able to do anything.

After all, the moment that they looked down, the roots suddenly became spears that stabbed right into their heads.

None of them were able to do anything as they were taken down by these roots.

Well that was all except for one wolfman that made it through.

This was the largest wolfman out of the pack, the one that was clearly their leader.

But it wasn’t as if I couldn’t stop this one if I wanted to.

The reason that I didn’t stop this one was because I was using its status as the alpha.

These wolfmen followed the instincts of a wolf pack and they would follow the alpha if he charged forward. Which was why even though there were these roots that came out of the ground, they were still charging forward.

This was something that had been discovered in the game, which had made it easier to deal with these wolfmen. Though it wasn’t as if it was that easy since they still had decently high stats as monsters of the fourth floor.

It was only when someone had broken free of the power restrictions of the system that they would become this easy to take down.

Once all of the wolfmen were taken down, that was when I finally dealt with the alpha as well.

Even though he was the alpha, his stats were only a bit higher than the other wolfmen.

As such, it was easy for me to capture the alpha with the same roots that I had used on the rest of the pack.

It would have been easy for me to scatter them by hunting the alpha, but there was a reason that I had hunted the entire pack.

"You’re kidding me, it didn’t drop at all?"

Even though there were over two hundred wolfmen in this pack which meant that there were two hundred loot drop chances, I still didn’t get the thing that I wanted.

At that point, I knew that it was just bad luck...

After all, that drop had a 1/100 chance of dropping.

The fact that it didn’t drop even though I killed two hundred of these wolfmen just meant that I had the worst possible loot drop luck.

There was a part of me that wanted to dig myself into a hole when I saw this.

But in the end, I said through gritted teeth, "This is for my daughter."
