Shota's Isekai NTR Adventure Chapter 2078: Fire elementals

Once I had removed those items, I simply waited to observe what response might emerge from this location.
Yet, there appeared to be no reaction occurring at all.
This area brimmed with fire, indicating that nothing else occupied it.
Thus, the only sight that met my eyes was the blaze raging everywhere around.
It truly seemed as if absolutely nothing existed here.
That changed when I sensed a hint of divine energy.
This wasn't divine energy originating from myself, so I realized it must stem from the elementals inhabiting this realm.
Still, I couldn't pinpoint its source.
Eventually, I noticed something unusual about the surrounding flames, though I didn't discover it independently.
Ifrit was the one who alerted me to it.
Upon closer inspection, I observed additional flames present, moving in a distinct manner compared to the earlier ones. Their dance suggested a lively quality, almost as if they possessed life.
"Are you the elementals I'm meant to encounter?"
No reply came when I voiced this, but I persisted, declaring, "I'm the representative of the god sent to assist you. I don't know if you can emerge to meet me, but I'd like to discuss how I can aid you."
Following a prolonged hush, they at last unveiled themselves.
As Ifrit had indicated, the elementals manifested as the flames encircling me.
When they chose to reveal their presence, I found them fully encompassing me. Surprisingly, their numbers were quite impressive.
In such an environment, composing themselves of fire provided perfect concealment.
Without knowledge of fire, one couldn't discern the subtle shifts nearby. Even with such understanding, spotting them proved challenging.
After all, distinguishing the flame elementals from the ambient flames was difficult.
They were flames, through and through...
Only their slight alterations allowed me to differentiate the flame elementals from ordinary fire.
"You're the god's representative?" One flame elemental advanced, seemingly as the spokesperson for the others, and posed this query.
I responded with a straightforward nod, then lifted the hand bearing the Mark of God.
Unlike the rock elementals, this flame elemental lacked the boldness to near the Mark of God I extended.
They merely observed it with apparent cautious stares, though discerning expressions was tough amid their ever-shifting fiery forms.
Rock elementals' emotions were simpler to read, being solid masses unlike these flickering flames.
"Is there an issue?" I inquired, noting their hesitant gaze toward my hand.
A brief silence hung in the air before the flame elemental replied, "You carry the aura of a spirit, yet claim to be the god's representative?"
A wry smile crossed my lips at these words, and I explained, "Without that spirit's power, I couldn't endure this place. It's solely due to that spirit's protection that I remain unscathed here."
I continued, "Naturally, you sense this is authentic. If it were counterfeit, would it emanate such divine energy?"
The flame elemental remained silent initially, but gradually approached to examine the Mark of God on my hand's back.
It avoided contact, aware of the danger, yet drew near for a better view. As it neared, the intense heat radiating from it became palpable.
Were it not for Ifrit's influence, that scorching warmth would have incinerated me.
Satisfied with its inspection, the flame elemental raised its gaze to me and declared, "Accompany us to the village."
Though vigilance persisted, this sufficed for the moment.
Upon arriving at the village and the site requiring my aid, verifying my identity would prove straightforward.
Guided by the flame elementals, we soon arrived at a spot far more sweltering than our starting point. This area teemed with varied flames, all belonging to flame elementals.
It echoed my initial arrival at the rock elementals' village.
However, this settlement differed from that rocky one.
Rather than rock structures, these flame elementals dwelled within lava streams, intensifying the local heat.
Another distinction lay in the scale.
Unlike the rock elementals' miniaturized village tailored to their stature, this one matched human proportions.
For the flame elementals stood as tall as average humans.
Consequently, their village rivaled a typical human settlement in size.
Though no human could survive such conditions.
Any attempt would result in them charring instantly.
