Shota's Isekai NTR Adventure Chapter 2192: You have to become stronger

Upon hearing my words, Rose and the others cast worried glances at Dorothy. However, she appeared far more composed than anticipated.
Dorothy's expression remained completely unruffled, as if she had just received the most ordinary news imaginable.
But then again, this reaction was understandable, considering we wouldn't simply let those responsible go unpunished.
If they dared to target our daughter, it was only right that we dealt with them accordingly.
Seeing that she required no special comfort, I continued, "Regarding everyone else, I've managed to persuade them that Dorothy's power still holds significant value. For the time being, they've agreed to let her remain under my protection."
With that, I turned to Dorothy, a sense of apology in my gaze.
The manner in which I had spoken made it seem as though Dorothy was merely a pawn, a tool to be utilized.
"I don't mind at all," she replied, a genuine smile gracing her lips.
I could sense her understanding of my strategy, yet a pang of guilt lingered for treating her in such a way. Nevertheless, this was the necessary course of action at this moment.
Once assured that Dorothy was alright, Rose inquired, "What is our next move?"
All eyes turned to me for an answer, but I remained silent for a moment, my brow furrowed in deep contemplation.
Truthfully, I was uncertain of our path forward either.
I had some rudimentary ideas, but no concrete plans had yet taken shape.
The prevailing circumstances made it exceedingly difficult to formulate a clear strategy.
Yet, this was not a situation that could afford to be postponed; the urgency was palpable.
After a prolonged silence, I finally spoke, "For now, your sole focus must be on strengthening yourselves and mastering control over your abilities."
As these words left my lips, I noticed frowns appearing on their faces.
Dorothy, however, did not seem to object.
She appeared merely surprised by my statement before nodding in acknowledgement.
Yet, even if Dorothy understood, the others were unlikely to share the same sentiment.
"What exactly do you mean by that?" Rose's question, though simple, carried an undertone that hinted at deeper concerns, which I would have recognized even without it.
"I cannot handle them alone. Or rather, I lack the confidence to do so," I admitted truthfully.
Their initial surprise quickly morphed into complex expressions, a multitude of emotions flashing in their eyes, the most prominent being sheer astonishment.
They had assumed I would confront the forces of Destruction by simply growing stronger myself.
"The opposing side commands divine power; I can only contend with them," I explained with a wry smile.
Another wave of silence followed, after which they slowly nodded, their expressions growing more complex, tinged now with a hint of guilt.
They looked at me with apologetic eyes, as if regretting placing such a heavy burden upon me.
With a sigh, I added, "I will do everything within my power, but I am only one person. It's not feasible for me to accomplish everything alone. Therefore, I can only hope that this situation doesn't escalate to its worst possible outcome."
They all nodded in agreement, and Rose then stated, "Just do what you can."
This single sentence encapsulated the collective sentiment.
Dorothy, meanwhile, seemed invigorated by the prospect of her own growth.
It appeared her recent experiences had instilled in her a newfound confidence.
"Why are you acting like this?"
"Leave it to me!" Dorothy declared, patting her chest with one hand.
"Aren't you concerned about losing control?" I asked, my tone serious.
"As long as you and all my mothers believe in me, I won't lose control," Dorothy affirmed with conviction, causing us all to feel a twinge of embarrassment.
Yet, her resolve seemed genuine.
Her words suggested she had discovered something about her powers that would allow her to manage them to a certain extent. This was a positive development, though it left us with mixed feelings.
"My child, you don't need to fight if it's not necessary. Protecting you is the responsibility of adults," I said, gently patting Dorothy's head.
Everyone echoed my sentiment.
Dorothy listened to our words in silence before adding, "But I want to protect all of you too."
Rose stepped forward, scooping Dorothy into her arms, and said, "It's wonderful that you feel that way, but let us fulfill our roles as parents."
We all nodded in agreement as Rose held her close.
Dorothy's expression conveyed understanding and a desire for childlike protection, yet a facet of her still yearned to shield everyone. Nevertheless, her consideration was sufficient. "For the moment, concentrate solely on mastering your abilities. We must demonstrate your command over it before any further action can be taken." Upon hearing this, Dorothy offered a determined nod.
