Raising My Trash Ability into a Broken SSS+ Rank Skill Chapter 560 Bloodbath
Previously on Raising My Trash Ability into a Broken SSS+ Rank Skill...
Vritra warped out of the Yate realm, facing a looming threat that significantly eclipsed the power of a Lord rank.
In a heartbeat, Vritra returned to the dragon kingdom. Having maintained his suspicions regarding the dragons, he had stationed a knight and a Hellmancer there to monitor the situation.
However, it appeared that Yasmine had never reached her destination.
Materializing just outside the palace gates, he charged toward the residences of the dragon Elders.
With a simple snap of his fingers, every single one of them was forcibly summoned before him via teleportation.
"What? What's going on?" one stumbled back, seemingly interrupted in the middle of a meal.
"How did I get here?!!" another shouted, caught with barely any clothing on his frame.
Refusing to waste a single breath, Vritra bellowed: "WHERE IS YASMINE?"
"E- Empress? W- We have no knowledge of her whereabouts..." one of the Elders stammered, casting suspicious glances at the other council members.
Dago's father was absent; though he was entirely under Vritra's command, it seemed he had been kept in the dark regarding this matter.
Either that, or he had been intentionally excluded from the scheme.
"Y- Yes, we requested the Empress come here to assist with a crisis, but... she never showed up," another member stammered out.
Vritra’s fury surged with every passing second, causing the entire dragon realm to begin trembling violently.
An aura that forced everyone present to shudder in terror radiated outward, the ground splitting apart as nearby structures crumbled.
The sky grew pitch black as a chaotic energy saturated the atmosphere.
"I am granting you one final opportunity, or I shall wipe the dragon race from existence!" Vritra suddenly blurred, appearing instantly in front of one of the Lords.
Both of his hands shot upward, seizing the man's head. His thumbs dug deep into the eye sockets, and a moment later, the head detonated in a gruesome spray of bone, flesh, and brain matter.
The body was then shredded; the physical essence was absorbed while the soul was devoured whole.
"TELL... ME..." As he spoke, dozens of tentacles erupted from his back, stretching out across thousands of meters.
BOOOOOOM
Explosions began to rock the kingdom. The group, realizing they had no hope of resistance, attempted to flee.
But the instant anyone tried to move, they were blown apart. Lords were being slaughtered effortlessly, and true terror finally took hold of them.
Vritra's form began to shift, his skin becoming a swirling mess of colors as it transformed into lethal energy.
Two massive horns sprouted from his head, and the surrounding space hummed with a dangerous vibration, as if the entire realm was on the verge of collapsing.
BANG
He stomped his foot, releasing a shockwave that claimed the lives of two more Lords instantly.
Vritra was consumed by a murderous rage, yet a sliver of cold logic remained.
He would have utilized his psyche abilities if time permitted, but searching every individual mind was impossible.
Instead, he scrutinized their expressions. Paralyzed by such overwhelming fear, they were incapable of masking their true emotions.
While everyone was terrified, a few looked particularly guilty, as if they were weighing their chances.
It was as though they were debating whether a full confession would truly save their lives.
"..." Wordlessly, Vritra flashed in front of one of them.
Time appeared to freeze as his stare seemed to pierce the dragon's very soul.
A third eye opened on his forehead, and the flames of corruption immediately engulfed the dragon.
Agonized screams filled the air as the victim tried and failed to assume his dragon form.
"Aahhhhhh stop it! I'll talk—"
"Don't you dare, we'll be—"
BOOOOOM!!
The council member who tried to intervene was instantly vaporized. Vritra slightly lessened the intensity of the corruption flames.
"Speak!" His voice no longer sounded human; the mere sight of him caused the nearby dragons to tremble and nearly lose consciousness.
None of them could have imagined such a monster stood behind their Empress. Had they known, they never would have dared to plot.
Against this devil, whose identity remained a mystery to them, they stood no chance at all.
"T- That way... toward the southern gate of the continent," he managed to choke out.
Vritra vanished in the next instant, but one by one, the remaining Lords exploded and perished on the spot.
A colorless flame then consumed them, transmuting their remains into wraiths.
Vritra realized he should have done this from the start; it was only for Yasmine’s sake that he had spared them.
But since they had betrayed her, he felt the urge to erase the entire dragon race, though that was a secondary priority for now.
Vritra expanded his senses, searching for his wife, but her presence was nowhere to be found—or perhaps it had been masked by someone.
Teleporting instantly, he arrived at the continental gate. Vritra scanned the area for hundreds of kilometers but found no trace of her.
"Could he have deceived me?"
Every passing second felt like a desperate struggle against time.
Forcing himself to stay calm, he analyzed the situation.
Whoever the culprit was, they hadn't killed Yasmine; they had likely abducted her.
Even though he couldn't detect her, Vritra had a premonition that she was no longer on this planet.
'The spatial fluctuations...'
[Null Activated.]
Vritra was immediately thrust into a bizarre dimension where the fabric of time and space became visible to him.
Still, it wasn't enough.
The field palette.
Without hesitation, Vritra funneled sin points into the Null field, which was only at 50% capacity.
Instantly filling the remaining 50% was incredibly perilous, but Vritra lacked both time and alternatives.
Suddenly, a massive influx of information flooded his mind as his mastery over the Null ability ignited.
An agonizing pain tore through Vritra's head, more intense than any he had ever experienced.
It felt as though his physical form was about to burst from the pressure.
His consciousness began to slip away as his body plummeted toward the ground, tears of blood streaming from his eyes.
[Cry Baby Activated.]
Vritra’s eyes snapped open as a surge of energy revitalized his body. He felt a sudden spike in his power; even his mental fortitude and skills seemed amplified.
Though the pain remained excruciating, he finally regained control over his movements.
The Cry Baby skill was proving to be unexpectedly potent, much like the last time it had saved him.
A tempest soon blanketed the continent as the energy surrounding Vritra began to mutate.
Vritra triggered Null once more. Having now achieved full comprehension of the field, its power was infinitely greater than before.
With just a single look, Vritra detected faint spatial disturbances near the continent's gate.
His form, now composed of shimmering destructive energy, flickered and reappeared right before the fading fluctuations.
He grabbed hold of the space itself and, with a roar that made the entire continent tremble, tore it wide open.
The sound was far more terrifying than anything the survivors of the war had ever heard.
Exerting his full power, Vritra plunged into the spatial tunnel, moving with such velocity that time itself seemed to reverse.
Suddenly, a bubble appeared in his path, emitting a familiar energy signature.
Traveling too fast to fully process his surroundings, he simply grabbed the massive bubble and yanked it back with all his strength.
The spatial passage began to splinter and shake violently.
