The wives of Garius discuss their enduring love and their husband's desire for a large family. Francesca reveals she won't have more children but remains devoted to Garius, while Garcinia is pregnant. The conversation turns to the arrival of two more women Garius promised to marry, with Eridith and Mylezra anticipating a potentially volatile reaction from one of them.

Meanwhile.

Javier’s room.

Myra and Kalea were tending to Gracelle’s condition, while Mimi lounged on the couch, fully absorbed in her mana glasses.

"Ooh! That food looks incredibly appetizing, nya!" Mimi exclaimed, her gaze fixed intently on the screen.

Gracelle turned her head towards Mimi.

What could she be possibly talking about?

Her eyes scanned the room.

There was no food present.

Myra offered a gentle smile. "Alright, Miss Gracelle. Your health and condition are showing steady improvement. Your vitals are stable, and your body is responding positively to the ongoing treatment."

Gracelle's eyes sparkled with renewed hope. "So, does this mean I can eat regular food now? No more porridge?"

Kalea let out a tired sigh, a shake of her head accompanying it. "Not just yet. However, you can commence with lighter foods. You may incorporate two or three pieces of meat and other soft ingredients. Just avoid anything roasted or oily for the time being. Your stomach still requires time to adjust."

Gracelle's shoulders drooped, her lips forming a pout, a clear expression of disappointment mingled with acceptance.

"Mm... okay."

After Myra and Kalea had departed the room, Gracelle shifted her attention to Mimi.

"Mimi?"

"Nya?"

Gracelle nervously toyed with the edge of her blanket, her voice tinged with hesitation. "Umm... may I ask something?"

"Ask about what?" Mimi peered over the back of the couch towards Gracelle's bed.

"Umm... earlier, you mentioned something about... you know... food?"

"Oh?" Mimi sat up, a grin spreading across her face as she removed her mana glasses. "I was observing the Gaze City marketplace with this, nya! These mana glasses grant me the ability to see any part of the world. I can view markets, forests, cities, even extremely distant locations."

"R... really?" Gracelle's eyes widened in sheer wonder.

"Yes, nya!" Mimi made to get up from the cushion and approach Gracelle but stopped. "Nyaaa... but husband instructed that you shouldn't use this just yet. So, no~"

Gracelle's shoulders sagged once more. "Fine..." She released a long, weary breath before continuing. "But I'm feeling rather bored."

"How about we play a game, nya?"

"Blocks again?"

"You've grown tired of that?"

"Not exactly... but..." Gracelle murmured softly. "I've never managed to win against you."

"Hmm... perhaps reading a book, nya?"

Gracelle resolutely shook her head. "No... I don't feel like reading at this moment."

"Oh..." Mimi softly hummed, thoughtfully tapping her lips with a finger.

Gracelle looked around the room. "Where has your sister gone?"

"Nya? Nee-sama?" Mimi's eyes suddenly lit up with excitement. "She returned to the Beastkin Royal Palace for a few days! She mentioned wanting to check on our parents and the rest of the family, nya. You know how she is, always so strict and proper, ensuring everything is in perfect order at the palace. She's truly the ideal princess, after all."

"Are you not accompanying her?" Gracelle inquired, tilting her head with curiosity.

"Nah~ I don't wish to. Besides, I can simply contact my parents if I feel the need. And if I happen to miss them, I can just video call them, nya~"

"Bi... bideyo?"

"Pfft! N... Nyahahaha!" Mimi pointed at Gracelle, erupting in laughter. "It's video, nya. Vee-Dee-Oh~"

"Oh..." Gracelle exhaled gently, a blush rising on her cheeks due to embarrassment. "I'm still quite new to Javier's inventions, so... umm... I'm still in the learning phase."

Gracelle looked back at Mimi. "How long will Big Sister Liana and Sister Gloria be away with Javier?"

"Nya?" Mimi cocked her head. "I'm uncertain. They indicated it might take several days, or perhaps a week. It truly depends on the mission, nya. I wasn't informed of the specific mission details, but Husband-sama mentioned it was important, so I didn't press for further information."

"Why did you not go with them?"

"Nya?" Mimi pursed her lips, her eyes narrowing slightly. "They are embarking on a mission, not a leisurely sightseeing trip. Therefore, it would be incredibly boooooooring~ I detest missions. Furthermore, if I were to accompany them, it would risk exposing Husband-sama's cover, nya. So, I am remaining here~ Besides, you would feel quite lonely if I weren't around~"

Gracelle narrowed her eyes and pouted defiantly. "I will not be lonely!"

Mimi casually shrugged and was about to put her mana glasses back on when Gracelle spoke up again.

"And where is Delya?"

"Nya? Delya?" Mimi stroked her chin, her tail swaying thoughtfully. "I haven't the faintest idea, nya. Perhaps she is in the main kitchen or perhaps at the pastry pantry. That girl simply cannot resist chocolate, nya~ She's likely indulging in some sweets in secret again."

Gracelle's lips tightened once more. "I have heard so much about chocolate, yet I have never had the chance to taste it."

"That cannot be done, nya~" Mimi waggled a finger, a mischievous grin playing on her lips. "Husband-sama has strictly forbidden giving you any sweets for now."

"Mou!" Gracelle puffed out her cheeks. "There are far too many restrictions!" she hissed in clear frustration.

"Nya?" Mimi tilted her head, a teasing spark dancing in her eyes. "Big Sister Liana did mention that if you were to insist and truly desired an early demise, then by all means, go ahead~"

Gracelle's eyes widened in alarm before she puffed her cheeks out even further. "I shall not die before I get to marry Javier-sama!"

Gracelle's gaze drifted to the window, observing the sunlight piercing the glass, painting warm designs upon the floor. The garden beyond appeared so welcoming, with flowers swaying in the gentle breeze and birds darting amongst the trees.

"Mimi?"

Mimi, who had settled back onto the couch, stirred once more, lifting her chin to rest on the backrest, her ears twitching upwards. "Nya?"

"I am so bored..."

Narrowing her eyes, Mimi's tail swayed languidly. "Nyaaa~ You proclaimed you wouldn't be bored if I were present~"

Gracelle's shoulders sagged in defeat. "Mother and Father have already returned to Mathrias. Big Sis Liana and Sis Gloria are with Javier. And I'm left with nothing to do but lie in bed and count the ceiling tiles all day."

"Nya? It is merely a few weeks, perhaps a month, nya. Once you have fully recovered and resume normal eating habits, you will be free to do as you please~"

"Mimi..." Gracelle murmured, her lips forming a pout. "Could we perhaps engage in some activity?"

"Nya? You previously stated you did not wish to play games or the block game again."

"Mm... I was rather hoping... possibly... we could take a stroll outdoors? Or at the very least, within the confines of this estate?"

"Nya? Are you capable of walking for such an extended period? You remain quite frail, you know."

"Mou! Mimi! There is a wheelchair available, is there not? At least I can experience some fresh air and witness something beyond these four walls!"

Mimi tapped her chin, her gaze fixed on Gracelle in contemplation.

"Very well, if that is your wish. However, Big Sis Liana explicitly instructed not to take you too far, so we shall confine our walk to the hallway or perhaps venture to the kitchen~"

"Mm... Thank you, Mimi!" Gracelle's eyes brightened as Mimi went to retrieve the wheelchair.

"Right then! Hop aboard, junior!" Mimi declared with cheerfulness, guiding the chair towards the bedside.

Gracelle descended from the bed with deliberate, unsteady steps, finally settling into the wheelchair with a sigh of relief.

Mimi flashed a grin and began propelling the wheelchair out of the room, gently shutting the door behind them.

Once they entered the hallway, Mimi's grin took on a mischievous edge. She leaned forward and exclaimed, "Alright, nya! Full speed ahead!!"

Mimi broke into a run, her pace accelerating as she pushed the wheelchair with surprising velocity. The wheels clattered loudly against the marble flooring as they sped down the corridor.

"Mimi!!!!!!!" Gracelle shrieked, her hands gripping the armrests of the wheelchair in alarm as the wind rushed through her hair.

"Nyahahahahaha!!!" Mimi's laughter reverberated through the hall as she raced onward, her tail trailing behind her like a flag of unadulterated mischief.
