Raising My Children With My Personal Spatial Ability Chapter 3050: 3050: Cloud Berth, It's Truly Vast
Previously on Raising My Children With My Personal Spatial Ability...
After all, he remained merely a young evil dragon, far from matching the power of his ancestors!
Never mind then—let these humans revel in their arrogance a little longer. He was still fairly weak right now, so he could simply evade them temporarily. The Cloud-Touching Forest held countless lakes; if he couldn't conceal himself in this one, another would do just fine. Did he truly believe they could track him down?
In the Cloud-Touching Forest, he held all the advantages over these humans. Finding him was simply impossible!
And so, shortly after Qian Jiyun and his companions had combed through multiple lakes, the evil dragon abandoned its former dwelling and shifted to a new lake.
…
“Big Brother Qian, Sister-in-law, this is Cloud Berth, the largest lake in the Cloud-Touching Forest.”
Bai Yan guided Qian Jiyun and the others to a massive lake. From the shoreline, its far edge vanished from view. What met their eyes was only the water merging with the sunset, painting a breathtaking scene.
“Cloud Berth, it’s truly vast.”
An Jiuyue’s smile slowly deepened, her face beaming with sheer delight.
Yet it wasn’t the stunning vista that thrilled her, but finally securing a clue on the evil dragon they’d pursued for days.
Qian Jiyun glanced at his wife. Their long years together let him instantly read the intent in her eyes.
“That spot seems ideal. We’ll camp by the lake tonight.”
He eyed a nearby grassy area and directed Bai Yan and Hong Tianxu.
“Alright.”
They answered promptly and hurried to the grass to start preparations.
Staying overnight meant clearing the area first. Even a meadow bristled with weeds, and they needed to scout around for spots to hunt wild game too.
“Little Xu, you handle things here. I’ll scout the surroundings.”
“Brother… okay, you be careful too.” Hong Tianxu paused but finally agreed to let him go.
He really wanted to remark that nothing was worth scouting—those small wild creatures might have feasted on improper things while growing up.
Even if they hadn’t before, with demonic beast corpses decaying everywhere in the Cloud-Touching Forest now, if the wildlife had scavenged those carcasses, how could anyone eat them? No matter what his cousin planned, he wouldn’t dare touch it.
“Just collect some firewood and return. I have meat here we can roast.” An Jiuyue said to Bai Yan.
Her space brimmed with meat, all raised at home and exquisitely tender. It only required cooking. Plus, Cloud Berth’s waters showed no trace of contamination.
“Alright, I’ll go now.”
Bai Yan replied and headed off to gather firewood.
“So, did we get results?” Qian Jiyun whispered softly into An Jiuyue’s ear after settling her comfortably on a lounge chair amid the grass.
An Jiuyue nodded upon hearing him.
“In one of the lakes we checked earlier, it was sly indeed, shapeshifting into a tiny snake to slip into the water. Without the Paper Person monitoring every ripple, we might have overlooked it!”
Who would’ve thought an evil dragon would masquerade as a thumb-sized snake in such a huge lake?
Thankfully, the Paper Person’s watching skills were top-notch. She had purposely selected one with exceptional observation abilities, paying points for it. It was absolutely worth every point!
