Alex reflects on the historical technological advancements of his previous life. He considers the steam engine, internal combustion engine, and electric motor, recognizing their importance but also their flaws. Rather than simply replicate them, he uses his Rune-Tech to create a new device with his collaborator Sugud. They successfully test a prototype cylinder called the Mana Motor, which powers the entire workshop, performing tasks like forging metal with ease.
