Since these crops contained divine energy, it wasn’t even something that I could leave to the worms and bacteria in the dirt to break down.

After all, if they became divine worms and bacteria...

Well, it really would have been troublesome to deal with if that were to happen.

Which was why I stored them all and prepared to bring them to people that could eat them.

Since it was filled with divine energy, it wouldn’t be a problem for those that already possessed divine energy to eat them.

If they liked them and gave me things, then it would be even better.

But of course, this wasn’t a bribe.

This was just an offering to the gods.

Right now, the only thing that I could do was put everything inside of my Storage Ring since it wasn’t as if this was the place to send it to the gods. It also wasn’t as if I could reach the divine realm in this place.

I didn’t waste any time in gathering up all of the crops that came from the field.

Though it seemed like it might grow even more if I were to let the stopwatch keep running, it wasn’t as if I could do that.

"What about the other parts of the plants?"

The more that I thought about it, the more of a pain it seemed like.

Until I finally came to a decision.

"I’ll just dump...offer them all to the gods."

Regardless of what happens, it was best if I just dumped everything that might have contained divine energy on the gods. While I had an idea of how to deal with them myself, it was better to leave everything to the gods.

After the field was cleared, I didn’t know whether to plant more crops or if I should do some more tests.

But I realized that I had been doing nothing but work for an entire day.

If I continued at this rate, it really didn’t seem healthy.

In that case, the best thing to do was to go and meet some of the others that were also here.

It wasn’t as if I was the only person that was in this place, there were others that had come here for the same thing as me. They were here to study how to revive the land that had been destroyed by the corruption energy.

Though I didn’t really know what kind of people they were.

The only thing that I really knew about them was where they would be staying.

When I arrived at the settlement, I couldn’t help being surprised.

After all, their appearance certainly wasn’t what I had been expecting.

"Oh, you’re a young one."

A wry smile appeared on my face when I heard this.

That was because this settlement was filled with people that were far older than me. It didn’t seem like there were any young people here other than the ones that had been sent to guard these old folks.

It really didn’t seem to make any sense why all of these old people had been sent here.

It would be one thing if they were experts in their field that had the knowledge to help this place, but I could easily see that this wasn’t the case. These old folks just didn’t have the aura that an expert of that level would have.

These were clearly just normal old people that had been sent here.

I didn’t doubt the prime minister since we both knew how important this project was, so he wouldn’t just send random people here. There had to be a reason that they had all been sent here.

"We’re just simple old farmers that volunteered to come here to reclaim the land."

That was the response that I got when I asked them about themselves.

The answer that they gave certainly fit the feeling that they gave me, but I was still confused why the prime minister had sent them here.

It wasn’t that I doubted the knowledge that they possessed, it was just that this knowledge really wasn’t going to help if they were on this land that was still corrupted.

Even if they were to plant their crops, it wasn’t as if they were going to grow.

So it didn’t make sense that the prime minister would send these people here.

That was until I heard something interesting.

"We weren’t even supposed to come here since we had been rejected, but we were recently contacted and brought here. I knew that it was our passion that moved them in the end."

These old farmers were surprisingly passionate about all of this.

It really seemed like they had come here specifically because they wanted to make a change. Though it was strange to see that they would have this kind of passion about this.

That was until I learned the reason that they had volunteered to come in the first place.

"We want to reclaim the land that we lost."

So the reason that they wanted to come to this place was because this was once their home. It was only because of the corruption energy tides that came that they had no choice but to leave this place.

Only for these old people, it wasn’t as if they could forget about their homes that easily.

Since they had nothing to lose, they came back in hopes of reclaiming the land.

A part of me couldn’t help cursing the prime minister for this.

I knew that he had only sent these people because he was confident that I would figure out a way to reclaim the land.

But if I had failed to find a way, then it really would have been all for naught...

"It’s a good thing that I figured something out in the end." I couldn’t help thinking to myself with a secret sigh.

At the same time, the one question that I had been struggling with was also solved.

"If this can help people, then I should share the knowledge regardless of the consequences."
