Raising My Trash Ability into a Broken SSS+ Rank Skill Chapter 672 The Glasses

"Sir, that's the base of the Glasses." Ming pointed it out, feeling a strong reluctance to head back there.
"I understand. If we approach that place, might those folks stir up problems for us? What kind of individual is your leader?" Vritra inquired.
"Possibly a handful of them, since in this apocalypse, many humans have become fiends anyway." Ming responded, then continued:
"Regarding my leader, he's not overly wicked and possesses intelligence. I'll clarify the situation for him, so he ought to choose wisely." Ming explained.
"Hmph. Why not just enter and seize control of this spot? Given our power, what could they possibly achieve?" Shitless declared, appearing even more haughty since acquiring two slaves.
With the inclusion of those guardians, numerous factors now required careful thought, and it was uncertain if players might be present here.
"Guide us inside, and Shitless, stop fooling around." He commanded firmly.
"Oh hehe alright, that was enjoyable." He chuckled, slipping the whip into his pocket.
They advanced toward the Glasses organization's base, which appeared to be a university, its barriers fortified solidly.
"Halt where you are!! Declare your identities!!" More than fifty sentries positioned themselves atop the wall.
This stronghold certainly housed a large number of inhabitants.
"I- I belong to the Glasses, and these individuals are accompanying me!! We require an audience with the boss." Ming yelled.
"Ming? The fellow known for his renowned wife?" One sentry appeared to know him.
"Y- Yes, that's me." Ming affirmed hastily, displaying a sheepish expression.
Abruptly, the sentries burst into laughter, and then the entrance swung open as several emerged.
"Who might these be? Why are the-" They halted upon noticing the stunning women.
In an era where females were already scarce, such gorgeous ones existed?
They gazed in a daze, mirroring the typical response of others.
Vritra let out a sigh, stepping ahead and stating: "I must discuss vital matters with your leader."
"Oh, and what might those be?" One sentry shook his head and eyed Vritra with menace.
"I've heard your group possesses an attribute mine nearby. I'd like to use it temporarily." Vritra declared, his face unchanging.
"Wha- pfft hahahaha, brothers, did you catch that? He's asking to borrow our mine? Haha, Ming, is that your purpose in returning?" The sentries roared with laughter before their faces grew sinister.
Vritra prepared to reply, but abruptly a cold shiver coursed through him; he swiftly scanned upward and about.
Yet nothing was there—moments ago, he had surely sensed a sharp stare.
Though devoid of murderous aura, its raw force sent chills across his skin.
'Am I just hallucinating? It has to be that, doesn't it? Doesn't it?' He wished desperately.
"Ahem. Regardless, let's avoid squandering time and breath here. Why not simply allow me to see your leader?" Vritra suggested.
"Heh, do you think just anybody can encounter our leader? This brat, acting all smug just because he's good-looking!! Should we snap your legs right in front of these lovely ladies?" The sentries grew bolder with the women present.
They felt compelled to overpower Vritra and capture the women's attention.
'Sigh, if the sin system functioned as it once did, I'd be raking in loads of sin points.' Vritra mused, truly unwilling to battle the whole base.
However, on reflection, confrontation seemed unavoidable, as he required their attribute mine.
Nobody would surrender such a treasure.
"Shitless, Onest, handle these guys. We're heading inside." Vritra instructed, grasping Yasmine's and Yennefer's hands as he proceeded.
"Feeling peckish?" He inquired of the dragoness.
"No," she answered, surveying the surroundings.
Shitless morphed into a metallic figure while Onest, the supreme pilferer, surged ahead.
The sentries were taken aback and poised to activate their powers.
Yet at that instant, Teresa enclosed them in box-shaped enclosures, immobilizing them utterly.
The team entered while Shitless and Onest rendered all the sentries senseless.
Their arrival proved spectacular, prompting increasing numbers to rush out.
Yasmine unleashed mild spiritual pulses, causing everyone to collapse.
Meanwhile, Vanessa employed her power to confine individuals in psychic delusions, halting them at a distance.
Yennefer, Fiona, Diana, and Maeve refrained from acting, lest they accidentally slay the foes.
Swarms of people slumped unconscious across the terrain as the mere ten pressed onward.
Ming and Ergen trembled in fear, trailing quietly in the rear.
"Who goes there?!!" A booming voice echoed as a stout man barreled out, lunging directly at Vritra.
"Could he be the leader?" Vritra questioned, extending a finger to summon a blood cord that seized the man.
"N- No, that's the vice leader." Ming answered in terror.
"I see, pointless." Vritra flung him aside casually and kept moving.
This university spanned a vast area, sheltering hundreds within, though most cowered out of sight.
"Who are you lot?" A figure hovering in the sky materialized overhead.
He wasn't truly levitating but stood upon some unseen platform.
"Are you Glass?" Vritra queried, as the leader's odd name was 'Glass'.
"Indeed, what brings you here? Do you intend to duel me and claim this base?" Glass responded, resembling an ordinary university student with heavy lenses covering his eyes.
That explained his moniker.
"Oh no no, we're not villains. We avoid such actions; our visit concerns a straightforward issue." Vritra denied, shaking his head.
Sigh…
Glass exhaled in relief, glancing around to confirm everyone remained breathing.
These intruders weren't truly malevolent, unlike the prior raiders who stole freely.
"Very well, then what do you seek?" He probed, assuming they desired alliance, which eased him.
"We merely wish to use your attribute mine briefly, and you could hand over any attribute stones you've gathered from it. That's all." Vritra stated indifferently.
"Oh, just use- what?" Glass stared in shock at the audacity, demanding their prime asset.
"Uhm, since you're not robbers and seem decent, I can decline, correct? Any repercussions?" Glass questioned, knowing he couldn't relinquish the mine.
"Naturally, you can refuse. As I mentioned, we're not here to pilfer. I only require it temporarily, and regarding repercussions, none exist. Just refuse, and we'll depart." Vritra assured, smiling sincerely.
"…" Glass scowled, doubting such benevolent souls existed. Perhaps the world hadn't fully devolved into chaos.
"Yea, sorry, I truly can- umph" As he attempted to respond, Glass's mouth was abruptly sealed.
"You truly can… allow us to use it? Then many thanks, may we have it longer than a day?" Vritra pressed.
"Hmmm Umph!!" He gestured no, silenced and oddly unable to wield his power.
"Ah, so only one day? That works as well, thank you; you're a decent fellow." Vritra remarked, then signaled Vanessa to retrieve details on the mine.
Their collective might sufficed to overpower such a faction.
'T- This man is a demon…' Ming and Ergen clung together, lamenting their misfortune in encountering this fiend.
