Raising My Trash Ability into a Broken SSS+ Rank Skill Chapter 558 The Coffin

Previously on Raising My Trash Ability into a Broken SSS+ Rank Skill...
Vritra braves a violent, space-time distorting tornado to retrieve a fragment of Yennefer’s soul contained within a pill remnant. After enduring physical strain and utilizing his full speed as a demigod, he successfully secures the fragment and reunites with his wives. The group learns that while Yennefer is safe for now, they must find a way to reconstruct her body using soul potions and a mysterious ancient coffin. However, the coffin lacks the necessary energy to function, leaving Vritra searching for a way to power the artifact and complete her restoration.

The group examined the coffin, though they remained uncertain about the specific type of energy source required to power it.

"Since she is currently out of danger, we can afford to take things a bit slower," Vritra remarked quietly, despite his internal urge to complete all preparations before her awakening.

"Indeed, she will likely emerge in less than a week..." Vanessa noted.

After stowing the coffin away, the companions decided to share a meal, realizing several days had passed since they last ate.

Even though their high level of strength meant they didn't require sustenance to survive, they still felt a strong craving for a delicious feast.

Diana quickly summoned attendants to prepare an assortment of dishes without delay.

"Shitless and Onest are expected at the Yate realm shortly. I've summoned them to hand over the two items I retrieved from Divine," Vritra mentioned while taking a leisurely walk accompanied by his wives.

"Who are those two?" Teresa inquired.

"Onest is a thief, while Shitless is... well, a monk," Vritra explained. Now that the duo had nearly finished their assigned tasks, they could finally commence their training.

"I see," Teresa murmured, her interest fading as they reached the dining area.

Vritra pulled out a chair to assist Teresa with seating, then performed the same courtesy for Fiona.

Before long, a sequence of steaming, fragrant platters was served.

They conversed while dining, and Teresa was finally introduced to Vritra’s mother, Vanessa.

With the exception of Fiona, Teresa found it easy to bond with the other wives, forming a particularly quick connection with Yasmine and Vanessa.

Once the meal concluded, Vritra intended to return to the Yate realm for the time being, where he would also persist in his search for the necessary energy source.

Vanessa, Maeve, and Diana chose to remain behind, planning to utilize their various networks to find alternative methods for securing a body for Yennefer.

"The Oracle's physical form was destroyed during the conflict, wasn't it? Does he currently possess a body?" Vritra suddenly inquired as they headed toward the exit.

"He does indeed have a body now, Master," Maeve confirmed.

"Excellent..." It appeared he would need to infiltrate the Golden Moon’s headquarters sooner than anticipated; perhaps the solution he sought was hidden there.

"We shall go to their base together," Vanessa declared, harboring her own deep-seated resentment toward that organization.

Vritra gave a nod of agreement, though he didn't plan to head there instantly, prioritizing the Yate realm first.

Having been absent for over ten days, he was concerned about the current state of affairs there.

He was particularly worried about those who had been harassing the family with threats or negotiations to recruit Teresa; he had no intention of letting the family be ruined.

Furthermore, he needed to rendezvous with Shitless and Onest at that location.

As evening had already fallen, he resolved to depart the following morning.

"We will go see the Oracle tomorrow. I'm curious to see his expression when he lays eyes on me," Vritra said with a smirk. With Yennefer safe, he no longer feared revealing his presence.

Fiona, Yasmine, and Teresa took to the skies alongside Vritra, just as they had before.

"Doesn't your realm require your presence?" Vritra asked his red-haired wife, noting how she seemed entirely unconcerned despite her long absence.

"No, they can manage without me," Fiona answered, confident that no one would dare cause trouble while she was away.

As they flew and talked, Yasmine received a message from the Dragon Kingdom.

"Husband, I must head there for a few hours... I can also investigate if there are any records regarding a potential energy source," the dragoness suggested.

"Very well," Vritra agreed, watching as Yasmine sped off into the horizon.

He had grown so accustomed to her company that he felt a sense of longing whenever she left his side.

After watching the sky for a moment, the remaining three continued their flight.

...

Upon reaching the outskirts of the Yate realm, they encountered a massive assembly of people crowding the entrance.

These were the individuals seeking treasures from Teresa or attempting to force her into their service.

As Vritra prepared to enter, he spotted two men standing at the rear of the crowd.

Shitless and Onest had arrived but were being blocked from entering.

The pair noticed him a moment later. Shitless began to smile, but before a word could be exchanged, Vritra swept the two men and Bullo into his dimensional book.

The group then crossed into the Yate realm and flew toward the palace.

Gunter was pacing anxiously outside the palace entrance, his expression fraught with stress.

"We've returned," Vritra announced, while Fiona had already vanished from sight.

"Art! Where have you two been? I was terrified you had been snatched away. It’s been over ten days..." Gunter sighed, rubbing his temples to soothe a mounting headache.

The relentless stream of assassins and unwanted solicitors had pushed him to his limit.

"My apologies, we were delayed elsewhere, but we are unharmed," Vritra replied, his spirits high.

Soon, he would be reunited with Yennefer.

"You should go see your mother immediately. She has been so worried she's hardly eaten," Gunter sighed once more.

Vritra nodded and went with Teresa to visit Aya. After reassuring her, they stepped back out of the palace.

"What is the plan for that crowd?" Gunter asked, scratching his head as he thought of the people swarming the realm's borders.

"Inform them that Tess has no intention of crafting anything for them. Tell them all to depart at once," Vritra commanded.

While this would certainly create enemies for the Yate family, Vritra didn't care; they were powerless to do anything about it anyway.

"Understood. Also, the number of intruders sneaking in has risen, but... we keep finding them dead. Do you know anything about this?"

Gunter feared a dangerous killer had infiltrated the realm, even if the victims were only the trespassers.

"Yes, that is the work of someone under my command. You have nothing to worry about."

After a bit more conversation, Gunter turned to Teresa and said:

"You aren't having any trouble here, are you? If anything bothers you, just inform Art or myself. Don't stress over other matters and just enjoy your life." Gunter found himself wishing he had a daughter of his own.

"Yes, father," Teresa replied.

Gunter eventually departed, leaving the three of them alone.

Vritra led them to an open field, erected a protective barrier, and finally released the three from the book.

Muoooo!

Bullo was overjoyed to see Vritra again, rushing forward to enjoy a pat on the head.

"We meet again!" Shitless shouted, though he was puzzled by his bull's sudden affection for Vritra.

"Hey Vritra, congratulations on another marriage," Onest said, shaking his head in disbelief.

He scanned the area, spotting Fiona and the heavily veiled Teresa.

"Thanks. Regardless, I've brought something for you both," Vritra stated, producing the two items.

He handed the metallic bell to Shitless and the map to Onest, explaining the process of using them to bolster their Cultivation and strength.

"This isn't some dangerous or suspicious trap, is it?" Onest asked with a suspicious look, recalling their history.

"Certainly not. Go see for yourself. If you aren't interested in becoming more powerful, then forget it," Vritra replied with a shrug.

"W-Won't it hurt to strike it?" Shitless asked, despite his desire to improve his physical defenses.

"The choice to proceed is entirely yours," Vritra answered.

The two thought it over for a moment, realizing it was for their benefit, and decided to accept the challenge.

"Fine, we'll head out then. I'm going to start my practice right away," Shitless declared with resolve. He then added:

"Thank you, Piti—er, Sir Vritra."
