The blood-red figure had caught the blade with one hand.

Emperor Ezekiel's expression changed. His arms tightened around the handle of his greatsword as he tried to force the blade down, but it refused to move even an inch. His lips slowly opened in frustration as recognition flashed through his eyes.

Before he could finish, a heavy force struck Emperor Ezekiel directly in the chest.
His body shot backward like a cannonball and tore through the air at terrifying speed. The sudden attack happened so quickly that several Transcendent Knights could barely follow it with their eyes. The moment those words left his mouth, the ground beneath his feet exploded.

Alaster's figure shot upward.
Within seconds, he rose high into the sky until his blood-red figure appeared directly before the bright sun. His body blocked part of the sunlight and cast a long shadow across the ruined battlefield below. The bloody energy around him continued spreading until the sky itself seemed to take on a faint red shade.
Everyone below immediately raised their heads.

Alaster's voice came from high above.
His body trembled with anger while the blood-red aura around him violently surged.

Everyone immediately responded.
The four Emperors shot toward Alaster from different directions while the Transcendent Knights followed behind them. Queen Ophelia raised her staff and dozens of magic circles appeared around her. The court mages also gathered their mana and aimed their spells toward the sky.
