Raising My Trash Ability into a Broken SSS+ Rank Skill Chapter 555 The Star Realm

Previously on Raising My Trash Ability into a Broken SSS+ Rank Skill...
As the Yate realm buzzes with activity from invading assassins and opportunistic organizations, Psyche and Gunter remain occupied managing the chaos. Amidst the tension, Vritra spends a peaceful morning deepening his bond with Teresa, sharing an intimate moment before they prepare for their journey. Utilizing his Misty Essence mythic halo to mask her appearance, Vritra ensures they can travel without drawing unwanted attention. After a final meeting with his allies and family, the group sets out for their next destination: the Star realm.

The party of four made their way toward the Star realm, following the coordinates known to Yasmine and Fiona.

"Are you aware of our history yet?" Yasmine questioned, despite having been present when Vritra explained the entire situation.

"Yes, I am informed," Teresa answered, her voice remaining perfectly neutral.

"That is excellent. Regardless..." Yasmine immediately began chatting with her, acting as though they were longtime companions.

In contrast, Fiona remained more guarded and quiet.

The group reached the vicinity of the Star realm swiftly, wasting no time during their travels.

Multiple guards stood at the entrance, blocking the path; it appeared the realm had gone into lockdown following the wedding events.

The Star family monarch was the sole survivor among the leaders, as the other two families had seen their monarchs perish.

The gateway to the Star realm was located within a marketplace in a nearby city, where all transit had been temporarily suspended.

Vritra and the three women descended before the sentries. Due to the illusion surrounding her, Teresa’s actual features remained hidden from view.

Furthermore, she was encased in various barriers so dense that not even a stray insect could approach her.

"My apologies, but the Star family is currently closed to all visitors," one guard stated with respect as they drew near.

Vritra weighed his options: he could either force his way inside or attempt a peaceful entry.

He chose the diplomatic route first.

"Go and inform them that Art Yates, Fiona Arclis, and Yasmine Arclis have arrived," Vritra commanded.

The guard, who had been staring blankly at Fiona and Yasmine, snapped back to attention with a look of suspicion and shock.

While he had never personally encountered the two empresses, the gates were frequently plagued by imposters claiming to be famous figures.

Before the guard could respond, however, a figure emerged from the shadows.

"Greetings, sir. I shall notify our monarch of your presence immediately." The Star family, after all, specialized in gathering and providing information.

It was impossible for them to fail to recognize this group, even if the low-level guards lacked such knowledge.

The guard who had spoken first felt a cold sweat break out across his skin; he realized he had just narrowly avoided a fatal mistake.

"Very well," Vritra replied with a nod. He glanced back, curious about whatever lessons Yasmine was currently imparting to the naive Teresa.

He watched as his new wife nodded incessantly, her head bobbing like a mechanical doll.

"Sir, please enter. Our monarch is on her way to receive you," the man announced after a brief delay.

They could not risk offending such individuals.

Setting the other three aside, even a couple of Teresa’s artifacts possessed enough value to either buy out the Star realm or wipe it from existence.

The items she crafted were simply that extraordinary.

Vritra gave a nod, and the four of them crossed the threshold, instantly appearing within the Star realm.

The atmosphere here was a stark contrast to the vibrant world outside; a heavy silence hung over everything.

Business stalls were shuttered, and the streets were nearly deserted.

Shortly after, a figure appeared in the sky, flying toward them with great speed.

She touched down in front of them, scanning the group before offering a welcoming smile.

"Greetings, Art, Empress Fiona, Empress Yasmine, and Teresa. Welcome to the Star realm. If I had received prior notice of your visit, I would have made proper arrangements for—" the monarch began, attempting to curry favor.

Vritra cut her off mid-sentence.

"Skip the formalities. I have a question for you."

"Of course. If the information is in my possession, I shall provide it freely as a gesture of our bond. But first, shall we move to the palace?"

She gestured toward her nearby residence.

"Lead the way." Vritra felt a surge of anxiety now that he was closing in on this clue.

He feared that if this lead proved fruitness, he would be at a total loss on how to locate Yennefer, though he trusted that Divine had not deceived him.

The monarch escorted them into the palace and into a private hall, dismissing all guards from the room.

They took their seats around a circular table.

"Allow me to have a meal prepared. We have such rare delicacies—" Once again, the monarch tried to please them, but Vritra stopped her again.

"That won't be necessary. Tell me, do you recognize this?" He produced the glass sphere, the artifact Teresa had made.

A miniature, swirling cyclone was visible inside the transparent vessel.

"Oh, that... yes, I believe I recall it. I- Is there a problem, Master Yates? I only intended it as a gift..." There was no way she could forget it.

She was the one who had dispatched it to the Ford realm to stir up trouble.

Had it not been for Teresa, that cyclone would have laid waste to a significant portion of the realm before being contained.

The monarch was terrified that they had come to settle the score.

Vritra saw right through her anxiety.

"This isn't about retribution. I simply want to know where you found this," he demanded.

"Uhm... it was recovered from a realm our family attempted to scout previously. It proved to be far too lethal, so we abandoned the expedition after only securing that cyclone. Since it served no purpose, we..." her voice trailed off as she glanced toward Teresa.

Fiona had dispatched the other two monarchs with such ease; how could she, who was even less powerful than the leaders of the Trant and Grant families, not feel dread?

"I understand. Do you still have a way into that realm? I intend to go there."

As Vritra spoke, Yasmine and Fiona played their parts, looming silently with lethal, piercing gazes.

"T- That location is extremely hazardous; one could easily be lost there forever. I would advise—" she started, but was silenced instantly.

"Just give me an answer." Vritra’s eyes flashed as he released a sudden, crushing pressure upon her.

In that moment, he seemed far more menacing than the three women combined.

"Y- Y- Yes, but reconnecting to that specific realm will be difficult and may require some time. We severed the links once we halted the exploration," she stammered out. She felt as though a single mistake would mean her death and the ruin of the Star realm.

"That is fine. We will find it ourselves. Just take us to the portal used for your realm explorations," Yasmine commanded.

If Yennefer could be found, the majority of Vritra’s burdens would be lifted.

"Very well, please follow me. But do be cautious, the place is simply too perilous—" Noticing Vritra’s cold stare, the monarch fell silent and began to lead them.

They traversed several hallways before descending deep underground.

After traveling dozens of meters down, they entered a vast, cavernous space.

Vritra had no interest in the architecture; he pushed her to reach the destination.

Soon, they entered a massive chamber.

Standing on a raised dais was a large, metallic ring-shaped portal, roughly fifteen feet in diameter.

"Sir, this is the gateway we utilize to scout various realms."

"Fine. You may go now," Yasmine said, beginning to inspect the device.

The monarch bowed and exited, locking the door behind her and sealing the chamber.

She remained outside, trembling with fear.

"Wife, how do we proceed?" Vritra turned to Yasmine, his primary strategist. She gave a nod and walked toward the portal.
