Reborn as an Extra Chapter 533: The Three Legendary Swords. Part-1.

Previously on Reborn as an Extra...
Rio’s journey to the spirit realm has taken an unexpected turn after he discovered that Kifrid’s grandfather is actually Kehrid, the legendary Master Smith. The encounter reveals that Kehrid is a powerful Demi-god who once served alongside King Allen and was the original creator of Rio’s cursed sword, Vinash. As the two discuss the past, Rio learns the staggering truth about the King’s dual mastery of Sword Intent and Dao Rhythm. Realizing his arrival in the dwarf nation was guided by fate, Rio must now contend with a blacksmith who knows the true, destructive nature of the weapon he carries.

As an "Anomaly," a literal glitch within the world's matrix, Rio exists beyond the reach of fate’s control or the governance of destiny.

Nevertheless, fate still offers its suggestions, leaving it entirely up to Rio whether he chooses to heed them or ignore them.

Since saving Liam was a necessity regardless, Rio followed the prompt and made his way to the dwarf kingdom.

'The influence of fate and destiny is truly formidable... it explains why novel and movie protagonists are so powerful and nearly impossible to kill...'

Fade was also a protagonist whose life would have been a path of smooth progression if not for the interference of an "Anomaly" like Rio.

"You mentioned before that this weapon is incredibly dangerous and uncontrollable, having manifested the 'law' of 'Absolute Destruction' within itself..."

"How were you even able to forge such a devastating weapon? Is creating something like this actually possible? How did you force a 'law' of the 'world' to manifest in this blade..."

At Rio's inquiry, Kehrid let out a sigh and began to explain with patience.

"The truth is, I forged three 'Legendary Swords' throughout my life, all created during the same period for a single individual..."

"That remarkable man was King Allen Von Reinhart! He was a 'Child of Heavens'! He possessed the blessing of heavenly luck and the world itself!"

Kehrid’s eyes narrowed as he continued his tale.

"Heavenly luck is a powerful force; it will go to any lengths to assist its chosen child!"

"By the time I met him, I was already an SS-ranker and a master smith of great talent. He required weapons capable of enduring his staggering power while serving specific roles!"

Rio could already anticipate the direction of Kehrid’s story.

"I am convinced that his 'Heavenly Luck' influenced me during that time, using me as a tool to provide its favorite child with 'Legendary Weapons'..."

"I forged three mighty blades using extremely rare metals that just 'happened' to be available through sheer 'coincidence,' and I just 'happened' to enter a perfect state of mental and physical 'flow' at that exact moment by 'coincidence'..."

"Ultimately, three distinct 'laws' of the 'world' manifested within my works... once more by simple 'coincidence,' appearing entirely on their own..."

The point Kehrid was making was straightforward.

He had only provided the basic frame for the armaments; the 'Heavenly Luck' and the 'World' had handled everything else.

All of this occurred solely so that King Allen, 'The Chosen One,' could wield weapons that would drastically amplify his strength!

Raising a single finger, Kehrid spoke with a grave tone.

"The first blade was 'The Sword of Destruction, Vinash.' The 'law' of the 'End' and 'Destruction' took root inside it, evolving it into an absolute tool of mass carnage."

"King Allen was the first to wield this weapon... I am unsure how it eventually ended up in the demon king's treasury, but Kevin Flash later stole it from that place..."

"The last time I looked into its whereabouts, I learned that Kevin Flash had passed away and the 'Weapon' has been missing ever since..."

Kehrid turned his gaze toward Rio, a slight smile touching his lips.

"It brings me joy to see that this potent weapon isn't lost and has found a new successor who can handle it even better than that eccentric fellow..."

Rio reacted with visible surprise to Kehrid’s claim.

"Wait, are you saying even King Allen couldn't master this weapon? That seems impossible, doesn't it? He was such a legendary figure..."

Kehrid laughed softly at Rio’s remark and replied,

"Do you honestly believe anyone can truly 'control' a 'law' whose sole purpose is the 'Destruction' of the 'world' and the 'end' of all things..."

"That sword appears to have established a bond with your very soul, which is quite bizarre... I cannot explain why this happened..."

"Currently, it remains in a heavily suppressed state because you are still too weak to wield its full power, but as you grow stronger, it will unseal itself accordingly..."

Stroking his beard, Kehrid asked with a look of confusion,

"Actually, I am puzzled... why is this 'uncontrollable' weapon so 'docile' and 'calm' in your presence?"

"It is very strange... Could you perhaps be an 'illegitimate child' of the demon king or something similar?"

Rio felt a sudden urge to punch the old dwarf for asking such a thing.

'Just how many people are going to ask me that same question!!!!?'

"Would it even matter if I were a demon? To your disappointment, I am actually just a normal human..."

Kehrid frowned at Rio’s response and muttered,

"Well... this weapon is obsessed with wanting to annihilate the 'world,' so it might favor 'demons' and corrupted souls over others..."

"Demon Kings would likely be the ideal hosts for this sword... yet even then, it wouldn't be this 'docile'... you are clearly not the ordinary human you claim to be..."

Kehrid dismissed Rio’s words with a wave of his hand.

"I will swear off wine and beer for the rest of my life if you turn out to be just a normal kid. I would bet my life on that statement..."

Rio could only let out a helpless sigh.

He had no intention of revealing his status as a transmigrator, so he quickly pivoted the conversation.

"Forget about me; tell me about the other two swords. I want to hear their stories as well..."

Kehrid chose not to pry into Rio’s secrets, having no real motive to do so; he understood that everyone had things they wished to keep hidden, and it was usually wiser not to dig too deep.

"The second blade was 'The Sword Of Salvation, Astra'! I gave it that name because its properties and power reminded me greatly of that human woman, 'Astra'..."

Kehrid had met 'Astra' alongside King Allen in the past and was well-acquainted with her abilities.

"Astra was an incredibly kind individual, and this sword operated on those same principles..."

"The 'laws' of 'love, care, and protection' manifested within it, creating a sword capable of bringing 'salvation,' 'hope,' 'purification,' and 'protection' to all living things!"

"To be precise, it wasn't just a 'weapon'; it was an artifact that could 'save' millions and heal billions simultaneously!"

Kehrid spoke of this specific sword with a sense of immense pride.

"It was a truly lovely weapon; unlike 'Vinash,' even a commoner could hold it without being harmed; at worst, they simply couldn't tap into its power..."

"In fact, while I was forging it, I accidentally cut my finger while putting 'Vinash' away. When I picked up 'Astra,' it healed me instantly without me even trying to activate it..."

Kehrid smiled faintly as he stroked his beard once more and added,

"That weapon seemed to possess a spark of its own consciousness; it chose its own master and could even dull its own edge if it wanted to prevent others from being hurt..."

"It was the favorite weapon of King Allen! I believe he took it with him when he departed from this world... I have no clue where it might be now..."

Rio listened, fascinated by the description of such a blade.

However, he knew instinctively that even if he found that sword, it would likely never choose him as its wielder.

'To be honest, a villainous sword like 'Vinash' is much more my style...'
