Rebirth of a Village Girl Chapter 1405 - 359: She is a Generation’s Belief [Full Text Complete]

Previously on Rebirth of a Village Girl...
Ni Yang, after months of pregnancy, finally reconnected with Mo Qishen as they enjoyed a quiet evening together. Adelle received encouragement from her sisters while planning her upcoming wedding and new home, seeking their design advice. As the Spring Festival approached, the family's joyful reunion unfolded with Zhao Yu returning home, excitedly engaging with her three younger siblings who were growing rapidly. Amid laughter and playful exchanges, the family basked in the warmth of togetherness, while Zhao Yu’s youthful banter sparked lighthearted teasing from Ni Qingzhu about her age.

Zhao Yu was beaming with joy; she always loved being complimented on her youth. "Hmm, that’s exactly what I like to hear! Fourth Aunt, I really like you!"

Upon seeing Ni Qingzhu arrive, the three little ones began to babble excitedly, waving their tiny hands in the air.

Ni Qingzhu embraced the youngest child first before giving the eldest and the second-born their turns.

"Call her Fourth Aunt."

"Auntie!"

Because the Ni Family was blessed with many sisters, the three little ones simply referred to every one of them as Auntie.

Shifting her gaze toward Zhao Yu, Ni Qingzhu asked, "Duoduo, where is my sister?"

"My mom and dad are in the study writing couplets!" Zhao Yu answered. "I’ll go fetch her for you!"

"No need, no need," Ni Qingzhu said, waving her hand dismissively. "I can just head in myself; there’s no need for all that."

As she spoke, Ni Qingzhu began unzipping her down jacket while stepping further into the house.

Even though the world outside was buried under a heavy blanket of snow, the interior was perfectly warm thanks to the heating, chasing away any hint of a chill.

Meanwhile, Zhao Yu went back to teaching the three little ones.

For every question she posed, she would hand out a piece of candy to the children, leaving them both confused and entertained.

Inside the study.

Mo Qishen was holding Ni Yang tightly as the two of them focused intently on brushing the couplets.

Standing just outside the doorway, Ni Qingzhu felt a bit awkward as she knocked. "Sister, Brother-in-law."

Ni Yang gave a quick response, gently pushing Mo Qishen aside and setting down her brush. "Qingzhu, you’re here."

After greeting Ni Qingzhu, Mo Qishen calmly returned to his task of writing the couplets.

"Sis, Mom sent me over with some New Year’s goods," Ni Qingzhu explained. "She also mentioned she’s making fried dough twists and wanted to know if you like them sweet or salty."

"I’d like the sweet ones," Ni Yang replied. "By the way, Qingzhu, don’t head back for lunch. Stay and eat with us!"

Ni Qingzhu answered, "I actually need to stop by Sister Xiaoxi’s place as well."

"Then I’ll go with you," Ni Yang said, starting to walk out. "It’s been quite a while since I visited Sister Xiaoxi. Let’s just have lunch at her house today."

"Alright." Ni Qingzhu then hesitated, adding, "But if you leave, what will Brother-in-law and the children do?"

Since it was the New Year, Ni Yang had granted the servants a long holiday. With Mo Qishen’s parents away in Jiangnan, there were only the six of them in the house.

Ni Yang laughed and said, "The three little ones have Zhao Xiaoyu to look after them. She doesn't visit often, so they are incredibly attached to her right now. As for the food, your Brother-in-law is more than capable of handling it."

Mo Qishen stepped forward and draped a black down jacket over Ni Yang’s shoulders. "It’s freezing out there, make sure you wear this. Fourth Sister, don't worry. Go to Sister Xiaoxi’s with Yangyang; I will take care of everything here at home."

"Okay," Ni Qingzhu nodded.

Just as the two women were about to depart, Mo Qishen hurried after them. He wrapped a scarf around Ni Yang’s neck, placed a hat on her head, and carefully adjusted her hair.

Ni Qingzhu watched, completely stunned.

She was well aware of how much Mo Qishen adored Ni Yang, but she hadn’t expected him to be this attentive, fussing over her even more meticulously than he did the three children.

He was acting like a worried, doting father.

In Mo Qishen’s eyes, it was as if the three little ones had been picked up from a trash can compared to his wife.

"Do you want me to come pick you up later?" Mo Qishen inquired.

"No need, Qingzhu brought her car, didn't she?"

Ni Qingzhu smiled. "Yes, Brother-in-law, I’m driving. Rest assured, I’ll make sure my sister gets home safely."

Mo Qishen nodded and walked them downstairs to see them off.

The snow continued to fall heavily.

Mo Qishen gave Ni Qingzhu a final reminder: "Drive slowly on the roads."

"Don't worry, Brother-in-law, I will," Ni Qingzhu called back with a smile.

Holding an umbrella, Mo Qishen stood in the snow and watched until the car vanished from sight before turning to go back inside.

Inside the vehicle.

Watching the receding figure in the rearview mirror, Ni Qingzhu smiled and said, "Sis, Brother-in-law really treats you wonderfully."

Ni Yang chuckled. "Perhaps I saved the entire Milky Way in a previous life?"

"That’s going a bit far! Brother-in-law is the lucky one for marrying you!" Ni Qingzhu countered. "But honestly, he truly loves you with all his heart."

Ni Yang looked over at Ni Qingzhu. "Don’t you worry, you’ll find a man who cherishes you just as much."

"I hope so." Ni Qingzhu stared ahead at the road, her expression filled with anticipation.

A short while later, they pulled up to the Wu residence.

Kaikai and Xinxin were thrilled to see Ni Yang and Ni Qingzhu, running toward them while shouting, "Auntie! Fourth Aunt!"

After finishing lunch at Shangguan Xi’s home, they made their way back.

By the afternoon, once the couplets were completed, Mo Qishen drove Ni Yang and the children to Jinghua Village.

Since Mo Qishen’s parents had traveled to Jiangnan this year, he, Ni Yang, and the kids spent the New Year festivities with the Ni Family.
