A surging power then erupts from within, threatening to shatter his body, but he suppresses it until it peaks and recedes on its own. His senses overload before sharpening to new heights, filling him with confidence to exact revenge on War, as he notices the statue's facial mosaic has weakened slightly.

Though I possessed some notion of the God of Creation's immense power, it held no significance whatsoever.

Before the God of Creation, I amounted to nothing more than a mere ant.

Therefore, in the meantime, I needed to continuously strengthen myself to devise an escape from their schemes.

"What is it?" I questioned them, yet both stayed silent, keeping their intense stares fixed on me.

They appeared to have stumbled upon a threat they deemed hazardous, prompting their current wary gazes toward me.

Ultimately, however, she lowered her head and nuzzled affectionately against me.

Her heightened senses evidently struggled more with adapting to my transformation than Joan had.

Once they adjusted to it, their eyes turned inquisitive, pondering the cause. Yet, providing a clear explanation eluded me.

Though they seemed eager for details, both nodded to indicate their acceptance.

"How do we get out of here?"

This explained the difficulty we faced in locating an exit from this area.

After pondering our circumstances, I arrived at this frantic resolution.

Riding on Lupus' back through the city had already given me a solid sense of its enormous scale. The majority of structures here remained unexplored, harboring countless uncertainties.

What assurance did we have of discovering an escape before old age overtook us...

At my urging, Lupus transported us back to the central temple as before.

At first, no changes occurred, but suddenly a glowing path materialized—one identical to the earlier trail that had guided us to the God of Creation’s statue.

Even so, I held faith that she was directing us toward a helpful destination.

We lacked any alternative if she failed to reveal a route.

Regarding our intended destination, I remained completely ignorant.

Even the building's outer facade offered no clues about where she was taking us.
