After subduing the aggressive dinosaurs and erecting a barrier wall, the group watched the smaller ones retreat or hide in observation. They examined the unconscious beasts, confirming they lacked mana and matched ancient creatures from another world. Tension rose as the dinosaurs awoke and tried to flee, only to be trapped by a magic barrier amid debates over killing them. A mysterious voice suddenly pleaded, 'Please let them go,' catching everyone off guard as they searched for its source.

With that thought in mind, I lifted the hand bearing the Mark of God on its back.

Yet even as the Mark of God unleashed its divine power, no reaction came at all.

The silence hung so heavily that it felt like the voice from before had vanished entirely.

At the same time, though, it seemed as if they were anticipating something from our group.

After a brief pause, I turned my gaze to the magicians who still held their staffs high, waiting for their move.

From the look I gave them, they quickly understood my command, but hesitation flickered in their eyes as they met my stare.

Uncertain of the threats lurking nearby, they dreaded increasing the danger by freeing those dinosaurs.

"Let them go." My voice came out steady and resolute.

At my words, the magicians gradually lowered their staffs, dropping the barrier that confined the dinosaurs.

The dinosaurs seemed puzzled at first, but soon they sensed the barrier's absence and their newfound freedom. Realizing they could escape, they scattered in every direction without a second thought.

As they fled, their glances back at us were unmistakable.

Fear dominated their eyes, yet resentment lingered there too. If given the chance, they would surely retaliate against us.

I ignored it all, even as the others shot me looks that pressured me for this choice.

With every dinosaur gone, the silence returned just like before.

We felt duped by whatever hid out there, still concealed even after we'd freed their "hostages."

Finally, though, they revealed themselves.

Their sudden appearance left us completely stunned.

Not their looks surprised us, but the overwhelming numbers of them.

We were utterly encircled by them—and that barely captured it, since the horde of elementals dwarfed the combined might of the other four tribes.

This spot clearly housed more elementals than anywhere else.

It made a certain sense, given the type of elementals they were.

These elementals burst from the surrounding bushes, taking shapes of flowers and various plants.

Their plant-like forms made their nature blatantly clear.

Still, it clashed with my expectations, considering the lightning crackling overhead.

"Why would the opposite of plants or wood be lightning? That really doesn’t make any sense at all..."

After emerging steadily for some time, the elementals finally ceased appearing.

By then, they outnumbered us by a factor of ten.

They could have overwhelmed and buried us in an instant if they'd charged, which left the others visibly uneasy at this massive display.

Once no more poured from the bushes, that familiar voice rang out again: "Thank you for showing them mercy. I know that we are asking a lot of you since they were the ones that attacked you first, but they are necessary to keep the balance of this fragile ecosystem that we live in."

"I’m sure that you’re more worried about that than us." I replied calmly.

Silence followed my words at first, but the wood elementals eventually answered.

"You’re right about that, but doesn’t that change with your appearance?" A sigh escaped them initially, followed by a tone brimming with hope.

Evidently, like the other elemental tribes, they'd received a prophecy about this. Thus, they recognized me and understood my purpose here.

With that in mind, I declared, "Then I don’t think that there’s a need to waste any time, right? How about you show me to the source and I’ll take a look to see what I can do."

Nothing but silence greeted me, drawing a frown from my face.

I sensed this quiet hid something ominous, as their prolonged hush suggested an awkward secret.

I couldn't pinpoint it precisely, but whatever they concealed felt crucially important.

In the end, some complication loomed ahead.

"Take me to the source." This time, it wasn't a request.

I proclaimed it outright.

The surrounding wood elementals showed no immediate response, but I held my tongue, awaiting their action.

After yet another drawn-out silence, a cluster of flowers emerged from the bushes and approached us, unveiling their authentic forms.

A bizarre expression crept onto my face as I observed their advance.

Truth be told, these wood elementals possessed a truly odd appearance.

The flower served as the head, while roots and stem formed the body.

Resulting in a most peculiar physique...
