Thus, these flame elementals served as the leaders of this village.
Just like before, they regarded me with doubt about my identity. However, that suspicion quickly faded once I presented the rock and the Mark of God on my hand.
Upon witnessing these items, no room remained for their skepticism.
After all, no stronger evidence existed than what I offered.
"We’ve been waiting for you for a long time."
The leading elder in this group uttered these words after verifying my identity. This echoed precisely what the rock elementals' elder had declared.

The flame elemental elder displayed a hint of astonishment at this query, but soon seemed to grasp the situation.
"So you’ve already met others like us? That’s why you aren’t surprised at all?"
In reply, I lifted the rock gifted by the rock elementals.
Observing this, the flame elemental elder showed an expression resembling a smile before commenting, "Right, I almost forgot about that."
Then, as if clarifying, the elder added, "Well, you’ve just given us too much to be surprised about that I forgot about it."
This elder differed greatly from the rock elemental elder.
That one had been quiet and reserved, speaking only when essential.
Conversely, this elder appeared impulsive and fond of conversation.
Could it stem from being a flame elemental instead of a rock one?
Maybe their elemental natures shaped their temperaments...
No matter the reason, the priority now lay in handling the essential matters.
"So where is the thing that I’m supposed to charge up?"
The elder showed surprise again at these words, but then a grin formed on its face as it replied, "So you’ve already taken care of this before, then that makes things much easier."
Right after speaking, it pivoted and began walking away, signaling for me to trail along.
I remained silent and proceeded after the flame elemental elder.
With the elder's acceptance of me, the other flame elementals gradually warmed up too.
From beyond the flowing lava streams, they peered at me with evident curiosity.
I too desired to discover more about the flame elementals, yet the moment wasn't right.
Currently, our immediate task involved infusing the core of this realm with the required divine energy.
Still, I hadn't anticipated being guided to such a location.
After a short trek, we reached the site harboring the source.
A volcano.
This was an active volcano spewing lava that created the rivers spreading throughout the area.
Given how the flame elementals dwelled within those lava rivers, it stood to reason that the realm's heart was a volcano. Anything else would have seemed odd.

"How do we get in?" I questioned as we neared the volcano and the intense heat emanating from it grew palpable.
This warmth proved extraordinary, far surpassing the rest of the surroundings. Moreover, it already reached temperatures lethal to ordinary humans.
Even enhanced humans would struggle to endure it for extended periods.
Only thanks to Ifrit's power did I manage to repel the heat.

The flame elementals stayed quiet initially, but then they lifted their hands, causing a lava river to split apart suddenly. This revealed an entrance beneath.
Nevertheless, hope didn't rise in me, as lava still encircled it.
It hardly appeared survivable for a human.
"Just come and take a look." The flame elemental elder instructed before advancing into the path.
Faced with this, I had little option but to accompany them. I proceeded more cautiously than before, unsure of what awaited.
Surprisingly, the heat diminished as I drew nearer to the entrance.
It felt like some enchantment warded off the warmth, much like with the lava itself.
Evidently, the creators of this domain had foreseen a visitor lacking resistance to heat and lava arriving someday.
With that in mind, I trailed them through the opening and into the volcano.
This formed a cavern descending far into the volcano's core, which only heightened my concerns anew.
After all, what lay ahead seemed destined to be a chamber brimming with magma...
