With hurried footsteps the group of kids made their way towards a secluded area of the forest not too far away from the settlement.

"Commander Allen, the mythical red fruits that I secured today from my parents can be distributed among the troops to boost troop morale and improve combat efficiency. Shall we proceed with it?"

Out of the three kids, one was a skinny little girl who was the medic, the fat kid was the cook,

And the one in the front with a tough body and bigger build was the vice-commander, who used to be a local bully that got tamed into being a subordinate by Allen after some thorough beatings.

The big fellow was strong and sturdy, but he had a major flaw... he was greedy and eager for quick success.

His parents had given him several apples to share with his friends today, but he was eager to eat them all by himself.

If not for the fact that he dared not defy Allen, the mighty ’Bully Killer,’ he would have already eaten them all by now!

"No, Vice-commander, we have yet to reach our secret military base; the mythical fruits are a great source of power and might attract the wild beasts roaming through this vast and majestic primordial forest!"

"We must all control our hunger at all costs; even if it means losing a bit of sanity, we must escort the precious bunker creation materials to the military base before eating the mythical fruits!"

At Allen’s words, the rest of the squad nodded their heads solemnly and walked forward quietly, following the small stream flowing towards the southeast, and soon enough, the group managed to reach the entrance of a spacious cave.

The cave was actually a hollow gap left after a giant tree grew up around a boulder.

The boulder cracked and broke away after a long time due to rain and weather changes, but the tree remained standing in that crooked and bent shape with a big gap beneath it.

Allen and the rest had discovered this secret place a month ago and had been using it as their secret base for a while now.

Just as the group were getting excited at seeing their familiar secret hideout, Allen suddenly raised his hand and used a predetermined secret hand sign to order the squad to halt before whispering in a hushed voice,

"I heard a faint voice from the hideout... there’s someone in our secret hideout! Someone has sneaked into our military base; our fellow comrades might have already fallen!"

Although Allen was just a kid like any other, he was extraordinarily smart for his age, and he knew that sneaking out of the settlement could cause them all to get punished by their parents!

There were terrifying animals roaming in this forest, and it was extremely dangerous for young children like them to be wandering around here with no protection whatsoever!

"W-what do we do now commander? Sh-should we head back?"

The skinny girl hesitated and shivered in fright while thinking about how furious her parents would be if they got caught.

Even the fat kid nodded his head and spoke,

"Yeah, Commander, we can come back later; we should retreat for now and regroup. This is a tactical retreat, not desertion."

Just when Allen was hesitating and thinking about what to do, the stupid vice-commander didn’t wait for Allen’s order and sneakily jumped forward to look inside!

Before they could realize what had happened, the vice-commander screamed loudly!

"AHHHHH!!!! B-BLOOOD!!!! AHHHH!!!!"

The young kid lost composure and tripped on his own feet, almost falling into the stream and hitting his head on a sharp rock!

Thankfully Allen reacted fast and managed to grab the other party’s collar before dragging him back to his side.

"Who’s there!?"

An unfamiliar voice rang out from the inside of the cave, causing all four of them to panic, but before they all could even think of running away, their bodies suddenly started floating in the air!

Allen and the others were so taken aback by this supernatural phenomenon that they froze on the spot and even forgot to scream!

As if captured by an unknown force, the entire group got floated in the air and got dragged inside the cave instantly.

Once inside, the same familiar voice rang out in the group’s ears.

"What? What are a bunch of kids doing in this dangerous forest?"

The voice carried immense fatigue, as the speaker seemed like they were almost on the verge of fainting and were barely managing to speak.

Attracted by the unknown voice, Allen raised his head and looked at the source, causing his pupils to dilate and shake from panic.

Near the left wall of the cave, a beautiful lady was sitting while leaning her back against the wall. Her clothes were drenched in blood, and a small flying frost-white-haired fairy was sitting atop her left shoulder!

Just as Allen looked at those two unknown individuals, the two of them also looked at him at the same time, and a look of shock appeared on both of their faces.

"The ’Fated Miracle’!? We actually managed to find him!?"

"There’s no doubt about it! You are the ’Fated Miracle’! I can sense the vast powers of the blessing of the heavens and the world in your body with the help of my intuition!"

"Oh my god, to think I finally managed to meet the great ’Miracle’ in the flesh after so much effort! This is wonderful!"

The little fairy on the lady’s shoulder flew around in surprise as she stared at Allen with her big watery eyes before looking at the blood-covered lady and speaking,

"We did it Bela! We managed to find him! Now we can change the world! We can save the world, Bela! We did it!"

Hearing the fairy’s words, a smile appeared on the tired face of the brown-haired lady, and she immediately fell unconscious as if she had finally reached her limit.
