Reborn as an Extra Chapter 624: The Airhead Twins, Lyria and Miria. Part-4.

[The Fairy Kingdom... Adonis... it's unbelievable that this dungeon recreates the events from such an ancient, vanished era...]
'Adonis?... I've never encountered any mention in history books of a kingdom by that name from the past...'
Lia had immersed herself in numerous history tomes at the academy, aiming to secure a spot among the top 10 students of the year.
Despite absorbing vast amounts of knowledge on monsters and historical events, she remained completely unaware of this supposed Kingdom of Fairies.
Everyone knows that fairies reside in a distinct realm safeguarded by Dragon Valley, complete with their own monarchy and traditions, yet no records speak of a domain solely for the fairy folk.
[Naturally, you're unfamiliar with it... even the World Alliance might be in the dark, much less someone like you...]
[The Kingdom of Fairies, Adonis, thrived in an era when the idea of a united world was mere legend!]
Those revelations caused Lia's eyes to widen in utter astonishment and incredulity!
The World Alliance has stood for almost two thousand years, forged initially by 'King' Allen and 'The Goddess of Life and Cure,' Astra!
Therefore, any reference to the period prior to the World Alliance's formation points to events from over 2000 years in the past!!
In essence, this dungeon has somehow replicated the occurrences from two full millennia ago, a time before the World Alliance emerged and when the earliest demi-gods began surfacing across the world.
'So, you're saying the Kingdom of Fairies, Adonis, fell into ruin ages ago, leaving the fairies as rootless nomads hunted down wherever they went...'
[Back then, I paid little attention to humans or this world at large, so my knowledge is limited, but I recall Astra played a key role in shielding the fairy race...]
[Without her intervention, the fairies would have vanished during the millennium-long conflict; it was only after her departure that demons began slaughtering them without mercy...]
[This eventually compelled them to seek refuge under the dragon valley's protection...]
'Indeed, my studies mentioned how demons ravaged countless kingdoms and races, pushing the world to band together against them and establish the World Alliance...'
'Perhaps 'Adonis' met its end at the hands of demons prior to the World Alliance's creation...'
Just as Kai prepared to reveal more details about 'Adonis' history to Lia, Miria folded her arms across her chest and declared in a boastful voice.
"See! I told you! You are a royal fairy! Only ’Fairies’ can pass through this powerful barrier! Others get stuck in a nasty place filled with bad nightmares!"
"That barrier is very horrible!"
Lyria snapped her finger against her sister's forehead, silencing her as she remarked,
"Don't talk about that barrier in such a way... it’s been protecting us for years!"
Lyria paid no heed to Miria, who was feigning pain by clutching her forehead, and addressed Lia directly.
"Don’t mind that Airhead’s words... she’s always been too immature, but the thing about the barrier only letting fairies enter is really true..."
"So, You don’t need to be guarded against us... we already know you are a royal fairy, and we respect you deeply..."
At those words, Lia struggled to form an appropriate response.
'How did I slip past that Illusion barrier without trapping myself in the illusion, especially since I'm no fairy?... that's strange...'
[That's peculiar... As a divine spirit bound closely to your soul, I would have detected any fairy lineage within you immediately...]
[Yet the strange part is... you hold no connection to fairies whatsoever; you're simply an ordinary human like everyone else. So why did the illusion barrier allow you through?]
Even Kai found himself baffled, unable to pinpoint a clear explanation for this enigma.
"This place is safe... now we can relax and talk about everything here!"
Miria bounced with joy, settling contentedly onto a large blade of grass that suited her tiny frame!
Fairies consist mainly of elementals and mana, granting them minimal physical mass, which allowed Miria to use any ordinary grass blade as a comfortable bed!
Witnessing Miria's lounging behavior, Lyria called out sternly.
"We still have to find something for the Royal Fairy! How can she sit on the ground like us?"
In response to Lyria’s suggestion, Lia declined with a shake of her head, placing the small golem and the plump cat onto the grass before seating herself.
The verdant grass felt like a plush pillow, and the surrounding vista was breathtaking; gentle breezes wafted periodically, lifting everyone's spirits. Lia relished the chance to sit and unwind here.
"No need to worry about me... also, you don’t need to call me a royal fairy all the time... just refer to me as ’Lia,’ and I will call you both Lyria and Miria from now on!"
"We can be friends with each other!"
To seal their budding friendship, Lia extended her pinky finger toward the two tiny beings for a handshake.
Miria eagerly grasped Lia’s finger with her delicate hands without delay, while Lyria paused momentarily,
"But Royal Fairies are so strong... can we weak fairies be friends with you?"
Lia affirmed with a nod, producing a assortment of candies from her space ring.
"Of course we can be friends! Here, take them... consider them as a gift from a friend..."
"No need to arrange any food for me... I have plenty with me..."
The enticing aroma from the treats Lia had stored in her space ring—intended originally for Riya—captivated the two little fairies, overwhelming their resistance completely!
Even the previously reluctant Lyria accepted gladly and formed an instant friendship with Lia!
'Food truly proves the ultimate bribe, hehe~'
Enticed by the treats, Lyria and Miria divulged every detail to Lia without the slightest reluctance!
