Lia recovered from her shock as companions explained the world's moral ambiguity, pitting humans' need for fairy healing artifacts against the fairies' desire for autonomy. They discussed King Allen's vision for a united world order through the World Alliance, born from the catastrophic Thousand Year War that ravaged the planet for a millennium. Kai disclosed the Fountain of Elemental Life's destruction, preventing human exploitation of fairies, and hinted at its link to the ancient city of Kenorland.

As Lia gazed at Miria and Lyria, the two tiny fairies shuddered in terror.

"I-I think I will go; I forgot something I had to do..."

"M-me too..."

Trembling and stuttering, the pair of little fairies fluttered away, leaving Lia to watch their departure powerlessly.

Only moments before, they had been joyfully playing around Lia, but now they fled in sheer fright.

’Sigh...’

Lia held no resentment toward the little ones for trembling at just a human's name after witnessing that terrifying video.

By fairy age standards, they were mere children, easily spooked into fear. Lia felt no anger; she simply sat alone in the vast greenhouse, engulfed by a touch of loneliness.

Right as Lia sank into sadness and isolation, the locket around her neck glowed with a faint pulse of deeply familiar power.

A thin strand of ’Sword Intent’ extended outward, sliced off a nearby black rose, and dropped it gently onto Lia’s lap.

The event unfolded in an instant, too swift for Lia to react; by the moment she comprehended it, the black rose rested calmly on her lap.

The sight of the rose filled Lia’s heart with warmth, utterly erasing her sadness and loneliness.

"You really know how to impress me every time, don’t you... I guess that’s why I fell for you..."

Murmuring these words, Lia caressed the necklace around her neck, a smile lighting her face.

Rio had given her this unassuming necklace before embarking on her training journey.

Without question, the necklace contained Rio’s ’Sword Intent,’ serving as his special way of conveying,

Witnessing the ’Sword Intent’ acting independently left Kai utterly stunned above all!

"I-it can think on its own!? What the actual!?"

Kai had known from the outset that Rio stored a substantial amount of his ’sword intent’ within the plain locket, probably to keep Lia company.

Yet even he never imagined the ’Sword Intent’ inside could respond and operate autonomously, without any command from its master!

"Not even powerful protective amulets and spells can do something like that... that fellow... his control over his ’Sword Intent’ and the ’Law’ of ’Swords’ has reached a truly insane level to be able to imbue his own thoughts into his ’Sword Intent’ like that..."

Unbeknownst to Kai, he was judging Rio by an obsolete benchmark.

Having returned from the Spirit Realm's nightmarish mission, Rio now wielded far greater affinity and mastery over ’Sword Intent,’ dozens of times stronger than the version Kai last observed!

"What Nova said is true... yes, humans can be cruel; no... in fact, all races can be cruel, but that doesn’t mean everyone in the world is cruel. If there are evil people, then there will always be good people too..."

"The world is gray because there’s still ’light’ shining in this void of darkness!"

Rio’s sword intent not only lifted Lia from her melancholy and solitude but also brought her clarity and composure.

She rose from her seat, newfound resolve gleaming in her eyes.

"Kai, you are wrong; the decision of letting Nova talk and me finding about the history of it all was a good thing..."

"Now I know more clearly what I should be doing in the future and what I shouldn’t..."

History serves as a profound teacher; fail to learn from past errors, and you'll repeat them endlessly.

Humanity's ancient blunders were rectified later by King Allen, who personally aided Astra in shielding the fairy race through the thousand-year war.

"Hehe, kiddo, you have grown up... compared to the younger you, now you are more capable of adapting. I am proud of your growth..."

At Kai’s words, Lia rolled her eyes and replied,

"Don’t always try to sugarcoat things... It would be better if you help me face hardships head-on with your power..."

"I have Rio to pamper me and care for me all day long; you don’t need to worry about that. Let’s focus on our strength and growth more from now on..."

In response, Kai nodded, hopped back onto Lia’s shoulder, and declared,

"Well, be my guest then... from now on, our main focus will be seeking more growth and seeking more combat opportunities..."

No sooner had Kai finished speaking than a tremendous explosion rocked the area, the ground quaking wildly as if struck by a colossal earthquake.

"Speak of the devil... here’s your opportunity for more combat..."

Shattering glass echoed across Kenorland city as the enormous illusion barrier enveloping it burst apart violently, fragmenting like a smashed mirror.

Shards of the broken illusion barrier rained down while thousands of fairies emerged from everywhere to gaze at the heavens.

"I wasn’t saying you had to bring the opportunity so early, you know!"

Shaking her head helplessly, Lia charged through a window and soared into the sky on her fairy wings for a clearer view.

Precisely as her spiritual sense warned, vast hordes of invaders had besieged the flower city of Kenorland.

With the grand barrier's collapse, mighty auras emerged one by one overhead, and Lia detected numerous unprecedented powerful artifacts activating within her spiritual sense's scope!

"As expected of a peak S-rank dungeon, it’s nothing like a usual easy-to-conquer dungeon; not only does it attack people mentally by showing them harsh truths, it’s even prepared to strike the challengers with insane difficulty..."

"Fighting an entire army all by myself... hehe, I have always wanted to do that before..."
