For a time Rio’s entire mind was occupied by the surge of memories, and it took a lot of effort to organize so much information.

After an entire hour, Rio finally got up from the ground, and a look of understanding flashed in his eyes.

’To think that you can actually choose to not ascend and sacrifice your ascension in order to have a ’chat’ with the ’Origin’ itself... this is some high-tier knowledge...’

’And it’s really surprising that Marik... that big fat snake actually knows so many secrets of the universe! That fellow knows everything that Ivan learned from the ’Origin’!’

’Once I reach rank SS, I will go and pay a visit to that fellow and ask him for more information...’

Talking about ascending to rank SS, Rio could now clearly feel that his body was in the most perfect state possible for ascending, and even the stats in the stat panel had all been pushed to the limit.

Now all that was needed was a proper moment and place to ascend.

Rio knew that it was impossible to recover those used fragments because he had seen the same situation with Alverto.

Alverto had used three fragments to summon the ’Spire of Ascension,’ and despite killing him, Rio never got those three fragments back.

This clearly indicated that although the powers contained in those fragments are immense, they can only be used once, and the fragment can disappear if the power inside them is used completely.

’I will have to thank the Demon King when I meet him again for giving me all this information... If I had to look for all this information myself, it might have taken me years to find out everything...’

A rare smile appeared on Rio’s usually emotionless face as he stretched his limbs a bit and then walked out of the sealed basement room.
