The old man also saw through the open door his critically ill granddaughter.

Tears immediately flowed uncontrollably as he rushed into the room in a few strides and lay on the bed crying.

"Xiao Shan, what’s wrong Xiao Shan, don’t scare Grandma." The old man cried bitterly.

The critically ill little girl also struggled to open her eyes and spoke in a very weak voice, "Grandma... Grandma, it hurts, it really hurts."

"Xiao Shan, Grandma brought the doctor for you, you’ll feel better soon, be good." The old man’s heart ached as if being twisted.

His precious granddaughter, whom he hadn’t seen in just half a month, had turned into this state, how could his heart not ache?

He had been hoping that his granddaughter could be cured!

Now it seems not only has she not been cured, but her condition has worsened! She’s at death’s door!

"Doctor Li, didn’t you say Xiao Shan was getting better? How could this happen?" The old man, still not realizing that Doctor Li was purely a fraudster, that the so-called saving was fake, their money was the real target.

"Get lost!" Doctor Li suddenly changed his face, even shoving the old man hard.

The old man, emotional, was no match for him and was pushed away effortlessly.

It’s clearly you two old fools who are incompetent, dilly-dallying, with such a petty amount of money, how can I treat your granddaughter?" revealing his ferocious side, Doctor Li scolded, "Let me tell you, your granddaughter’s state is entirely your own fault, it has nothing to do with me."

"Since you don’t want treatment anymore, take your sickly kid and get out, I won’t serve you anymore, get out now!"

Doctor Li roared, even grabbed some of the little girl’s belongings from the bedside and threw them out of the room, trying to drive the old couple out.

"Ah! You fraud, you are endangering lives for money, how could I hand Xiao Shan to someone like you!"

The old man was heartbroken and finally realized that he was deceived.

The so-called cure was all a lie, they had been swindled out of their money from the start!

"Give me back my money, that’s my granddaughter’s life-saving money."

Crying out, the old man rushed forward again, demanding the money back from Doctor Li.

"Damn it, get lost, where on earth do you get refunds for medical fees? Don’t be ungrateful, you old fool, if you dare to make trouble again, I won’t go easy on you." Once again, Doctor Li pushed the old man away.

Unaware of his precarious situation, Doctor Li continued to bark despite being hit.

Seeing this made Niu Ming even angrier, without saying another word he rushed over and pounded him again, beating Doctor Li until he cried out in pain, face bruised and battered.

Qi Zhengwei, also unable to stand the beastly behavior, followed up with a couple of kicks.

"Ouch, it hurts, stop, stop, if you keep hitting, it’ll get bad." Doctor Li wailed, trying to plead for mercy.

After a round of beating, Niu Ming’s anger subsided considerably, so he stopped.

"Alright, alright, you’re tough, but don’t leave if you have guts, I’ll make you pay today." Barely catching his breath, he yet again started acting recklessly.

Screaming as he crawled outside, intending to call for backup.

But Niu Ming caught up, grabbed him by the collar, and lifted him up.
