Reborn as an Extra Chapter 882: The Taste of Death, Rio Vs. Demon King! Part-2.
Previously on Reborn as an Extra...
While Rio was busy analyzing the Demon King’s skills to make them his own, the battle continued on.
Massive statues of dragons were summoned by the Demon King from the arsenal, and the moment they appeared, a powerful dragon aura force appeared in the area, creating restrictive pressure.
Aside from that, the Demon King used hundreds of staff and grimoire-type weapons to put massive debuffs on Rio’s body!
All soul-based, mental, and unusual debuffs could be nullified by ’True Immunity,’ but the Demon King was using pure physical debuffs, so ’True Immunity’ could not be triggered.
To mess with the powers of the debuff weapons, Rio used a new skill that he had derived from Liam’s ’Mana Field’ before!
Using sword intent and his impeccable control over almost all elements, Rio stirred the entire area’s elementals into complete disarray so that the debuff placed on Rio would weaken or shatter completely due to elemental rampage!
Using the various mobility enhancement artifacts, the Demon King easily closed the distance and used all four of his hands to do a powerful palm attack!
All four of his palms made a perfect ’X’ alignment as they landed on Rio’s chest with perfect sync!
Rio, who was busy reducing the power of the various debuffs, was instantly hit by the four-palm attack and was flung off into the distance while throwing up a mouthful of blood!
Now that the advantage was in his hands, the Demon King was obviously not going to let it go so easily, and he immediately launched a barrage of attacks through the strings attached to the space around Rio!
Although the Demon King wanted to attack Rio through the strings of destiny, Rio had already analyzed his combat methods by now and had copied a new skill.
Using the Demon King’s attack method of using strings of destiny and combining it with Ashtel Rex’s ’Fool Art Repulsion’ type attack’s base structure, Rio created a new skill that granted him the ability to send an attack through the strings of destiny, which could nullify incoming attacks through equal power usage!
It was complicated and difficult to even imagine for normal people, but Rio had accomplished it in just a matter of a few minutes!
"It’s still lacking a bit..."
Rio wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth with the back of his hand, and a look of fascination appeared in his eyes.
’So this is the power output of a peak SS ranker with almost maxed out ’World Authority’...’
The crown of Endless Realms was busy holding back the Demon King’s world authority, and it was actually being pushed back steadily, not because it was weak but because Nebo Dahaka’s ’World Authority’ was extremely strong and high-level!
The world authority of the crown could only be considered ’Level 5’ in terms of raw power output and ability when compared to other SS rankers.
In front of overwhelming attacks of a higher-level world authority like ’True Paradise,’ it was obvious that the Crown would be pushed back.
’I lack this overwhelming raw power output of a genuine SS ranker... the realm of ’Demi-Gods’... it’s really fascinating; the power output it grants is simply too heaven-defying!’
The main reason no one below rank SS could match up to a true Demi-god was due to this overwhelming power output granted to the individual by ascension in life level!
Once at the realm of a demi-god, a creature sheds its mortal body away, and every piece of it becomes more optimized for the usage of energy down the very atoms of its entire body.
If the power output of a peak S ranker is like a stream of river, then the SS-rankers would be like a vast ocean flowing freely in every direction with no restrictions whatsoever!
The level difference between the two was simply unfathomable!
’This is really exciting, hehe~’
Rio placed a hand on his own heart and noticed how loudly it was beating.
His heart had never been this loud aside from when kissing Lia for the first time!
Only the thrill of life-and-death combat could bring this kind of happiness and this kind of rhythmic heartbeat!
’Not enough... to taste the power of the law of death, I need more!’
For the sake of death, Rio didn’t even bother healing his injuries, which he could have easily healed, and rushed straight back into battle like a reckless berserker who only knew violence!
Using the strings of destinies as a target marking method, Rio sent powerful miasmic decay into the artifacts that were putting debuffs on his body and weakening his sword intent coating.
On the other hand, the Demon King pulled out a strange-looking dagger from his arsenal and summoned a powerful grimoire to cast spells!
A powerful space storm rose from nothingness as the Demon King cast an insanely powerful space magic that attacked the crown of the endless realms in sync with the ’True Paradise’ world authority!
By using his ’Destined Fate’ legendary skill, the Demon King actually changed his assigned ’Class’ into a ’Mage’ on the spot just because he felt like it!
This was something so insane that even Rio was shocked silly, and couldn’t find words to speak!
The only thought that appeared in Rio’s mind was,
’Destiny manipulation can be used to switch and change your ’Class’!? That’s insanity!!’
Although Rio was shocked, this new discovery made him even more fascinated at how powerful the ’Destined Fate’ legendary skill was!
