"I-is this what hell looks like?"
Tears appeared in the man’s eyes as he watched his entire house burn in an intense fire.
Dense smoke started to choke him, and he could feel the strength in his wife’s hand grow weaker and weaker with each passing moment.
In that moment, Gaius was so desperate and grief-stricken that he could feel his heart shatter into pieces.
Despite being a tough-minded person his entire life, he couldn’t stop his tears in that moment when he looked at the pain-filled face of his wife.
He knew that if things continued like this, his wife was going to die a painful death, and his unborn child would also likely burn away with this burning house.
Just the thought of losing his wife sent shudders down his spine, and endless despair grabbed hold of his shattered heart!
"Please... God, heavens, devil, whoever can listen to me... please, I beg you, please, save my wife, my child..."
"If you want to punish me, give all of her pain to me and let her live... please... I am ready to do anything..."
No matter how much Gaius prayed, no matter how much he begged, there was no reply.
All he could do was just sit there helplessly and watch his loved ones die right in front of his eyes.
Just when all hope seemed to be lost, a sudden cool breeze spread in the small cabin; the vicious flames of the fire that seemed to be ready to devour everything got extinguished abruptly by some unknown force.
Gaius felt as if time itself had stopped in that moment as the loud and excited shouts of the villagers outside suddenly disappeared as if they had never even existed before.
"Hehehehehe~"
A calming giggle of a child rang out in the small cabin as Gaius noticed that his wife had fallen unconscious, but a new presence had appeared in the room.
The new presence was a newborn child that seemed to be sleeping peacefully while floating in the air.
Gaius’s eyes widened in sheer shock as he saw fairies and small spirits dance around the young child like they were celebrating his birth.
The giggles of the young fairies and the laughter of the spirits were so calming that Gaius could not take his eyes off the scene for even a second.
Before Gaius could understand what was happening, he noticed flower petals falling from the sky out of nothingness onto the bed as the child floated and lay on the petals right beside his mother.
The fairies jumped around in happiness as they all sang in unison.
A wave of cool and refreshing breath spread from the child as the entire wooden cabin disappeared into nothingness as if it had been erased from existence.
All the people outside fell to their knees and collapsed on the spot; the sun rose in the sky despite it being midnight at the moment, and the birds chirped loudly as if they were singing a melody.
Various wild animals, like deer, tigers, and elephants, all walked out of the nearby forest and kowtowed in the direction of the newborn kid.
Elementals, spirits, the trees, and even the mountains in the distance all seemed to be bowing at the same time in the presence of this newborn child.
Gaius felt like he was stuck in a dream, or he had already died and was hallucinating at death’s door, but he couldn’t deny what he was seeing.
He couldn’t understand what came to his mind in that moment and what possessed him, but Gaius took the newborn in his arms and raised him high in the sky with his hands before declaring in a loud voice,
"You who have created a miracle just from being born, I hope your name becomes known in all directions and all realms of the universe one day!"
"According to your mother’s wish, you shall be known as ’Allen Von Rienhart’ from now on!!"
In that moment, as if Gaius’s voice had gained divine favor, it seemed to echo with the world itself!
And as if the world itself were celebrating the birth of a ’miracle,’ flowers rained down from the sky out of nothingness.
As a mere mortal, Gaius could not understand what all this meant, but the very ’Laws’ of the ’Universe’ seemed to have all understood one thing in that moment.
A New Era Was About To Begin!
In that moment, the creatures of the universe had yet to realize the significance of this moment, just like Gaius.
And they had no idea that this same newborn child would one day go on to achieve such great things that the entire universe would tremble from his name!
With a happy and relieved smile, Gaius placed the newborn Allen beside his wife and checked her pulse before taking a long breath of relief.
His wife had managed to make it through somehow; his child was safe, and even the imminent danger of his family being attacked by the villagers had disappeared.
But before he could be happy for long, Gaius realized that he could not stay in this place any longer; he didn’t know when these hateful villagers might wake up again.
There was no time to waste, so he decided to take his wife and child far away from this place to his wife’s homeland!
Just when Gaius was worried about transportation, the various animals that had appeared out of nowhere came closer, a tall elephant bent down as if beckoning to Gaius to ride on its back.
Although Gaius felt shocked and shaken to the core, he himself was not in a right state of mind, and so he didn’t waste long before making a decision.
"I must leave... Allen, Lillain... Let’s go far away from here!"
