Lia grew lonely as young fairies Miria and Lyria fled in terror after witnessing human atrocities in a horrifying video. Rio's autonomous Sword Intent in her locket severed a black rose for her, banishing her sadness and igniting resolve to learn from history's lessons amid the world's gray balance of light and dark. Kai commended her growth as they vowed to prioritize strength, only for a cataclysmic explosion to shatter Kenorland's illusion barrier, unleashing a vast invading army with powerful auras and artifacts.

Unlike typical dungeons that only require battling monsters and defeating the boss room to finish them.

This peak S-rank dungeon proved utterly unique.

The dungeon seemed to hurl Lia straight into the past, dropping her exactly when the collapse of Kenorland, the renowned city of flowers, stood on the brink.

History unfolded before her very eyes, and the dungeon now offered a 'choice' right in her path.

As though the dungeon questioned her: What will you choose next? How will you reshape history? What stance will you adopt in this crisis, and which side will claim your allegiance?

Suspended in the sky, Lia observed a huge human army advancing into Kenorland's borders with precise formation.

Mages alongside potent wind element manipulators soared above the troops; Lia even detected space-time firming up from stabilizing anchors deployed nearby.

Hundreds of elemental suppression debuffs afflicted the city's residents, and Lia herself endured multiple ones amid the invasion.

Up front soared a lofty man sporting an eyepatch over his left eye and puffing a fat cigar, proceeding leisurely as his gaze fixed on Lia with an odd smirk.

"Hoh? A royal fairy? Didn’t expect one here in this obscure coastal hideout... oh well, with the ’Grand Temple of Nature’ and ’Fountain of Elemental Life’ present..."

"Not so surprising for a royal fairy after all... a sweet little extra prize, huh..."

Even without shouting, Lia heard every bit crystal clear through her superior hearing, despite the great distance.

"An S-ranker... and he looks like a highly capable one too..."

Lia held no surprise at the misidentification as a royal fairy; deliberately, she had tapped Kai’s power to replicate fairy aura patterns, hiding her human nature.

[This looks tough... we might manage one S-ranker alone, but backed by a full army, it gets complicated...]

Just as Lia opened her mouth to speak, a formidable aura burst onto the scene from the opposite side.

A enormous portal tore open against the human advance, unleashing a mighty S-rank demon.

Worsening it all, hordes of lesser demons in vast numbers and all varieties began surging from the colossal teleportation gate.

Upon arrival, the demon commander’s eyes snapped onto Lia and the human S-ranker instantly.

"No wonder so many humans swarmed this spot... ah, makes sense! Not just a royal fairy, but a whole hive of those winged vermin here!"

"AHAHAHAHAH!!! TODAY I GET TO WREAK HAVOC AS MUCH AS I WANT!! AHAHAHAHAH!!!!"

Lia stared in dismay as scores of peak A-rank demons poured forth, escalating the peril further.

Assessing the scene, Lia reflected inwardly,

’No surprise Kenorland failed to guard its mythic treasures and domain... both human and demon forces striking together...’

’Today’s fortified cities with elite defenses and S-rank protectors couldn’t hold against this assault without advanced tech and artifacts...’

[We can’t tackle this alone... still up for the fight?]

In response to Kai’s query, Lia grinned and declared,

’Backing off now means lifelong dread; the second I awakened, I embraced a hazardous ’Path’ forevermore...’

’Too late to retreat; it’s conquer or perish, evolve stronger via this ordeal...’

[Haha, figured you’d say that...]

As Lia chatted with Kai, Nova and fellow fairies darted from the temple and other spots to join her side.

Nova eyed Lia with bewilderment and questioned,

"You’re human, aren’t you? If not fighting for fairies, why linger? Why not flee immediately?"

"Staying risks dragging you into the chaos..."

To Nova’s words, Lia drew her sword and replied,

"Naturally, I’ll battle for the fairy race... can’t you spot these huge fairy wings?"

Lia thrust her sword toward the human and demon leader alike, proclaiming resoundingly,

Nova’s eyes flew wide in astonishment; glee sparked on the demon’s countenance as the human spat his cigar and answered gravely.

"I am ’Nine,’ leader of the Ninth Superhuman Combat Force. A honor to greet you, your royal highness..."

"Forgive my bluntness, but today you fall, and your kin surrender—or face total annihilation..."

Lia shook her head while boosting her spiritual magic surge and manifesting silver armor over her body.

As the silver helmet encased her face bit by bit, Lia aimed her sword at adversaries, announcing haughtily,

Vast quantities of mana and spiritual magic swirled about Lia, her presence growing thicker and more potent.

Nine, relaxed moments ago, broke out in goosebumps with ice creeping down his spine.

Even mindless low-rank demons slammed flat to the dirt, paralyzed by the crushing weight of Lia’s aura.

The once-gleeful demon sobered up, unslinging his bow to declare,

"I am Trnak, from the dark ogre tribe; I challenge you, highness, to combat!"

In reply to the gauntlet, Lia shot forward, shielding every fairy behind her stance.

Her calm provocation boomed across the zone,

That cry unleashed the ’Battle for Kenorland’; myriads of demons, monsters, humans assaulted the fairy temple en masse, while turning on one another too.

Though both foes sought fairies, humans and demons despised each other, redirecting countless cannons toward the demon horde and blasting away!

Mana torrents smashed into demon miasma streams, birthing strange anomalies that warped space itself as war exploded!
