"Chase him into that alley and we’ll trap him."

I followed this order even though it would have been much easier for me to just use my water magic to take down the one that we were chasing.

After all, I was currently working as part of a team to chase down a criminal.

I really couldn’t blame him for this since it was something that was inevitable.

That criminal didn’t even get to finish what they were saying as I suddenly waved my hand.

The moment that I did this, the water around the criminal suddenly compressed and squeezed against them. The strongest part of the compression was around the wrist of the hand that was holding the dagger.

When this hand was compressed, the criminal couldn’t help releasing the dagger that they had pulled.
