Amon orchestrates a plan to create a hidden underground chamber by using specialized beasts to dig, then destroys the factory above to conceal it. He plants explosive and fire talismans to cover their tracks and ensure the cavern remains hidden. Meanwhile, he tasks Zee Whang and Duan Jang with reinforcing the cavern and investigating a pendant that detects mental power and infernal energy. Following the incident, Amon uses mind practitioners to gauge the Holy Temple's investigation, finding they have no leads on his involvement but are searching for the missing Inquisitor Lei Xiang.
