The gods observe from afar as Vritra's group ascends the tower at an unprecedented speed, easily defeating every challenge. Upon reaching the 200th floor, the tower's traps activate, separating the group into smaller, isolated parties.

"Haa? What in the blazes is this?" Vritra scanned his surroundings in the desolate sand land, a deep frown etched on his face.

"Dear, there are treacherous creatures lurking beneath the ground…" Diana's voice, laced with concern, reached him as she moved closer.

They peered intently but saw nothing; an endless expanse of sand stretched for hundreds of kilometers, and the objective remained frustratingly unclear.

"I truly hope the others are managing alright," Vritra added, taking Diana's hand as they propelled themselves forward at maximum speed.

After a prolonged search yielded no results, a multitude of centipedes erupted from the ground simultaneously.

Their elongated bodies, exceeding twenty feet in length, contorted unnaturally, presenting a horrifying spectacle.

Though these monstrosities had attained the 8th evolution, their formidable strength was still no match for Vritra and his companions.

A single, potent spiritual burst was more than sufficient to annihilate them entirely.

However, given the escalating difficulty, it was only a matter of time before truly perilous beings began to emerge.

Meanwhile, in a separate locale, Fiona and Teresa found themselves confronting a vast canyon, through which a fierce wind howled.

A precarious, flimsy bridge spanned the chasm, appearing to be the sole viable route forward.

The two women attempted to take flight, but their abilities seemed to be inexplicably restricted, leaving them with only one apparent option.

"I suppose we must venture across to seek some kind of clue or objective—" Teresa began, her words trailing off almost unconsciously.

"Oh, thank you for informing me," Fiona replied with a smile, her tone dripping with sarcasm.

Teresa could only offer an embarrassed scratch to her cheek, feeling a pang of mortification.

While there were numerous underlying reasons for Fiona's rather cool attitude towards her, Teresa found herself helpless to alter the situation.

Ordinarily, their interactions were minimal, but now, fate had thrust them together in this perilous predicament.

Fiona cautiously began her traverse across the bridge, with Teresa following a few paces behind.

The fragile wooden structure stretched for approximately a kilometer, swaying precariously with each gust of wind.

The sheer lack of any handholds or railings on either side amplified the inherent danger of the crossing exponentially.

With meticulous care, they navigated nearly eighty percent of the bridge's length before their eyes fell upon dozens of zombies stationed ominously on the far side.

These burly, heavy-set undead fixated on the two women with rabid, bloodthirsty gazes.

"Damn it!" Fiona unleashed a fiery bird projectile that collided with the zombies, engulfing them in flames. However, the resulting explosion caused the bridge to shudder even more violently.

Yet, in the very next instant, an even greater number of zombies materialized.

"Allow me to handle this," Teresa stated, stepping forward resolutely.

"…Hmm," Despite her dislike for Teresa, Fiona was not so foolish as to risk both their lives over a minor personal animosity.

Teresa swiftly contained the approaching zombies within invisible spatial dimensions, halting their advance momentarily.

They proceeded with their cautious progress, each deliberate step taken only after ensuring it would not prove fatal.

As only a small section of the bridge remained, a horde numbering in the thousands suddenly charged towards them.

Teresa's brow furrowed as she attempted to ensnare them all within a vast spatial enclosure, but the sheer number was overwhelming, with more continuously surging forward.

They charged with a terrifying ferocity, and in their mad rush, hundreds of zombies were likely trampled beneath the feet of their own kind.

The bridge groaned and vibrated violently under the immense pressure. Gritting their teeth, the two women broke into a desperate run.

Engaging the zombies was manageable; however, the true peril lay in the possibility of falling from the swaying bridge.

Fiona leaped forward, jets of flame erupting from her feet, disintegrating the attacking zombies as she landed safely on the other side.

Teresa followed suit with a jump, but unfortunately for her, the ancient bridge fractured precisely at the moment of her leap.

"Ahhh—" her body plummeted into the abyss below, the darkness of the canyon swallowing her whole, leaving her utterly helpless.

Fiona's expression shifted drastically as she desperately tried to reach for her, but the distance was too great. Before she could even make a move,

Teresa vanished into the Stygian depths of the canyon.

"Noooo!!" Fiona screamed, a momentary hesitation clouding her mind whether to plunge in after her.

Fiona harbored no deep hatred for Teresa; she recognized her as a decent person but simply found her somewhat irksome.

That fleeting moment of indecision proved fatal, as Teresa completely disappeared from view, her desperate cries finally succumbing to the echoing void.

"…" Fiona stood alone, her heart hammering in her chest with rising panic, a chilling premonition taking root within her soul.

"Hah! I told you so! This will be the very floor where they all falter; there's no way they can all make it through this one!" the Sun God declared, followed by a brief, calming cough.

"Indeed, indeed, Sun, your creation of these trials has been most masterful," the Eldest God responded, his voice accompanied by a slight cough.

DING

A subtle chime echoed through the cavernous white space where the ten gods were seated around a grand, circular table. Their brows furrowed in unison.

No sound should exist within this sacred domain.

They surveyed their surroundings, their expressions a mixture of confusion and growing suspicion.

"Who dares intrude upon this hallowed place? Reveal thyself!!" the eyeless god boomed, his already formidable musculature seeming to swell even further.

"How dare you interrupt the council of the Gods?!!" the colossal deity roared, his immense form dwarking even the most massive planets, so vast that entire civilizations seemed to inhabit his very being.

BUZZZ

A minuscule insect, its wings humming softly, entered the opulent white space. It proceeded to hover and then gently settled itself upon the surface of the circular table.

The gazes of all ten gods were fixed upon the minuscule insect, an insignificant presence in this sacred space, yet it had somehow infiltrated their midst.

The infant god withdrew his lollipop, exclaiming with distaste, "Eww, get that bug out of here! I really don't like insects!!"

The other deities exchanged exasperated glances. As the remaining proud gods remained inert, the eyeless god resolved to eliminate the intruder himself.

But then, a sudden luminescence enveloped the insect's form, and it began to expand.

Before their astonished eyes, the insect's body transformed into a man, his own radiance eclipsing that of the Sun god.

He settled himself casually upon the table, casting a languid gaze back at the assembled gods before letting out a yawn.

"Sup, old-timers? Heard you were waiting for me," he inquired, a peculiar, twisted grin spreading across his luminous visage.

Upon hearing that voice, that familiar, audacious way of addressing them.

The ten gods froze, their intent to strike instantly thwarted by an inability to even shift their pupils.

"D- Divine!!" the female instrument god stammered, her voice quivering.

"Indeed, it is your truly," Divine confirmed, standing erect upon the table with his hands clasped behind his back.

"You.. you scoundrel, how dare you show your face here?! I'll kill you for stealing my eyes away!!" the eyeless god roared.

"Return my heart! What have you done with it?" the baby god, equally enraged at the sight of Divine, demanded.

"Ah, that heart? It has already been put to excellent use. Now, how about a game? The first one to speak has their head blown off."

Divine's jovial tone did little to quell the palpable nervousness radiating from the gods.

"You wouldn't dare- " the eldest, frail god began, voice trembling as he shouted, but he was cut short.

"And you are disqualified!" Divine declared, flicking a finger towards the ancient deity.

Reality itself seemed to warp as Divine's form blurred, instantly appearing before the old god. With a gentle tap to his forehead.

BOOM

A soft explosion echoed, and the oldest god's head disintegrated, fragments scattering through the ethereal space.

Divine plucked something from the expelled brain matter and turned his gaze back to the others.

"Hey, heartless brat, still enjoying your 'sucking' habits, I see," Divine chuckled, looking pointedly at the baby god.

"You bastard! I am- " The baby god's fury ignited, his hand raised to unleash his ability, but.

BOOM
