"Grrk."

I stopped reaching towards the door the moment that I heard this sound.

It wasn’t as if this was a sound that was loud enough that could be heard normally. At the same time, there was a sound dampening effect in this place that would have stopped this sound from being heard.

But it wasn’t as if they could fool my sharp ears.

Even if I didn’t hear this sound, I would have already noticed that there was something off since I had been scanning this entire place.

I had heard the manager up above say, "Do it."

After I took my hand back, I reached out for another one of the doors.

While this was happening, I could sense that the people upstairs were also making their own moves as they prepared to switch it one more time. They were planning on forcing me into one of the dangerous rooms.

Even so, I didn’t choose a door regardless of how they kept switching.

After all, I knew that this would only come to bite them in the butt.

It was one thing if they switched it once, but it was different if they continued to switch it.

The part of the next room being unknown was the one thing that made it exciting, so they were taking the excitement out of their own game.

Even now, I could hear the complaints that were coming from the VIPs that were sitting up there.

Some of them were about how I wasn’t going through a door and they wanted to force me to pick one. But most of them were about the organizers taking the fun out of the game by changing the rooms like this.

If they weren’t desperate, they certainly wouldn’t have done something like this.

Since I was an expert in teasing them, it wasn’t as if they could figure out when I was pretending to go into the next room. So that was why they had no choice but to switch the rooms when I reached out for the handles.

Only after they could no longer change it did I move into the next room.

Though just to be sure, I made a quick change as well to the door beside me.

With how they had moved things, it had ended up with two safe doors ending up right beside each other. At that point, they really were panicking since they found that they couldn’t deal with this person the regular way.

It wasn’t as if any of that mattered to me.

Because of the panicked state that they were in, it was even easier for me to take advantage of them and progress without any issues.

In no time at all, I was already in the final room.

It was actually easier than it was supposed to be because they had somehow given up in the end. Even though they were capable of changing the rooms, they had stopped doing so after a few rooms.

They had realized that they wouldn’t be able to use this trick on me, so they were choosing to use a different solution.

This final room only had a single safe door that would lead me out of this maze, but that wasn’t a problem for me to find. It was just that what was gathered behind that final door would have caused other people problems.

It wasn’t as if they could cause me problems since they wouldn’t be able to do anything to me, but it was certainly interesting seeing how they had chosen to end this.

"All of these thugs gathered just for me. It seems like this will be interesting."

After a certain point, they realized that there wasn’t any way that they could trick me with their games. They had already guessed that I knew exactly where each of the rooms were and where to go.

Which was why they had started observing me as if they were trying to figure out what kind of tricks I was using.

Once they were unable to figure that out, the only thing that they could do was use brute force.

If they couldn’t kill me using the game, then they would kill me themselves.

"You cheated."

That was what they said the moment that I walked through the final door.

They didn’t even bother waiting for me to say anything or for me to fully step through. They were hoping to catch me off guard so that they would be able to settle this matter quickly.

From all around me, I could sense the gazes of the people watching me.

Not only were they accusing me of cheating, they were also turning this into a show for the VIP guests. From the sensation that these gazes gave me, it was clear that they were enjoying the show.

Other than these words, there were hands that reached out towards me as if they were planning on grabbing me so that I couldn’t do anything.

Before they could reach me, they found that there was something that trapped them.

The water that was around them stirred and there were waves that were created that stopped them from moving. It didn’t matter how these thugs tried to break through the water that was restraining them, they just couldn’t resist at all.

"You...as expected, you really aren’t simple."

It didn’t seem like the boss of this establishment was scared seeing me manipulate the water around me, but that wasn’t surprising.

Since they had gone into this business, it was only natural that they had prepared strong forces to deal with them.

The ones that had tried to grab me were the weakest thugs that followed the boss of this place. The ones that were around the boss were the ones that were really in charge of being the muscle of this place.

But before any of them could make a move, there was a large explosion that came from behind them.
