The Star Destroyer Thunder Extreme penetrated deep into the Bright Star Sea and was detected by the Mechanical Clan's surveillance network. Lord Fadale ordered V-type Heroic-level Nightmare Beast Diluk to lead mechanical troops in interception. Thunder Extreme unleashed a barrage of missiles to tear through the defenses and deployed magnetic storm missiles to shake off the pursuers, escaping further into the region.

"Mm, push full throttle towards Heavenly Revelation Divine Country."

Calmly, Su Ming responded.

"Yes!"

Timi nodded affirmatively.

...

Several days afterward.

Second New Galaxy·Ankaniha Planet Sea.

Ripples spread across the dark starry expanse as the Star Destroyer·Thunder Extreme burst out from subspace.

Within the central control chamber.

Timi updated Su Ming.

"Lord Su Ming, we've slipped into the backlines of Heavenly Revelation Divine Country and hit the target coordinates."

"Mm, transmit the encrypted signal on this frequency."

Su Ming lifted his wrist, forwarding the prearranged signal frequency from An Ruoxue straight to Timi.

"Understood!"

Timi carried out the order without delay.

Su Ming settled into the command seat, patiently awaiting a reply.

One hour passed, then two, and before they knew it, ten hours had flown by.

No response signal reached the Thunder Extreme.

Ankaga and the crew grew weary from the long wait.

"Lord Su Ming, still no reply. Do we keep broadcasting the signal?"

Timi inquired of Su Ming with concern.

Even though Heavenly Revelation Divine Country's tech wasn't top-tier, making detection improbable in theory, repeated transmissions carried substantial danger.

"No need. Something must have gone wrong."

A serious look crossed Su Ming's face as he spoke.

"What now, then? How do we track them down?"

Timi questioned gently.

"Set course for Kamoto Planet·Canite Base City."

After a brief think, Su Ming instructed.

"Understood!"

Timi swiftly initiated the maneuvers.

...

A few hours on.

The Thunder Extreme wove past asteroid after asteroid, arriving at Kamoto Planet, piercing its murky gray atmosphere, and touching down in the barren lands beyond Canite Base City.

Canite Base City appeared via the optical scanners.

The whole place looked ancient and rundown.

"Boss, why are we hitting this dump?"

Zhang Yi peered at the shabby base city and asked curiously.

"To find someone. You all remain aboard the ship."

Su Ming rose from the command chair, speaking to Zhang Yi and the rest.

"Shouldn't we go with you?"

Ankaga voiced his worry.

"No, my Symbiotic Armor lets me go invisible; solo action is easier. I'll call if trouble hits."

Su Ming assured the pair.

"Alright!"

Ankaga and others agreed with nods.

Su Ming spun around and exited the central control room.

...

Shortly thereafter.

Fully encased in Dragon Scale Armor with stealth engaged, Su Ming materialized atop a decrepit structure in Canite City.

From the rooftop, he scanned the cityscape.

Dirty, tattered beggars littered the streets everywhere.

Just a handful of shops dotted the roads, barely open.

Guards in obsolete exoskeleton armor strutted arrogantly. Any civilian in their way got booted aside amid streams of curses.

"Old fools!"

...

Su Ming eyed the guards' faces—none familiar.

These weren't his people, meaning the city's rulers had shifted.

Su Ming let out a soft breath, leaped from the building, and dashed toward a sewer access point.

Over half an hour passed.

Su Ming threaded through the sewers with skill, arriving at the hidden underground dwellings.

The subterranean zone stood deserted, devoid of any life.

Su Ming's spirits dipped a bit; he fired up the scanner and spotted the group clustered in the central plaza.

He hurried straight to the plaza.

In the central square.

Wicket, Jieva, and the others, clad in shabby rags like the civilians, knelt devoutly before a statue, pleading earnestly.

"God, reveal yourself!"

"Aid your devoted followers, please."

...

The masses kept prostrating before the statue nonstop.

From the shadows in one corner, Su Ming observed the deepening reverence of the bowing throng. Then he stepped up to their revered statue, dropped his armor's concealment, and showed his face.

Wicket and company jolted in shock; spotting the armored figure in cutting-edge symbiotic gear, terror gripped their features.

"Have we been discovered?"

No wonder Wicket and the rest panicked—such high-tech armor marked one as a Heavenly Revelation Divine Country general usually.

Su Ming then shed the armor mask, grinned, and declared.

"It's me!"

"Lord Su Ming!"

"Really you?"

...

Wicket and the group rushed over in delight.

"Stay calm, it's clearly me, but why skulk down here? Where's the King’s Army and Divine Word Legion? Why no sign of them?"

Su Ming questioned smilingly.

Hearing Su Ming, Wicket and others grew quiet.

"Wicket, tell me what's truly occurred?"

Su Ming pressed Wicket.

"My lord, here's the situation! Right after you departed, the Fanluo God Emperor flew into a fury and sent massive forces to completely surround us. Those scoundrels Misak and Froco, the two traitors, actually teamed up with Dusaka Vice Archbishop to assist in the blockade. We took devastating losses, our breathing room shrinking by the moment. In the end, a betrayer surfaced inside the Divine Word Legion, allowing Heavenly Revelation Divine Country to encircle our forces. The King’s Army rushed in with reinforcements to save us, yet the foe cunningly used Chilami to trap them too. In the final outcome, Emkaine Bishop fell into capture, the Divine Word Legion broke apart, and numerous members perished or scattered in flight."

Wicket recounted to Su Ming in utter dejection.

"What? The King’s Army got surrounded as well? Did they break free in the end?"

Su Ming's heart lurched, and he hurriedly questioned.

"No idea. After that day's rout, we got forced back."
