Anon Agriel wakes up in an unfamiliar, dark room, his body severely injured and his system locked. He is on an altar in a circular room, attended by a blonde man named Douglas R. Ornio, the avatar of Rupert, God of Wisdom. Douglas reveals he summoned Anon's soul into this new body to prevent Anon from becoming a god, which the other gods fear. Douglas, raised his whole life to fight Anon, expresses his humiliation at this purpose. He claims to know everything about Anon's past.
