Garius and Giddie demonstrate their mastery of new mana, assessing its limitations. Garius reveals Gorak and Jaigar wield different mana due to their distinct Abyss Spirits. He then tasks Javier with training his seventh wife in the continent's mana system within three days, preparing him for an upcoming legal and diplomatic matter concerning Lord Zurakan's impending complaint. Garius anticipates an old friend will be drawn in as a mediator, complicating the situation.

At the same time.

Other Continent.

A small town on the outskirts of the Divinity Nation.

The town was modest, with small buildings lining the cobblestone roads. Farmers hauled carts of produce, merchants shouted their wares, and children ran through the alleys. It was a simple, humble place, far from the grandeur of the royal capital.

Julius stood inside the room of one of the official buildings, his golden armor gleaming under the dim light. His face was twisted with disgust as he glared down at the Divinity official kneeling before him.

"You expect me, the Supreme Leader of all summoned heroes, to visit this filthy, run-down shithole!?" Julius’s voice boomed, echoing inside the room. He grabbed the official by the collar and yanked him up, his eyes burning with fury.

"This place is a disgrace! The buildings are crumbling, the streets are covered in mud and shit, and the people look like they haven’t bathed in months! Do you have any idea who I am!? I am the strongest hero in existence! The one chosen by the Supreme Goddess Zeyrinda herself! And you want me to waste my precious time inspecting this pathetic excuse for a small town?"

He shoved the official to the floor, his voice dripping with venom.

"I have far more important matters to attend to than looking at a bunch of filthy peasants who can’t even afford proper clothes! As if I would ever lower myself to help these worthless maggots!"

He spat on the floor, his face filled with disgust.

Damn Garreth. I was waiting for the people I sent to give me information about Celine’s whereabouts.

And he gave me this shitty job! Saying that the people want to see the hero.

He could have chosen someone else, his sons or the other heroes, and yet he deliberately chose me.

I know this is his way of distracting me. Keeping me busy in the countryside while he hides Celine somewhere else. He thinks he’s clever. He thinks he can keep her away from me.

He wants me away from the capital, away from his precious court, away from the power I’ve been building. He’s scared of me. Scared of what I might do if I stay too close. So he throws me a bone and expects me to wag my tail like a loyal dog.

Fuck this!

I want to find Celine and fuck her hard.

And Fayna too!

I was already bored with the bitches I slept around with. Even the second queen’s pussy is boring now.

Too easy to please. They spread their legs the moment I glance at them. No fight, no resistance, no excitement. They moan and beg and worship me, enjoying how good I am in bed. There’s no thrill in breaking something that’s already broken.

I need something fresh. Something pure. Something that will actually make me feel something.

Celine, though... she was always different. The way she looked at me with those defiant eyes. She never even wanted to meet me or even talk. Not even when I requested an official audience with her. Always busy! Always with excuses.

And Fayna... the way she struggled, the way she refused to give in.

Ugh! Just a little more and I could have fucked her hard, made her surrender. Because I know.

Once any woman tastes how good my dick is, they all surrender. Just like the others.

But that damn fucking Vane came and ruined everything.

I so want to kill him! But because the Supreme Goddess said I can’t kill any of her summoned heroes, I couldn’t do anything other than sending him out toward the other continent to prepare the bases and gather information.

He glanced at the officials standing near the wall, his voice cold and commanding.

"Inform the King that I expect a proper reward for this filthy job. I didn’t come all the way to this disgusting town to play nice with peasants. I want compensation for my time and effort. And make sure he knows that I’m not pleased."

The Divinity official nodded calmly, his posture straight and composed despite the earlier humiliation. He clasped both hands behind his back and spoke in a measured, noble tone.

"Your Excellency, His Majesty King Garreth has already prepared a most generous reward for your esteemed service. It awaits your arrival at the royal capital, along with a formal letter of gratitude bearing the royal seal. His Majesty is most grateful for your willingness to grace this humble town with your presence."

"Hmm. Good." Julius clicked his tongue, his lips curling into a sneer as he turned toward the door. "Now let’s head out and meet these lowly peasants. Try not to let them dirty my armor with their filth."

The other officials followed behind him, exchanging weary glances. Some shook their heads slowly, others let out quiet, tired exhales, but none dared to speak. They simply fell into line, their footsteps soft against the wooden floor.

The moment Julius stepped out of the building, his entire demeanor shifted. The sneer vanished, replaced by a warm, radiant smile. His posture straightened, his shoulders relaxed, and his eyes softened with feigned humility. He raised one hand in a graceful wave, his golden armor catching the sunlight like a beacon of hope.

"Greetings, good people of this fine town!" His voice rang out, smooth and charismatic, carrying just the right note of warmth and sincerity. "It is my honor to stand before you today. The Supreme Goddess Zeyrinda has blessed me with the strength to protect you, and I vow to use it for your peace and prosperity. Please, do not be shy. I am here for you!"

The crowd erupted into cheers. Women swooned, children jumped with excitement, and men raised their fists in admiration. Flowers were thrown into the air, and the townspeople pressed closer, their eyes shining with adoration.

"Sir Julius! Sir Julius! Please bless my daughter!"

"Hero Julius, you’re even more handsome in person!"

"Thank you for coming to our town, Sir Julius!"

Julius continued to wave, his smile never faltering, his voice warm and inviting.

"Now, now~ There’s no need to thank me. I am merely a servant of the goddess and a protector of the people. Seeing your smiling faces is all the reward I need~"

Pathetic. Look at them. They worship me like I’m some kind of god.

All it takes is a smile and a wave, and they’re ready to lick the ground I walk on. The women are already blushing, the men are already bowing. How predictable. How boring.

Still... if I must play the hero, I might as well enjoy the attention.

Now then... let’s see if this filthy little town has anything worth my time.

He kept his radiant smile in place as he walked toward the town square. The crowd cheered louder, their excitement growing.

Children rushed forward, and Julius knelt down, patting their heads gently and laughing softly at their innocent questions.

"Sir Hero! Sir Hero! Can you show us your sword?" a young boy asked, his eyes wide with admiration.

Julius chuckled warmly, reaching down to ruffle the boy’s hair. "Of course, little one. But first, tell me your name. A hero should always know the names of the people he protects."

The boy beamed with pride. "My name is Tomas!"

"Well, Tomas," Julius said, his voice gentle and encouraging, "instead of showing you my sword, how about I give you something even better? A real blessing from the Supreme Goddess herself. This will protect you and keep you safe, no matter what dangers come your way."

The crowd erupted in applause, their hearts warmed by the hero’s kindness. Julius stood slowly, placing his palm over the boy’s head. A soft, golden glow emanated from his hand, washing over Tomas like a gentle wave of warmth.

"May the Supreme Goddess watch over you, young Tomas. May you grow strong, healthy, and blessed under her divine light."

Tomas’s eyes sparkled with awe, his face glowing with joy. "Thank you, Sir Hero! Thank you!"

Julius smiled warmly, patting the boy’s head one last time before turning to the crowd, his arms spread wide in a gesture of humility and grace.

"Let us all pray together for the goddess’s protection over this town!"

The crowd cheered louder, their devotion to Julius deepening with every passing moment.

Heh~ Look at this little brat. So happy, so grateful, so innocent.

He has no idea that the "blessing" I just gave him is nothing more than a slow, creeping curse. Within a few months, his body will begin to weaken. He’ll grow tired easily, fall ill often, and eventually waste away. Die a pathetic, useless death. And everyone will think it was just an illness.

No healer will be able to find the cause. No priest will be able to cleanse it. No one will be able to save you, shitty brat.

Because I am the strongest being in this world!
