Geteri, Aus, and Agolotto coordinated a fierce assault on Mo Xiu's Thunder Angel, striking it with beams and an anti-matter missile that left the mecha severely damaged and stalled. As they advanced to finish him off, Mo Xiu activated the Genetic Lock within Thunder Angel, causing it to surge with red lightning and distort the surrounding space. He unleashed Thunder Purgatory to ensnare the attackers, paralyzing their mechas, then clashed intensely with Agolotto's empowered Black Soul, ultimately slicing the pseudo-VI generation biological mecha in half amid a catastrophic explosion.

The sight was observed by Aus and Geteri, who hastily guided their mechas into a retreat, yelling commands to their underlings in terror.

"Go!"

Masses of mecha-piloting troops rushed ahead straight at Mo Xiu.

With Thunder Angel under his command, Mo Xiu lifted the Thunder Pattern Blade for a wide slash.

A torrent of lightning raged out right away, wiping out a huge swath.

Yet the Dark Star Empire's warriors pressed on endlessly like swarming insects, endless waves throwing themselves forward to hinder Mo Xiu.

Geteri guided Demon Hunter away from the fight, then glanced back at Mo Xiu's rampage with a darkened face. Even though they held the advantage at present, things looked dire since the people from Sky Dome City battled more fiercely with each moment, refusing to break apart. They could hold out until the very end, causing massive casualties.

Even so, Geteri activated the open comms link, mocking Mo Xiu.

"Mo Xiu, Thunder Angel is indeed formidable, and we can't deal with you, but your subordinates will soon be wiped out, and then you'll be alone."

"Bastard!"

Geteri was obviously trying to rile him up, Mo Xiu realized, yet the truth in Geteri's words rang clear—the Third Legion teetered on the brink of defeat.

Just then, an alarm blared from their scanner.

"Alert: Large-scale spatial disturbance detected!"

Shock hit Mo Xiu, Geteri, and the rest, prompting everyone to whip around and stare.

The Legendary Level Star Destroyer·Void along with additional vessels burst from subspace, swiftly unsealing their launch bays.

Endless mechas poured forth from within.

Geteri eyed the green markers on the scanner and erupted in wild laughter.

"Haha, our reinforcements arrived, it seems you're doomed today."

Despair plunged Mo Xiu's spirits into the depths, a wave of powerlessness washing over him, etched in a sour grimace.

But right then, fresh green blips flared on the scanner display, and spotting them left Mo Xiu briefly frozen before he grinned and replied.

"Oh really? Why don't you take a good look."

Stunned themselves, Geteri and his allies hurriedly scanned the display, discovering hordes of red indicators trailing the green ones, prompting cries of astonishment.

"What's happening?"

"Our reinforcements arrived too, seems your intercept failed."

A grinning Mo Xiu declared.

...

Central command aboard the Legendary Level Star Destroyer·Void.

Sakari received Novkate's report.

"Sir, it's not good—the Federation's fleet trailed us, as if they've pieced together our scheme."

"What does it matter if they uncovered it? Better that they followed. Mo Xiu and his lot should be nearly wiped out by Aus and the others, then we'll join them to destroy the Federation's reinforcements."

An unconcerned Sakari responded.

"Sir, you're wise."

Novkate shot back swiftly.

In that instant, a comms invite from Geteri flashed on the ops panel.

"Sir Sakari, Deputy Corps Commander Geteri requests a line."

Novkate informed Sakari.

"Answer it!"

Sakari commanded in an icy tone.

"Yes!"

Novkate actioned it without delay.

Geteri's hologram popped up at once, blasting Novkate in fury.

"Novkate, what the hell are you doing! Why did you bring the Federation's forces here?"

"Haven't you dealt with Mo Xiu yet?"

Novkate countered, his face clouding over.

"It's not that easy!"

Geteri snapped back in rage.

Then Sakari advanced, fixing Geteri with a chilly stare as he uttered.

"Useless!"

"Sir Sakari, let me explain—we're just about to deal with Mo Xiu."

Geteri responded in fright at Sakari's appearance.

"Redirect some of your troops here."

Sakari barked the directive straight at Geteri.

"Ah, yes!"

Though reluctant, Geteri wouldn't defy Sakari's command.

Having given the order, Sakari severed the connection and headed for the transit deck.

....

Amid the stars.

Mo Xiu accessed the broadcast channel, rallying his battle-worn allies.

"Brothers, our reinforcements arrived—time for a counterattack!"

"Yes!"

Sky Dome City's warriors, brimming with fire, roared with enthusiasm.

At once, every vessel and unit launched a fierce pushback.

The near-ruinous standoff flipped to a firm hold.

Geteri's forces faced the direst straits, diverting a major group to back Sakari, easing the strain on Mo Xiu's position immensely.

Now Sakari steered Blade of Death from the Legendary Level Star Destroyer·Void, scowling at Su Ming and the team as he continued.

"Follow me!"

Hordes from the Mechanical Army trailed Sakari, surging at Su Ming and company.

On the flip side, Su Ming, Sigurd, and Hayes directed their Mech Formation, charging hard against the Dark Star Empire's ranks.

The rival Mech Formations closed in fast, arraying for clash.

Three Pseudo-VI Generation Biological Mecha·Dark Devourer hovered ahead under Sakari's lead.

Su Ming, Sigurd, and Hayes soared in front, eyeing Sakari and his group with solemn intent.

"Leave Sakari for me to contain—the rest I entrust to you."

Hayes stated gravely.

"No need—leave Sakari to me!"

Su Ming maneuvered Ilyas past Hayes.

"Are you sure? He's the Royal Knight Order Commander·Sakari!"

Hayes reeled in surprise. Though tales of Su Ming's exploits had reached him, marking the young man as a rising star, Sakari stood as an elite force.
