Lia learns from her inner spirit about the ancient Kingdom of Fairies, Adonis, destroyed two millennia ago during the era before the World Alliance, leading to the persecution and eventual migration of fairies to Dragon Valley under Astra's protection. The twins, Lyria and Miria, confirm that only fairies can pass the protective barrier, hailing Lia as a royal fairy despite her human nature puzzling both her and Kai. In the safe meadow, Lia proposes friendship, offering sweets that win over the hesitant fairies, who then share their secrets freely.

Observing the pair of tiny fairies leaping about in delight, pursuing the small golem and frolicking with it while savoring the treats, Lia sensed a warm contentment.

’I’m thrilled I picked up cooking...’

Those treats had been crafted by Lia’s own hands, and as an elite culinary master, her creations were far from ordinary.

Treats, meals, whether local or exotic, Lia could prepare nearly every type of dish, and even for unfamiliar recipes, she’d master them effortlessly after just one glance!

By now, for her, preparing food transcended mere cooking; it had evolved into an artistic expression, a talent she wielded with exceptional mastery!

Though Lia had never entered those national or global culinary contests, her expertise certainly placed her at the caliber of a national titleholder, if not higher!

Her mentor, Mel, who also served as her devoted personal attendant, held both national and international accolades; therefore, as Mel’s apprentice, Lia had honed her abilities to such a degree that she could claim numerous victories in competitions with ease.

Yet the true motivation behind Lia’s pursuit of cooking had nothing to do with rivalries or accolades.

In a era dominated by on-demand 3D-printed meals and advanced AI plus robotic aides for kitchen tasks and household duties, the passion for handcrafted cuisine endured.

Not due to superior flavor or quality over machine-generated fare, but because it embodied the heartfelt sentiments of its creator.

In times when meals could be instantly fabricated, receiving something prepared with personal effort transformed it from mere sustenance into a heartfelt emblem of the cook’s affection for the recipient!

Lia had spent much of her early years without parents, so she regarded Mel as a surrogate mother figure.

She held deep respect for Mel’s unwavering support, and Lia had long been captivated by the pure joy radiating from Mel’s face as she prepared meals by hand.

Eventually, witnessing that infectious happiness sparked Lia’s own fascination with the culinary arts.

To Lia, cooking had transformed into a way to evoke joyful expressions from those dear to her heart.

Watching the two young fairies beam and chuckle after tasting the sweets filled her with similar satisfaction.

"You both should learn to be more careful, accepting treats from unfamiliar folks and goofing around with a golem you’ve just encountered..."

"You two are far too laid-back..."

In response to Lia’s caution, the duo of little fairies let out giggles and shot back,

"But you’re no stranger to us, Lia; you’re our buddy, hehe~"

Faced with that response, Lia could merely shake her head in fond exasperation.

’How can I break it to these scatterbrained twin sisters that I’m not precisely a virtuous soul, and even that petite golem they’re chasing in tag...’

’...is essentially a mobile explosive capable of obliterating the whole solar system...’

Seeing them laugh and bound energetically alongside the little golem resembled observing a couple of oblivious simpletons cavorting near a volatile atomic core primed to detonate at any moment.

And the most heartbreaking aspect was that these cheerful little fairies probably met a tragic end in the actual timeline.

’Sigh... that’s precisely why I avoid delving into dungeons that confront us with echoes of bygone eras...’

From the tales shared by the two fairies with Lia, this vast land formed a portion of the Fairy Kingdom known as Adonis.

However, relentless pursuits by demons and humans had forced them into seclusion, splintering the fairy population into concealed pockets scattered across the continent.

This particular settlement, nestled along the northern shoreline of the fairy realm, bore the name City of Eternal Flowers, Kenorland!

Countless fairies thrived within this veiled haven, shielded by a formidable illusionary veil.

As elemental entities, fairies drew nourishment from the ambient elements and pervasive mana.

Hence, they required no solid sustenance or material provisions. Lacking a tradition of constructing lasting dwellings, they cherished roaming through verdant expanses!

Frequently, they’d rest in fleeting magical shelters or simply perch on tree limbs for the night, embarking on fresh escapades come dawn!

Despite their nomadic ways and lack of settled villages, fairies remained sociable beings who delighted in companionship and merriment.

As such, they maintained a designated gathering spot for reunions.

That spot was the Temple of ’Nature.’

Miria and her companions had converged at the temple that morning before slipping past the barrier to confront demons, only to fall into a trap set by a formidable fiend due to their recklessness.

Without Lyria’s timely intervention to stall the enemy, Miria would have perished ages ago. Subsequently, Lia arrived to rescue them both.

Yet in the true history, no such savior as Lia existed two millennia prior; thus, the sisters Lyria and Miria undoubtedly fell to that demon, bereft of any aid in their peril.

The joyful sprites now cavorting with the small golem were mere spectral remnants of that distant history; their authentic counterparts had vanished long ago.

Therefore, beholding their radiant grins stirred sorrow in Lia, though she remained utterly helpless to alter the course of history.

’Sigh... if only the fairy folk possessed greater wisdom and less recklessness...’

[No need to grieve over this, young one... The events of yesteryear are immutable... Dwelling on them serves no purpose...]

[Concentrate instead on your aspirations to prevent such tragedies from befalling you or those you cherish down the line...]

Those comforting words prompted Lia to exhale a resigned sigh, pushing the thoughts aside.

"The Temple of Nature... that’s where we head next..."
