Aisha and Moon decide to hide the true nature of their children from the public, leading to confusion and speculation among the elves. The protagonist, aware of information that could resolve the situation, chooses to remain silent due to personal complications.

"Another one is on the way?" I inquired with a sigh of helplessness.

Ultimately, this was a situation that could not be postponed.

Once it arrived, there was simply no way to halt its progression.

It was just that they seemed to be arriving in waves rather than all at once.

If everything had occurred simultaneously, it would have been considerably simpler.

However, life does not always operate in such a convenient manner.

At times, one must simply endure the challenges as they come, and that meant confronting those that were arriving presently.

Upon my return, Ariel had come back to see me.

But shortly thereafter, she had departed for the Merman Kingdom to make preparations for childbirth.

A message reached me from the Merman Kingdom, informing me that she had commenced labor.

Receiving this news, I wasted no time and proceeded directly to the Merman Kingdom, bypassing a return to the Kite Kingdom. I wished to be present should anything arise, even though I harbored a certainty that nothing significant would occur.

After all, there was a specific reason why she had chosen to return to the Merman Kingdom.

The kingdom possessed numerous facilities conducive to assisting mermaids during childbirth, and as the princess, she would not be subjected to any mistreatment. A mere summons would suffice to mobilize the Merman Kingdom's entire resources at her disposal.

Such that by the time of my arrival, the entire event had already concluded.

While I was relieved to learn that my child had been born without complications, I also sensed a peculiar atmosphere amongst everyone present. Their demeanor suggested they were withholding something from me.

The more they acted this way, the stronger my conviction grew that something was amiss.

Consequently, I finally broke the silence, saying, "Alright, cease keeping me in suspense and inform me of what has transpired."

"Well..."

A palpable hesitation emanated not only from my in-laws but also from Ariel herself.

It was as if disclosing the recent events was an immense struggle for them.

But eventually, they conveyed, "A phenomenon occurred at the very instant the child was born."

"A phenomenon?"

I was taken aback by their words, yet I also understood that no ordinary event could provoke such a reaction from them. It had to be a truly extraordinary phenomenon for them to speak of it in such a manner.

Therefore, I narrowed my eyes, fixing my gaze upon them.

"The very seas seemed to rejoice at the moment of the child's birth."

As they uttered these words, a peculiar expression settled on their faces.

Their delivery suggested a degree of uncertainty, as if they themselves were not entirely convinced by their own description. After all, what they had just stated defied logical comprehension.

"How could the seas themselves possibly celebrate the birth of an infant?"

To this question, no response was offered, as they were at a loss for words.

It appeared that whatever had transpired was so bewildering that they lacked the vocabulary to articulate it.

"Observe this."

Ultimately, it was Zyra who produced something that revealed the truth to me.

It was entirely understandable why none of them had been able to offer a coherent description.

Had Zyra not possessed this peculiar seashell capable of recording visual events, I too would have found it difficult to believe. Yet, with the evidence presented before my very eyes, denial became impossible.

"How can this be?"

No one present could muster a response to this utterance.

However, their silence was not unexpected, given their prior inability to articulate the event. If they had possessed the means to adequately respond to this question, they would not have struggled so intensely moments earlier when answering my query.

Truly, there were no words sufficient to describe the manner in which the ocean's waters had moved following the child's arrival.

After a period of contemplation, I inquired, "Do you have any knowledge of an external force that might have instigated this phenomenon?"

At this juncture, the paramount concern was to ascertain the root cause of this phenomenon. It was plausible that the child was not the instigator, but rather some other entity.

All of them responded by shaking their heads, indicating their ignorance.

It wasn't as though I had held any particular expectations from them in the first place.

This was the sort of phenomenon that bore the hallmarks of a miracle, something beyond the comprehension of ordinary individuals. It was a miracle that seemed to reside within the very domain of the gods.

As this thought crossed my mind, an idea began to form.

"It couldn't possibly be those two, could it?"

A part of me entertained the possibility that they might be involved, yet I desperately wished to believe they would refrain from such an act.

However, in the end, it turned out that someone was indeed able to offer confirmation. The Merman King held his trident, and as I gazed upon it, he suddenly confessed, "I sensed something from this artifact the instant my grandchild came into being." His admission caught me off guard, yet a part of me wasn't entirely shocked by my father-in-law's words. It seemed a certain suspicion had already taken root within me; I had already harbored the notion that they might have been connected to this affair. "Did they deliver an oracle unto you, or was it some other divine communication?" With a shake of his head, the Merman King negated my question, his gaze then settling upon me with an unusual intensity. I could already surmise what he sought from me with that particular look. Truthfully, I had anticipated this moment, sensing his altered perspective towards me compared to everyone else throughout our interactions.
