As an endless horde of undead monsters overwhelmed the city, the King of Evercraft berated his cowardly nobles. With his son Gimli, he then infused the castle with their auras, transforming it into a colossal steampunk golem. This ancient dwarven war machine, a 'Surface Cleaner,' rose to meet the threat, crushing monsters and bosses with devastating force.

He burst into a grand, triumphant laugh. Even amidst the surrounding chaos and despair, he could not contain his celebration. The efforts of his predecessors had not been in vain.

A weapon originally designed to slaughter other dwarves had been modified, reinforced, and upgraded into Evercraft’s ultimate guardian.

The Lichlord roared with pure hatred. His army of undead began fusing together as he raised a large purple orb high. Grand necromancy surged forth, and a colossal Netherborn Titan materialized before him.

The massive dwarven machine and the gigantic Netherborn Titan collided violently. Explosions of shattered bones and twisted metal erupted across the battlefield as cannons fired and waves of decaying breath swept outward.

Yet in the end, the Netherborn Titan exploded and collapsed.

"Tsk, that was not everything... Huhuh... just watch!" the Lichlord sneered.

He had already spread his Domain across the entire battlefield. The bosses that had been slain earlier, whose souls and bodies had not been completely vaporized, began to rise once more. His dark power took hold of them, transforming the fallen into massive undead versions of themselves. Roaring with newfound strength, they became his obedient slaves.

"Go! Destroy that thing! Bring me the king of the dwarves!" the Lichlord commanded, laughing maniacally.

The zombified bosses charged forward with terrifying roars. They attacked, climbed, and tore at the dwarven titan. The Lichlord’s scythe slashed through the air, shattering the protective barrier in a single strike. This pushed the dwarves back even further as more and more monsters swarmed them.

"Get off the giant!"

Luck rushed into the fray, slashing furiously at the monsters and easing the burden on the king and his son. As the swarm surrounding the titan fell or was thrown down, the massive machine finished them off with powerful weapons and crushing stomps.

"Thank you, kid!" the king’s voice boomed. "Do not worry. Even now, when things look dire, reinforcements are on their way!"

"Reinforcements?" Luck asked, his eyes widening in surprise.

At that exact moment, the castle shook violently. A large group of monsters, led by ten powerful bosses from Floors 35 to 45, burst out of the mountain and chased after the escaping survivors.

"No! They are targeting the people running away!"

"Tsk! Go! I will hold the front here!"

"...Okay!"

As Luck rushed outside to help, the Lichlord refused to let him escape. The space around Luck warped suddenly, and he was teleported away.

"Ugh? What the...?! "

He fell from the sky and stumbled into a dark realm filled with nether rivers, where undead rose endlessly. A pair of glowing eyes stared down at him from the sky.

"You are not going anywhere, little hero. Stay here and play with my friends. They are all the dead citizens of this pitiful place! Hahahaha! HAHAHAHA!"

The Lichlord’s laughter echoed as he left Luck trapped inside the pocket realm. Meanwhile, he continued his assault on the Dwarf King with his ever-growing, never-ending army.

The dwarf king carved through the sea of undead, but two Netherborn Titans blocked his path. Their gigantic hands and corrosive decaying breath halted his charge.

"Hahahaha! Do not worry. Once he is tired, I shall kill him painlessly and raise him as my loyal undead!" the Lichlord taunted. "I cannot wait to use all the knowledge and experience I have gathered over thousands of years! All you damned dwarves will pay! I have already received his approval. The master says undead dwarves are acceptable too! Hahahahaha! It is coming—no, it is already here! The new era of monsters and undead! Demon Kings? Gods? None of that will matter once we spread our forces across the world! I will forge my own Undead Kingdom, and it will rise from the ruins of yours!"

the king roared.

His powerful aura surged through the gigantic machine. His axe, sword, lance, and hammer absorbed the golden energy and unleashed a devastating barrage of attacks. The two Netherborn Titans were decimated in moments.

The king roared again and pointed the titan’s cannons at the Lichlord, firing beams and missiles. But every attack simply phased through the Lichlord’s spectral body.

"What the...?!"

"HAHAHAHA! Foolish old man, do you not know one of the most basic abilities of a Lichlord like myself is to become untouchable?" the Lichlord mocked. "You cannot beat me! Now kneel before your new king!"

Laughing wildly, the Lichlord fused dozens of undead bosses into a single massive monstrosity.

"Rise, my greatest creation! Great Abomination of the Abyss!"

The colossal creature formed a gigantic hand made of countless fused bosses. Their combined powers erupted into a devastating blast that blew off one entire arm of the giant castle golem in seconds.

"Damn it!"

"Father, we lost an arm!!!"

"I know, son! But that is fine too! Switch it to remote control!"

The severed arm that had fallen to the ground suddenly activated on its own. It transformed into a specialized mechanical golem and charged at the aberration’s legs, tearing into them with powerful lasers and its sword-like body.

The Lichlord clicked his nonexistent tongue and swiftly cast an empowerment spell, increasing the titan’s power tenfold.

"How about this?! It is definitely a Tier 12 undead now! Hahahahaha!"

The Great Abomination of the Abyss roared and mutated further. It grew tentacles, aberrant eyes, and jaws all over its body. It became twice as large after devouring the nether energy from the Lichlord, reaching a height that nearly matched the five-hundred-meter-tall titanic golem.

Tentacles rapidly wrapped around the giant machine. Powerful magic of every element rained down alongside brutal physical strikes, relentlessly pushing the dwarven titan backward.

The king and his son panicked as they combined their strength to control the castle golem with greater dexterity.

"Son! Is the Second Form ready yet?!"

"What?! No! It is not even halfway complete. It is far too experimental—the entire thing could blow up before it fully transforms!"

"Damn it, what other options do we have then? Cool down the rear area... They captured the heroes and now this... what can we do?!"

The king clenched his teeth, realizing that reinforcements might not arrive in time.

Suddenly—

A bright lance of holy, divine power pierced straight through the Abomination. Its entire body exploded into ashes and vaporized instantly.

"Eh?"

"Huh...?"

Both the king and the prince stared in dumbfounded awe. In a single moment, their greatest threat had been completely erased.
