A mysterious Crooked named Evel offered a way to communicate through a jade plate. Dipper accepted, seeing potential negotiation. Meanwhile, Evelyn apprehended a retired captain but surprisingly let him go, raising Dipper's suspicions. Later, Green Pickle observed Fiona and Diana at a window, believing they were in danger from Vritra and desperately trying to contact law enforcement.

"There are two women asking for he-" just when green pickle was speaking, he made an eye contact with Vritra. The moment their eyes met, ice ran down green pickle's spine.

While the two women shuddered in panic and fear, trembling visibly in the dim light, the helplessness on their faces was enough to make anyone pity them and want to protect the two. It was almost like seeing trapped prey.

'No, I can't let that scumbag hurt them!' green pickle thought, urgency coursing through his veins.

"Hurry up, there are two women in danger, one his Diana, his wife and other is Fiona, his daughter." Green pickle hurriedly spoke, his words tumbling over each other in his rush.

But his voice again paused as Vritra suddenly did something pickle hadn't expected. Something that shattered his understanding of the situation entirely.

Vritra suddenly clutched Diana's throat with deliberate slowness, pulling her closer and then captured her lips, ignoring her protest. The kiss was passionate, almost possessive in nature.

'T- That bastard! How dare he-' green pickle was seething with rage, his fists clenching until his knuckles turned white. Then he hurriedly spoke, desperation leaking into his tone:

"Just come here-"

"Sigh What exactly is that neighbour doing?" the law holder on the other side asked in exasperation, clearly losing patience with the repeated calls.

"He- He is suddenly kissing his wife!! You have to come and stop him, hurry!" green pickle said, his voice rising in pitch.

The officer: "…"

There was a long, suffocating silence on the line.

"You green turd, what's the problem with him kissing his wife? And before that, why are you even peeking into someone's house, if you keep bothering, I will lock you up." the officer angrily rebuked, his tone cutting and final.

"B- But…"

Green pickle watched helplessly as Vritra mercilessly devoured Diana's lips, kissing her passionately with an intensity that spoke of genuine desire. The sight felt like a knife to his heart.

But since they turned, he couldn't see anything properly, only seeing Diana struggling in his arms as he continued to kiss her, her body slowly going limp. The struggle seemed to fade, replaced by something else that green pickle couldn't quite interpret from this distance.

Only after a few minutes, when Diana seemed to have no strength in her body and was short on breath, did he finally let go. Her body sagged against him, exhausted.

As she softly slumped down, leaning against Vritra's chest, green pickle felt as if someone had stabbed him and twisted his insides. The pain was almost physical.

He liked Diana and other women, and was confident in protecting them, but now he had failed in the most fundamental way. That pure goddess like woman was getting defiled by that scumbag, he cannot accept that. For a moment he wanted to go and beat him up, wanted to charge over and challenge him to single combat.

But couldn't.

His legs wouldn't move, his courage completely evaporated.

Then he looked at Fiona, Vritra's daughter, at least he cannot do any such things to his daughters. Surely there were boundaries, even for a monster like Vritra.

'But I can't let him beat Fiona, that-'

Yet in the next moment, his eyes widened in shock as Vritra suddenly pulled Fiona into his arms with surprising gentleness, who appeared frozen in fear, her body rigid with tension.

Then, Vritra leaned forward with methodical slowness, pressing his lips against Fiona's. The kiss deepened immediately.

"W- W- What?!! Huh? This… But t- that's his daughter- eh?" green pickle's mind exploded at the sight, his worldview shattering in real time.

He stared in bafflement as Vritra kissed Fiona fervently, devouring her soft red lips with unrestrained passion, even their tongues intertwining in a way that left no doubt about the intimacy. The scene was beyond anything his mind could process.

While kissing her, Vritra glanced towards the stupefied and shaken green pickle across the distance. Their eyes locked for just a moment, and in that brief connection, green pickle felt the weight of Vritra's intent crushing down on him. He had turned pale and was vibrating, every muscle in his body trembling with impotent rage and shock.

'I guess that's enough for now.' Vritra thought, a satisfied smile playing at his lips even as he continued the kiss. Chuckling to himself internally, Vritra pulled the two women deeper into the house with possessive arms, as the curtain of darkness once again blocked everything from view, sealing the house away.

The isolation was complete.

"Are you done? I am disconnecting then-" the officer was getting impatient, his tolerance completely exhausted.

"T- That bastard just kissed his d- daughter!" after a while, green pickle muttered, his voice hollow and distant. His soul seemed to have suffered a critical blow on many levels, shattered in ways he wasn't sure could be repaired.

He liked Fiona and the other daughters, and knew at least they were pure but now? Everything he believed about them, about the world, had been turned upside down.

Soon, the house was thrashed as green pickle went mad, his furniture flying in every direction as he vented his rage and frustration at his impotence.

…

On the other side, Vritra had already returned to his room, feeling a lot better. The weight of frustration that had been building up inside him had finally been released.

"Hahaha His expressions were hilarious, when you kissed me, that is when he lost it." Fiona laughed, lying beside him on the soft bed, her breathing still slightly elevated.

"Next time, I will also participate in it." Vanessa said from across the room, her role was of Vritra's mother so it would be just as shocking and confusing for the watcher. The thought amused her greatly.

They were just chatting and relaxing when there sounded a knock at the door. The sound was firm, authoritative, and not at all frantic.

"Is it the green turd? Or did he call the law holders?" Maeve wondered, her head resting over Vritra's arm, her expression curious rather than worried.

"I will go check it out." Vritra gently pulled his arm away and got up, moving with unhurried grace.

Then he walked out of the room and paused before the main door, finally able to see the other person clearly through a slight gap. The figure was composed, waiting patiently.

'Now, who is this?' this person clearly wasn't a law holder. He looked normal and had a white mask on his face, pristine and formal. The mask was a calling card in itself.

After a moment of assessment, Vritra opened the door and stepped out, closing the door behind him with deliberate quietness. The outside air hit his skin, cool and neutral.

"…" for a moment, both remained silent, sizing each other up. It was a game both understood, reading the other through posture and subtle movements.

"Hello, you are Vritra right? the former captain of law holders." The other man said, his tone friendly and measured, as if approaching an old acquaintance rather than a stranger.

"I am, and who are you?" although Vritra asked this, but a few guesses formed in his mind already. The white mask was distinctive.

There are only a few organizations who would wear mask like this in this realm openly, and white mask was the trademark of…

"I am from Holy Righteous Heretics, the 10th commander." The man introduced himself then continued: "I have heard what happened recently, from the beginning it was never your fault. I am familiar with your story."

"Haa you were wrongfully accused and punished and even when things came to light, the Vespera family didn't even apologize, ruining your life." His words were carefully chosen, designed to probe reactions.

While speaking, the man observed Vritra's subtle reactions with trained precision, watching for tells and weaknesses.

Right after hearing the word Vespera, Vritra's expressions became twisted, full of rage that seemed to burn from within. His hands clenched involuntarily.

"Just get to the point, what are you here for?" he asked, his eyes burning with barely contained fury.

The man nodded internally, satisfied with the reaction. This guy hates that family to the core, the perfect candidate to be their puppet. Directing hate is so much easier than building loyalty from scratch.

"As you know, we also wish to eradicate the Vespera, reform the laws and build this realm anew. Those Vesperas have ruined everything and needs to be removed." The man said, his voice taking on an almost passionate tone.

And it wasn't a secret that the Holy Righteous Heretics wished to replace Vespera. Even fader and others are aware of their motives, their opposition open but ineffectual. But there always exist some opposition, forces that push back against their plans. Yet this group was secretly adamant at removing them, willing to do anything for that goal.

"So you wish to recruit me?" Vritra asked, cutting through the pleasantries.

"Yes, your strength as the former captain is unquestionable, you were close to being promoted to an even higher position. So not many can challenge you, and I am sure you would want to have your revenge." The man spoke calmly, confidently, as if the outcome was already decided.

"Heh I hate Vespera, especially that Evelyn, so you want to use my anger and turn me into a pawn, using and then discarding? I am not interested." Vritra shook his head with a mocking look, his tone deliberately dismissive.

However internally, he was quite surprised at their boldness.

'These people are so open about it, I did hear that higher beings are always surrounded by chaos but this is just on another level. They don't even bother hiding their intentions.'
