After returning from the dungeon, the protagonist and her family decide to enjoy the rest of the day. When the topic of missing friends comes up, her mother reveals that Arafunn is returning soon, causing excitement among the group. The chapter ends with the protagonist being playfully teased about her height.

"W-What?!" I exclaimed, genuinely bewildered. "Good heavens, is that really a thing? Why would you even give me that definition?!"

"It was merely present within my data storage. It's a concept frequently encountered in human societies," the AI explained. "It's quite remarkable how widely it has permeated numerous worlds populated by humans."

"Ugh..." With a weary sigh, I shook my head. "Whatever. Moving on! Alright, shall we finally make our way to the blasted beach?"

"Totally, let's gooooo!" Lara cheered, hopping onto my back and then climbing atop my shoulders.

"Hey! Hahaha!" I laughed, trying to keep my balance. "Get down from there! W-Why are you exposing your panties?!"

"Eeek! Sylphy, you pervert!" she shrieked with laughter, quickly leaping away and darting playfully before suddenly jumping off a cliff.

"Did you have to look...?" Aquarina inquired, her expression tinged with annoyance.

"D-Don't fault me for it. My gaze went upward, and there she was. What was I supposed to do?" I sighed. "Hold on, why are you even upset? We've shared baths with the girls for ages. We're often all undressed together, Aquarina."

"...I suppose you have a point," she conceded, shaking her head. "Was Lara attempting some sort of jest?"

"She's just being her eccentric self. Who gives a darn," I shrugged. "Let’s depart now!"

"Perhaps I ought to start wearing skirts and dresses..." she mused aloud.

"A-Are you contemplating flashing your panties at me next?!" I sputtered, shocked. "Not everything is a competition, Aquarina..."

"I mean, wouldn't that be delightful?"

"..."

After a moment of consideration, I gave a slight nod.

"Indeed, I believe you would look absolutely stunning in dresses and skirts..." I affirmed. "However, your shorts are quite lovely as well."

"No, no, I genuinely wish to embrace a more feminine style of dress too," she clarified. "Alright, we shall go shopping for some dresses later."

"Ahaha? Alrighty then, sounds like a plan," I replied with a shrug. "Just promise we're going already!"

I gently pulled her and the rest of my companions towards the beach. Our parents appeared equally delighted. Shade and Nepheline visibly relaxed, their laughter and smiles frequent as they soaked in the warm sun and gentle breeze.

The rich aroma of nature was potent and profoundly restorative. As we neared the ocean's edge, the rhythmic sound of waves breaking upon the immaculate white sand filled the air.

"We're nearly there...!" Lara announced.

"Almost, almost!" Celica chimed in with excitement. "Zephy!"

"I am aware. I too am eagerly anticipating it," my brother confirmed with a nod.

"Perhaps I should select a charming swimsuit?" Celica pondered aloud.

"Oh?!" My brother gasped, his eyes widening suddenly. "Y-You will?"

"Perhaps?" Celica giggled charmingly, giving him a playful wink.

My goodness, I hadn't realized she possessed such seductive charm... My brother is truly a fortunate young man.

"We've arrived! Ooohhh! What a magnificent ocean!" My father exclaimed with a hearty laugh, parting the final dense foliage to reveal the expansive sea stretching before us.

"It's the sea!!!" Lara, Mist, Celeste, and even Celica cried out in unison.

"T-The ocean... I've never witnessed such a sight before," Ruby whispered, her voice soft. She had remained rather quiet throughout the journey, much like my other friends. "Wow... I mean, this entire world is so vastly different from the mountains and that peculiar dungeon..."

"This is the world I brought into existence!" I declared, taking her hand. "Come along, let's go!"

"Y-Yes!" she agreed with a cute nod, her apprehension gradually dissipating as we dashed towards the cerulean, crystal-clear sea.

The fine white sand felt exceptionally soft against our bare feet. We discarded our boots and ran, splashing into the cool seawater, casting glances back at the immense jungles and the colossal roots of Yggdra that extended far into the ocean's depths.

"Last one in is a stinky rotten egg!" Lara shouted with glee as she sprinted towards the water, diving in with a splash. "Wowowowowow! So frigid! Awaaaah!"

Her laughter echoed even as shivers wracked her body from the abrupt temperature change.

"Here we come, Aquarina!"

"Indeed!"

"Ruby, you too!"

"O-Okay!"

Despite appearing exceptionally nervous, Ruby, bolstered by our encouragement, mustered the courage to plunge directly into the seawater.

A cascade of water erupted as we immersed ourselves in the chilly ocean.

So cold!

Yet, paradoxically, incredibly invigorating on such a sweltering day.

And the clarity was astonishing, impeccably clear!

Opening my eyes beneath the surface, I gazed in wonder at the sprawling, vibrantly colored coral reefs. Yggdra’s formidable roots plunged deep into the seabed, adorned with countless varieties of algae and corals clinging to its ancient wood.

An incredible array of marine life teemed within, creatures of every imaginable shape and hue. Gigantic white sharks, massive tunas, formidable king crabs, and... a substantial number of monsters.

The majority of this underwater ecosystem comprised monstrous beings. All manner of creatures and beasts commingled, occasionally preying upon one another.

And when they regarded us... it was evident they perceived us as rather appetizing.

"Woah?!"

As I attempted to ascend back towards the surface, a colossal tentacle coiled around my legs, inexorably dragging me deeper.

Looking down in astonishment, I witnessed a colossal Giant Deep-Sea Kraken materialize without warning close to the coastline.

This immense, dark-red octopus monster stood twenty meters tall. My attempt to subdue it using my Dungeon Master authority proved futile, however.

Could this be due to its current status as a divine realm?

This imposing creature had transcended its status as a mere monster, evolving into a pseudo-divine beast.

Furthermore, it emanated a palpable spiritual energy.

Was this the reason for its Tier 8 classification?

Taking a steadying breath, I spun within the water, my dragon claws slicing through the encroaching tentacles and liberating me from their grasp.

I then leaped back to the shore alongside the others, but the colossal entity pursued, its massive appendages relentlessly chasing after me.

"Woah?! It’s coming!!!" I exclaimed in surprise.

"What the hell?!" Aquarina shouted, her shock evident.

"That thing’s massive!" Celeste cackled.

"No way!" Lara declared.

"Careful!" Mist cautioned.

"Run!" Celica yelled as she bolted away.

"Don’t worry, I will take it down!" I proclaimed. "Scarlet!"

Channeling my Yggdragon Aura into Scarlet, I remotely guided her, launching her downwards like a radiant, piercing meteor.

The gargantuan kraken was immediately impaled. Its form erupted in a conflagration of flames, thunder, and winds, while a layer of ice briefly encased that segment of the ocean.

"That was incredible, Scarlet!" I complimented with a nod.

"I live to serve you, Master!" Scarlet announced, emerging from the sea.

"Glutton, consume the remainder!" I commanded.

"Warf!" Glutton barked, instantly devouring the ice and all else, depositing it into my inventory.

"Thanks!" I gratefully acknowledged, inspecting the spoils. "Hmm, its head was obliterated, but the tentacles are largely intact. We might be able to do something with them later. Perhaps grill them all."

Remarkably, I even gained some EXP after vanquishing the giant kraken, a surprising turn of events. Usually, I couldn't acquire EXP through such means. Were the beasts manifesting in these divine realms no longer integral extensions of my being? Or perhaps they had fallen under a different dominion... Regardless, this presented a potential advantage for me!
